Breakfast was amazing and the host was very accommodating. They gave us the parking information before we arrived. The balcony was lovely and we had a castle view on one side and river view on another side. The room was spacious and clean.

Unfortunately, there was a concert (electro music) up in the castle and it was a little noisy from the streets from all the partying at night because we had to keep the windows open for fresh air. And thats why the castle was closed to visit. It is not the hotel's fault of course, but something to keep in mind for planning.

Very pleasant small hotel in a great location. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was plentifull and tasty, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. They provided us a free pass for local/regional public transport which was an unexpected surprise. We used the train to visit other towns nearby. The hotel itself is on the pedestrian main street but there was plenty of cheap overnight parking very near.

Some street noise at night...but it was a festival night so you would have experienced that everywhere in town.

Welcoming reception by multilingual host. Rooms and dining rooms were immaculate. Beds clean and comfy. Breakfast had high quality baked goods with excellent dairy products and fresh fruit. Coffee and tea service were great.

The value and location were in a historic district with easy access to recreational walking paths, the Rhine River, and nearby hiking trails. In such a locale, the historic size of the rooms were compact, and could not be made larger. For the location and value of these rooms, the smaller size was good.

Friendly owner who makes a real effort. The location was right in the centre of town, so there was great access to everything, The room was okay for a single, and the bathroom/shower was great. Great breakfast and a nice personal touch by reserving the table with your name. Was able to store my bike inside securely, although it had to be put outside before 8am because it was in the breakfast room. Access to an honesty bar for drinks and some snacks.

Lovely little hotel with very friendly hosts. Location was perfect. The street the hotel is in has no car access and so it is very quiet. It was easy to park the car at the public parking space at walking distance from the hotel. We received very clear guidance from the hotel on that. Lovely restaurants in walking distance and the vicinity of the river made for a nice evening stroll. The breakfast was very nice. With lots of choices and fresh produce. Very much appreciated.

I have a bad back and I had difficulty sleeping here, but that is just me. The rest of my company had a good nights rest.

This is a lovely, family run hotel in the heart of St. Goar. The room was large, comfortable, and immaculate. Stefan is an excellent host, providing a very fine breakfast and good tips on local restaurants and sights. An added benefit is the free local train and bus pass for the surrounding area that is supplied by Hotel zur Lorelei. You can day trip to local towns including Koblenz without incurring extra transportation costs.

Clean and well run three star hotel by a very friendly and helpful couple. Breakfast is great, rooms are clean, beds comfortable and outside deck was appreciated. Nice neighborhood good restaurant and proximity to ferry and river cruise access and tickets (purchase online in advance).

Although the lack of a lift or elevator was NOT an issue for us, it could be for those with mobility issues.

Great location, great breakfast. The room was clean and in good condition, also had a nice balcony. Bottled water was waiting for us in the room - very much appreciated!

Be aware that it takes two sets of stairs (and two sets of doors) to reach the rooms. This was not a negative, I am just mentioning it for awareness, in case someone has trouble walking up the stairs.

The hotel is in the main street of Sankt Goar. It is within walking distance of everywhere you would want to go. Moreover, the owners are very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us, specially with our bicycle storage. One of the highlights is also the wonderful breakfast ( scambled eggs were the best!) ! Would totally recommend!

Breakfast with stay was delicious. Gave good reccomendations on what to see on our drive through. Short walk to river to watch boats and drink a beer on the rhine.

Didn't have as much time to state in ST Goar. Would have liked to have a half day. Nothing bad to say about hotel zur loreley. I dont know whay i even have to fill this out.
