Mittermeier Staff was very attentive and friendly, the breakfast was outstanding with fresh local produce and each room has a special unique touch. What I really appreciated was the teams effort to minimize the eco impact by asking their guests to skip on the daily cleaning. Which I did and - surprisingly- got rewarded with some homemade honey and juice. Really nice touch!!! I can also really recommend dining at Villa Mittermeier also in case your are not staying with the Hotel. The food and quality was excellent paired with very good service. Well Done!

The staff were cheery, helpful and attentive. The rooms were clean, modern and well-equipped. The wifi worked, the food was good and the location was only 100m from the gates of the old city. AND there was parking !

The restaurant was SPECTACULAR! They accommodated us at the last minute (albeit with a reduction in available food choices, but what we had was terrific and certainly more than sufficient). Sommelier was great and very attentive. Staff as well! Property is just outside the main gate of the old city which we actually liked a lot (only a 60-sec walk into the city).

No air conditioning so you sleep with a fan and the patio sliding door open. The patio is shared with at least one other room so you get people's cigarette smoke blown into your room in the morning and nights. We also had an issue getting the heating turned off in the room but this could have been user error since none of the switches are labeled.

Very unique, beatifully designed butique hotel. We stayed overnight on our way back from Italy. Very friendly staff, history behind the place and owners. Excellent breakfast. Next time we will definately opt for evening meal at the restaurant. Parking. Next to the historic city center. This place made our day on the way back home ! We wish we could have tried one of the owners wine from local wineyard at the arrival.

A great place right next to the city center, with free parking and even a couple of EV chargers. The rooms were very nice and spacious, comfortable to live in for several days.

Everything went well for me despite a few faults. The heating battery in the room was working (in the middle of August :), and it got fixed only on a second day. One of the cranks in the shower sink was broken. The rooms didn't have a proper AC, though the hotel is looking for the powerful alternatives.

This is an amazing property - so charming and elegant, yet casual. We were very comfortable. Perfectly appointed. Ideally close to the wall, you can walk from your door all the way across the city in less than 10 minutes, and 5 minutes to the center of town. Big bonus is the parking available! They are also known for their culinary delights! This is the one, just book it!

The room was very nicely decorated. Location was good to walk into town. We had dinner at the restaurant our first night. It was a bit pricey, but very delicious with a personalized experience. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Recommend trying it out if it is within your budget. Breakfast was not bad for the additional expense.

We had an earlier flight but checking in early was not as easy as we have experienced in the past after traveling a far distance.

Location in front of city gate. Breakfast items fresh and mostly from local produce. Eggs cooked to perfection.Enjoyed dinner a lot. Had Grundversorgung. For us at night enough. Cannot imagine to eat nine instead of 5 courses. Homewine Riesling very delicious. Nice idea to give info about the course with a card featuring also one of staff who were all exeptionally friendly a spoke english

Toilet flush did not work. Problem was known in general but seemingly not on housekeeping watchlist .

This hotel was a surprising gem during our multi city European trip. The location was fabulous and when we first drove up we thought oh how cute of an inn But when we walked in and went to our room we could not believe it was so so much more. The owner and chef of the restaurant is recognized to the region. The amenities at the hotel go beyond small hotel and into the spa and resort type category.

The single only complaint that we had which is minimal was we were assigned room 27 I believe which is in the ground level and back right. Upon entering the room we open the door for air circulation in the door overlooked a parking lot and houses in the back and workers who park there during the day. So there was a sense that we needed to keep the pretty cool shades drawn while in the room. Still we would stay at this hotel every single time And recommend to everyone.

Perfect location immediately across the road from the old town with free parking onsite. Helpful and friendly staff. Good buffet breakfast with eggs and bacon cooked to order. Spotlessly clean. Nice views from our top floor room and an elevator.
