We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Despite the older furnishings, the room was remarkably clean and well-maintained. The standout feature was the staff's exceptional politeness and professionalism. We thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop bar with its breath-taking panoramic views. Swimming Pool was also a nice relaxing spot. The breakfast spread was not only diverse but also impressively clean and delicious. The attention to cleanliness and the variety offered truly made our mornings enjoyable. The housekeeping maintained an impeccable level of service, reflecting the overall commitment to guest satisfaction. The experience left a positive and lasting impression on us.

The lobby urgently requires renovation, lacking a cosy atmosphere. In stark comparison, the lobby at Electra Metropolis, another hotel within the same brand, far surpasses the Electra Palace lobby in terms of quality and comfort. A refreshed lobby would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. We hope that the management considers this feedback and undertakes the necessary improvements to create a more inviting and modern ambiance in the lobby area, aligning with the expectations of discerning travellers.

Good service, great location. Staff very friendly and always willing to help.I didn’t catch the name of the girl who served us at breakfast most mornings but she was also the one who answered the call for room service in the morning and always attended promptly and with a friendly attitude. She is a real credit to your hotel.

Only thing we were disappointed in was that we stayed on the 7th floor and the noise from chairs being scraped across the floor from the restaurant above was very loud and could be heard until after midnight.every night. Would start again at 7am the next morning. Would not recommend this floor if you are a light sleeper.

From the time you enter the Electra Palace, you realize you have entered a world of comfort and accommodation. The staff is very solicitous and generous of spirit. It was super hot when we arrived and the air conditioning in the lobby alone, made you feel comfortable and at ease. The dining room for breakfast is all glass and has premier views of the Acropolis. It is beautiful. We opted for a room without that view, but really there is no need because you have one from this dining room where every breakfast is sumptuous beyond belief. Everything from honey right from the honeycomb to fresh greek yogurt and eggs, to pastries, spinach pie, whatever you can imagine is laid out for guests daily. The beds are comfortable and as I mentioned earlier, the air conditioning was terrific. The bathrooms are good, not all are updated, but all are comfortable and are more than what you need. I highly recommend.

There wasn't anything we really didn't like, to be honest. The service is great and the rooms are beautiful. I guess if there's room for improvement, it might be larger bathrooms, but we didn't have the best, best room in the hotel, so maybe those rooms have more modern facilities.

First, the hotel location is wonderful as it is accessible to all. We enjoyed touring Athens and shopping in Plaka. Most notable were the views from the rooftop restaurant and pool . These were quite beautiful. Waking up every morning to have breakfast overlooking the Acropolis was magnificent. The outdoor pool had the same view of The Acropolis. It was simply breathtaking to view while lounging at the pool. Dining in both the rooftop restaurant and the main level restaurant was delightful. As a Greek American, I thought the food was well prepared and authentic. The cuisine was superb as it paired local ingredients with impeccable culinary talent. We enjoyed many dinners. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were friendly and professional.

The hotel is ideally and conveniently located in walking distance to many tourist attractions, restaurants, bars and shopping areas. The amenities and facilities are suitable and comfortable. The breakfast was of a high quality. The view from the roof top restaurant is amazing. The staff at the front desk, the concierge and the bell boy were all very helpful and friendly.

The only downside of our stay was that some of the wait staff at breakfast were quite sour, a bit rude and definitely unfriendly. We experienced this every single morning. Some were great but there were two in particular who we dreaded having to interact with. Apart from that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a really great, central location! The staff were all so nice. Daily breakfast was so good and the view from the restaurant can not be beat! We decided to eat dinner at the hotel every night because the food and view were amazing! Although the pool wasn't huge, it was very nice with great lounges and a pool bar - and again, the spectacular view of the Acropolis!

The only thing was that our bathroom had a slight smell - the hotel came up quickly to remedy the situation which worked for about 8 hours. But it was totally bearable and the rest of the room was great. I highly recommend this hotel!

Good location. Breakfast was outstanding. Comfortable bed. Staff friendly and helpful.

Rooms were small and dated on floor 1. In need of renovation. Pool area overcrowded with insufficient loungers/sun protection covers. We were cramped into a very small room on the second floor upon arrival without a balcony and looked out onto a concrete wall. Once I complained we were moved to a bigger room of the same category with a large balcony overlooking greenery. I had been advised we would receive an upgraded room before we arrived to celebrate my 60th birthday. Very disappointed that this was forgotten!

The hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere. The rooms were great with comfortable beds and great walk in shower. The views from the pool and roof top restaurant are spectacular. The pool area is very comfortable. We picked this hotel for its location and swimming pool so we were very happy with our choice. I would stay here again.

The breakfast was very average..small buffet. The location is great if you have no mobility problems one of my party struggled getting up the hill from the plaka district. Hotel is close to lots of bars and shops and resturants but in a quiet location away from the madness of the centre at night. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful especially the porters.

The staff are fantastic, very friendly, helpful and professional. We really enjoyed the hospitality. The roof top restaurant is incredible with views of the acropolis second to none. Breakfast is great and variable at the roof top restaurant. The location is great. Right around the corner from everywhere you need.

The rooms are slightly outdated but otherwise very clean and functional. It did not impact our stay at all. We had booked 6 rooms and one of them was too small for my parents (in their 70s) and without a fuss, the staff helped us to another room. There is not a lot to complain about really.

This was my second visit to the Electra Palace and I brought my granddaughters (ages 14 and 15) for their first visit to Greece. I knew they would enjoy the Plaka/Monasteraki area of Athens and the hotel helped me book a private tour of the Acropolis and booked our last dinner on Lykavitos. Nikos, Dimitri, and Angeliki were amazing in helping us with every request. I love this hotel and Greece is my favorite country (lived in Athens for four years teaching). The Greek hospitality is legendary and this hotel epitomizes that ethos.

This sounds very picky, but there was only one hook for a towel in the bathroom. A towel rod would have been helpful, especially with teenaged girls who use lots of towels!!!
