lovely village 3 mins from airport by taxi. cost 12 euros. VERY quiet. super comfy beds. VERY clean. friendly staff. served continental breakfast, but we were made scrambled egg and bacon on request, with toast. absolutely gorgeous peaceful gardens to sit out in, with forest at the back, where you could walk, with proper pathways.

there was no bar, but you could get certain drinks from a little bar at reception. no biggie, there was a very friendly pub down the road, 5 minutes walk, that did very nice meals as well.

Room was nice. The hotel itself is very cozy. The breakfast room and the one connected with it were very interesting, with nice furniture and decoration. The restaurant was closed, but, probably, it is open during the main season, like summer. But the room where restaurant is supposed to be is very interesting. The owners have very good taste, and it is simply beautiful inside. Breakfast was very good. Inside of the hotel is very quite. It is easy to reach the hotel from the autobahn.

Maybe the shower was a bit small. But all other features were so good, that they overweight this one.

Was beautifully dressed for Xmas. The room was fine - even had a fridge in it. It’s the little things that make it - lovely Xmas chocolate on pillow when I went in.

Forgot German hotels don’t have T&C in rooms - so missed a cuppa when I woke up. But water is better for you!!!!

The staff was great! They were very helpful, and the owner was up at 5 am to call an airport taxi for me. That's great customer service. Beautiful grounds! Peaceful and quiet setting. I recommend this hotel for travelers who need to be near the airport. There was no airport noise.

No elevator.

The staff is absolutely amazing. Breakfast was great as well, with a lot of personal attention. The location of the hotel is also great: with just a ten minute drive to the train station, you can park for free at the train station if you take the train to reach Cologne. Train tickets are very cheap so instead of paying the jackpot for parking in the centre of the city, it'll just cost a few euros to park at Porz-Wahn because parking is free when you show a valid train ticket.

A little bit silly of course, since generally we didn't spend much time watching TV anyway, but it would've been nice if there were some more international channels. I brought a Chromecast so it wasn't a big deal whatsoever. All in all: this is still probably one of my favourite hotels ever, with the best staff ever!

All clean and nice. Pleasant guy stayed up late for me, very nice.

The lady on the reception was a little grumpy. Tried to charge me City Tax, which I didn't know anything about, and was quite snappy when I queried it. But wouldn't stop me from staying here again - enjoyed the short stay.

Stayed at this family run hotel a number of times on business and for leisure, and it never fails. Always a warm and friendly welcome and super service. Excellent food and comfortable rooms.

Being able to make a hot drink in the room would be good!

They had a fan and a water koker. Really quiet.

Excellent breakfast, especially juices, and above all - BIG GLASSES. I saw it last time in hotel 12 years ago, glasses are everywhere extremely small, and here they have BIG GLASSES :) Very comfortable bed.

The staff was absolutely amazing, attentive and kind. The breakfast was delicious, very, very abundant. The rooms renovated, silent and comfortable! I absolutely will come back, and I recommend this structure for anyone wanting to know ou passing by Köln!
