The beds are extra comfortable and big.

Ground floor lobby is not very welcoming. Coffee & tea supplies in the room are for 1 person, even though it's supposed to be a 2 person room - this seamed like a cheap arrangement. Watch out, toilet door in glass.

After checkout, I took the train to Munich, then realized I had left my laptop in my room at Leonardo. I contacted them, they secured it, and had it waiting at the reception desk for me to pick up later that day after I returned by train. We took daily train trips to various cities for a week, and appreciated the location, incredibly convenient to the train station. The air conditioning was appreciated during the unusual hot weather. High-quality room and fit-out. Thank you!

The tablet to communicate with the hotel and the TV - could never get it to work properly!

The hotel is very clean and parking was easy. Directions from the hotel were clear and easy. The rooms are quiet, even being next to the station, with the windows closed. A/C was good, and the staff was nice at check in and check out. Rooms were spacious with several outlets for charging. We were a short walk to restaurants, and it was easy to get to the trams/public transport. Location is good if you are coming by train. This is a great place to sleep and recharge for your day exploring the town.

We would have liked a simple breakfast option that was more reasonably priced. The area by the station is very busy - it's not a negative to the hotel, we just would usually prefer a little more relaxed location. Other than that, we have no complaints!

We changed our booking to this hotel at the last minute because we wanted air-con in a heatwave. Very glad we did. The room is spacious and comfortable, the shower is fantastic and the breakfast is amazing. Loved the fact that the room overlooked the train tracks at the station but you couldn't hear a thing. Also appreciated the fact that you could still open the window if you wanted to. Location is great if you travel by train as in 2 minutes you're inside the station or wandering inside the city walls. It's a 10 minute walk to the main market square.

The reception staff were polite and efficient but I didn't feel welcomed with open arms. It was a bit clinical. I also detested the fact that payment was taken on my card on the day we arrived but I still had to pay on check out. I was assured the original sum would be returned but hate this way of doing business. Either take the money on arrival or on departure. Don't make me pay twice.

I recently stayed at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, and I had a great time. The hotel is super close to the central train station, which made my travel convenient. The room was really nice, especially the super comfy bed. I also appreciated the free bottle of sparkling water in the room. I felt safe and secure during my stay. The WiFi signal was stable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'd recommend Leonardo Royal Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in the city.

Really nice hotel. The room was great and the size perfect for two. We had only one night here but we will surely consider going to this hotel again if we come back to Nurnberg. Parking is fine to locate. They put a sign as soon as you go down in the parking, indicating you to turn left before the normal parking entrance. If you did not pass a big automatic door, you're in the wrong entrance. The elevator from the hotel parking gets you directly to the hotel, that's perfect. They have some electric vehicle charging parks, but did not use it myself. The decoration of the hotel is colorful and well thought out. Breakfast was perfect. We had a lot of choices, and plenty of combinations to for those who like to taste everything. The hotel location is great. Near the train station and really close to the old Nurnberg center. Plenty of restaurant choices just across the road.

parking process was a little unclear and correct parking area was a little hard to find (we didn’t And had to pay 54 euros for 2 days) but once there, it is pretty close to the hotel, so very convenient we wanted to order room service an hour before they closed and there was no cook available that would be fine if there were more pantry or vending options

The bed was very comfortable, the location is absolut perfect just at the entrance in the old town, the staff is very polite and nice, the design of the suite was very nice. The location near the train station was a great plus as our son is passionate about trains and he was dazzled by all the trains coming and going. Very good soundproofing as we did not hear any noise from the train station.

The bathroom drain was very bad and it was difficult for all the 4 of us to have a shower one after another. A little bit expensive for what it overall offers.

Nicely located hotel just in the city center, great parking garage with plenty of space. Very nice rooms, we booked a junior suite that had a nice seating area and plenty of room, with two large tv screens - one in the seating area and one by the bed. Good breakfast in restaurant, though we were unlucky to arrive at the same time as a large conference which made the experience slightly chaotic. Food was still good, staff very helpful.

The restaurant staff should rethink how the breakfast was set up. Things that usually go together (yoghurt+granola, tea+milk, bread+butter) were located in different places making the process very much back and forth. Things like butter, cheese and similar were located in a corner causing a lot of queueing. I'd advise the staff to observe the breakfast and think about layout improvements.

Perfect location - next to the train station and easy walking distance to the old town and Christmas Markets. The staff was friendly and efficient. The facilities were modern with nice lounge area in the lobby for relaxing with friends. Our room had plenty of space for moving about, storing luggage, etc. The Wi-Fi was strong.

While the room was comfortable and spacious, the lighting was insufficient - especially in the wardrobe area. It was necessary to use a flashlight to be sure we took all of our belongings before checkout. The only bright light in the room was in the bathroom. Since the bathroom door is translucent glass, this can be disturbing if one party uses the bathroom at night while the other is sleeping, as the light shines through onto the bed. And while there is an ample breakfast buffet, it became very crowded especially on weekends. All told - we would definitely stay here again!
