Pleasantly surprised by this hotel, tucked among residential buildings. A 10-mn walk to the light rail into town, we used it as our base for the Euro 2024 in Köln (Cologne). Our room was spacious, no A/C like in nearly all the budget hotels we stayed in Germany and France. Breakfast was amazing for its variety and freshness. Free private parking. Service-oriented desk agents who held our luggage for free until we came back in the afternoon. Exceptional value for the money!

No restaurants around the hotel but they will gladly point to some places nearby like the Goldener Pflug where we had a wonderful German dinner. Grocery stores Aldi and Lidl are next to the restaurant.

Very clean and spacious room. Very friendly and helpful staff. There was no A/C, but a fan was provided and did the job just fine. Good breakfast; not a huge variety of options, but it was still varied and of good quality.

The room was rather noisy, both because of the windows (the building is next to a highway and an airport, and you can tell, even with the windows shut), and also because of the door (can hear the noise from the hallway and other doors being slammed). But it is not a big issue, and it is definitely tolerable for a few days.

Although the location was NOT in walking distance from the convention that I was attending, It actually turned out to be a much better ordeal than being in a overly crowed ambience such as the other "higher" quality hotels that were just across the street from the convention center. Even though it was a 3 star hotel, there was absolutely NOTHING to miss from the other higher rated hotels. The staffs' courtesy & professionalism went far beyond their specific duties and it was a pleasure to interact with them at any given time. All of their suggestions payed off, when away from the hotel, thus, making my journey quite proficient!!!

The breakfast was excellent, the whole place very clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful with information about the local area, transport into the city etc. Close to trams with direct link to the city

The room got very hot in the afternoon/evening, and a lot of light in in the early morning (in May). Heavier curtains would have helped both issues Quite a way out from the city and the sites there but good transport and lower cost of hotel compared to those in the city made up for that

Staff were very friendly- this is the highlight of my stay. No problems with Wifi as in other hotels. Room was clean, but a little bit outdated. Breakfast was good for the price.

Unfortunately, the air traffic was annoying (only for those who like a quiet sleep at night). This is something that the hotel cannot control but still worth mentioning.

Modern looking hotel. Professional service at the desk with staff speaking very good English. Very good selection at breakfast with pleasant staff available if anything needed. Very good size of the room and bathroom. Had a very good sleep.

The location of the hotel is not the best. There was rubbish around the parking and on the nearby street. It spoilt the look of the hotel.

Spacious main room; quite pleasant decor; maybe could benefit from at least one lounge chair; Large main window let in plenty of light. Bathroom also spacious and clean with good tiling and all facilities (shower, toilet, taps, heated towel rail working well; Bed quite comfortable. Staff helpful and pleasant. Good breakfast room and basic but quite adequate breakfast

Could benefit from at least one lounge chair. Only a desk chair provide although this was comfortable. Personally, I don't really go for the bean bag style of pillow. Could benefit from a cooked breakfast visible menu (in English)

Breakfast was great! Had everything and the staff was wonderful. The room was a typical small room but the bathroom was excellent. It was clean when I arrived. I did not request my room to serviced anytime during my stay.

The hotel had no air conditioning. The time I was there the temperatures were very high. The only thing cooling my room was a large floor fan. It was like sleeping and staying in a sauna.

The breakfast was very good, and the service was about our expectations.

The carpets in the room are horrible. They should not be in any hotel and it provoked my allergy. Window size of the room is simply ridiculously huge and not practical at all.

Nice big rooms, very clean and free parking. Breakfast was very good, you can ask for eggs with all sorts of options. Enough restaurant options in the neighborhood.

It is a bit further away from the city centre, but Public transportation takes you there in a few minutes. EV charging option is 700m away.
