The wifi was unfortunately very weak/slow

Location, cleanness, friendly & helpful staff, breakfast. We chose the Astor Hotel for a week's holiday in Munich because of its proximity to the center. It was a very good choice as many of the tourist attractions in the center are within walking distance. It is also convenient that the hotel is close to the train station. I liked the hotel staff, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hearty, we had a choice of hot dishes and snacks every morning. The coffee was delicious. The room and bathroom were clean with all the essentials. We asked for a quiet room and we were happy that this request was fulfilled.

Everything was ok during our stay. Many migrants live and work in this area, but we did not experience any inconvenience. Our stay was nice and comfortable.

The hotel is very convenient and the room was clean and comfortable. The manager and his staff are very helpful. Easy access to trains, Marienplatz, bus tours, shops and restaurants. The area is multicultural with lots of different food options. Perfect for a short stay in the city.

The area is not "pretty" but we never felt unsafe. There was an issue with our shower, but the manager responded quickly when advised. Sheets didn't fit the bed properly- not a major issue, just a little annoying.

The location at first looks unpleasant, but it is actually only 5 mins walk from Munich Hauptbahnhof and about 10 - 15 mins walk from Marienplatz. The hotel has an elevator, staff are friendly and our room was clean, comfortable, spacious with enough storage space for our 5 bags. Staff had configured the room to suit our family before we arrived. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast which we enjoyed.

The street the hotel is in isn't the most pleasant looking, but the hotel and surrounding streets more than made up for this.

the area is not the best but not dangerous

The room was nice, the bathroom was great. Appreciated the hair dryer and lots of hot water. Good lighting and a comfortable chair. The front desk staff were very nice, and the breakfast was very good.

The area seems a little sketchy. It is nice and close to the train station, though. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction between the train station and the hotel, so navigating was tough with suitcases, but that is hardly the fault of the hotel.

Location near Haubtbahnof is just perfect, quiet and cozy hotel with all the needed services. Bistro was positive surprise. Easy to go everywhere from there. We visited Deutches Museum and BMW Welt&Museum during our visit. Breakfast was good. Enough variation.

Bed was making too much sound, when moving on it. Room was really hot, when entering there and AC control UI was locked (for a little while), before able to cool the room a bit.

That was very close to evething.the employees was nice .room was clean inside the room evething was good, beds was very comfortable. Bartroom clean. Smells good. And we was happy there. I will stay there again

Out side men’s was very noise, they’re spoke and laugh very strong. And they awaken us. Most of the days we was there always noise outside with those people.they don’t think in the people who need sleep

it’s nice decent and clean property…. has all the amenities in the room required for your stay… was nice to see a good hairdryer in the bathroom unlike most hotels this one was amazing…location is great and perfect to be in center… everything is near the hotel, food, groceries , etc

Nothing really major or deal breaker.. but there was weird food smell in the lobby but nothing extreme…

Excellent location near the Munich Hbf station. Easy walking distance to many museums, Christmas markets, etc. Staff were incredibly friendly. Room was clean and had everything I needed for my two night stay. Good temperature control.

The curtain in the room was a bit too small for the window, so there was quite a bit of outside light in the room. Easily remedied with an eye mask though.
