The location is very helpful in order not to spend time for transportation. You are maximum 5 minutes far by walking to the closest tram station and after a couple of stations, you can reach to city center. The room is designed pretty compact. There is a tiny market on the first floor that can be sufficient for daily needs in case of an urgent need.

Around the hotel there is nowhere that is closer than 10-15 minutes of walking distance to buy anything, including supermarkets or any shops. The Deutz-Messe area is on the other side of the Rhine River, that is comparatively more isolated than the side which has the city center. Also you have to ask for a hair-dryer from the lobby but as I experienced, sometimes they may forget to give you a bill in return of the 20€ deposit you pay them for the dryer. In case of a such experience, you should get ready for making them consult to each staff member in the room for giving your 20 € deposit even though you hold the dryer in your hand and it works perfectly fine. Not the best experience for a check-out.

Considering this is a budget hotel the look and feel of the lobby was really good. Breakfast was good too and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The location is great for anyone who has business at the trade fair/Messe Köln.

The room itself was a little odd. I don't get why they put the shower in the main room instead of having a separate bathroom. It's not like there is no separate room for the toilet, so it wouldn't have been too much of a hassle to make it a little larger. But well, it is what it is. For anyone who looks for a hotel with "tourism" intentions I would not recommend this hotel, it is a horribly dead area of Cologne and the walk to the train station isn't something I would recommend at night.

the room was clean and the bed was comfy. the shower is just a booth in the corner of the room but the water pressure and the heater worked really well to wash out my exhaustion from the trip.

they have no hair dryer available in the room, but you can borrow one from the reception (you have to deposit 20 EUR though). if you book this hotel, it is best if your train stop at messe station as it is just a short walk. but my train arrived in the central station which took around 25 minutes to walk to this hotel.

Absolutely exceeded my expectations in room cleanliness and comfort level of the beds. Staff were also very friendly and helpful! I also liked the ambient lighting in the room and the lighting controls located conveniently near the beds.

The breakfast was not very diverse, but the food was very good! Unfortunately, the location wasn't really advantageous, kind of isolated from the rest of Cologne. The walking path from the central train station to the hotel was further complicated by a construction site. The trams were fairly close and provided decent access to the city, however.

simple budget hotel. Extremely clean, quiet room, brightly lit, and not CD at all. fantastic price. I would definitely recommend. impressed that they let me order takeaway food to my room and that the driver was able to deliver it directly to my room. Thanks guys.

two. Very small things. My room had two single beds, and only one of them had a plug socket near it. and, The area. It's in is a bit out of town with nothing much going on. 50 minutes walking into town around big road infrastructure. I guess that's why it's cheap though, it's not a criticism at all. just be aware that the hotel is by no means in the town centre. otherwise, cracking place.

The room I got was spacious, it seemed to be for a couple with a small kid. As I was alone, it was quite comfortable. It was quiet and clean.

You have the shower and the sink in the middle of the room (I knew already from the photos). This is weird. As I was alone, this is not a problem, but if you are sharing with someone, it should be someone you don't mind seeing you naked during and after shower. The sink was also quite small and not convenient.

I spent 2 nights in Cologne because the american band, Living Colour had a gig in the city. So I just needed a bed and internet access while I needed to work during the day. This accomodation fulfilled maximally my expectations. They have a wifi of quite high bandwidth (with over 100 Mbit/s) which suprised me. Bed was comfortable and I could get a coffee in the longe over the day.

There was nowhere to place my suitcase so I kept it on the floor. Some folding rack or something similar would be of much help.

The room has everything you need (except a hairdryer, but not everyone needs one). When I arrived, the towels were very neatly folded at the foot of the bed, which was quite inviting and felt nice! The staff was very friendly as worked efficiently.

You can see that the hotel has been around for quite some time; there are small things here and there that make you realize that it’s due for a renovation soon.

Nice location, reasonably priced hotel with good value for money. Staff was very helpful. Internet was very good. The beds & pillows a bit small, but OK to sleep without any problems.

Breakfast was very basic to pay for it. Need to pay a bit more attention to cleanliness and also improve room facilities.

The room was compact, but very well designed. Sink was easy to access, I always had space, and could even use the table and stool for a comfortable time at my laptop. It had AC, but I never needed it, despite how hot the outside was. Also had a TV, but I never used it. A 5 minute walk from the hotel was a tram station that I could use to get to the Lanxess Arena or deeper into the city, and the whole neighbourhood was relatively quiet. Everything was clean.

I never ordered the breakfast, but from what I saw it was pretty lackluster, and there weren't any shops near the hotel, bar a gas station. Even though I really enjoyed the room, I feel like if I was a family of 3 (for whom the room is intended, with the double bed and a bunk bed over it), it would feel kinda cramped, and the shower not being separated, like the toilet is, would be awkward .
