The location was quite remote for walking around, but closeby to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The hotel has a long tradition which can be seen in the breakfast room. Our room was in a separate building and was very spacious. Breakfast was nice and is highly recommended. The cancellation policy (which we didn't use) is one of the best I have seen.

The bed were all single beds pulled together for a double, but our baby in the middle was slipping in between the matresses at nighttime. There was an annoying step in between our two rooms where you almost tripped everytime. The parking spaces were rather limited and tight.

The hotel is situated in a small town in a rural environment. This gives tranquility. consequence is that this is only to be reached by car which wasn't a problem for us. rooms and breakfast area looked very authentic and were nice and clean. At breakfast the lady of the house made specially eggs that were well done due to here pregnancy. So people where very friendly.

The staff was very friendly and accomodative. The two bedroom apartment I rented was situated in another building at the back of the facility. The room was classically furnished and a pleasent environment to stay with all the necessory facilities including a refridgerator with which we were very happy as we wanted to do some grocery shopping in Germany before leaving the next day. The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of choice of breads and cheese etc. We enjoyed the stay very much.

The only small inconvenience I can think of is the external iron stairs that lead to the apartment, which was a bit difficult to climb for my mother-in-law who had a problem with one of her legs, but it was manageable somehow.

The hostess was super kind. I can not express how helpful she was for us. I loved this cozy and traditional house a lot. and breakfast, too.

It was not easy to get there casue we failed to rent a car. We had to walk back and forth to the town which took almost one hour.. The staff was able to provide a ride, sometimes, however.

Pick up and delivery to train station. Staff very supportive and helpful. 200+ year old gasthaus had original charm but upgraded to provide nice accomodations.

Did not have rental car so had to rely on taxi into Rothenburg and back. Staff made sure taxi available but additional cost could have been avoided- our mistake having no rental car.

Great little gem 5 minutes from Rottenburg! The room was big, clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We felt great here and we'll definitely be back.

There was a church right next to the establishment and it was ringing the bells starting with 6AM.

it is for the fourth time/year when I travel to this location so it is clear that I was a big fan. still the nice owners and the very good breakfast.

unfortunately some “upgrades” made the building loose part of its style like the new terraces… some improvements needed in the room as well. the ventilation system in the bathroom is absolutely horrible, it stops 30 minutes after you leave the bath and the noise does not let you sleep at all!

It was lovely to be able to stay here for a couple of nights. We really enjoyed being able to visit Rothenburg but being able to stay outside somewhere calmer. The owners were lovely and the breakfast was great. Thank you for a great stay.

This place is so beautiful! The staff is friendly and kind, the breakfast was delicious, the room and bathroom were bigger than I expected. Everything was sparkling clean. We had a wonderful time, we slept well. I would definitely come back!

Friendly place, in a good countryside location away from the Rothenburg crowds.

Booked this for half-timber style, so inevitably somewhat disappointed to end up in a motel-like room in an adjoining barn conversion.
