The Paradise Hotel is in a fantastic location near to the harbour, Clean room and shower and the air con was very welcome as outside in Kos it was 43 degrees. We were staying at the other end of the Island for our holiday but wanted a day and night in Kos and chose Paradise Hotel as it looked to be a a good value budget Hotel for a one night stay and it certainly was! There are also some fabulous places to dine that are not over priced on the same street we called in at Mummy's Restaurant and were not disappointed wonderful home cooking. All in all a fantastic stay.

Do not go along the side streets opposite the Hotel. these streets are a little seedy we noticed this in the day so avoided them at night.

The staff were extremely helpful, with someone staying on duty until we were able to check in around 4:45am (pre arranged). They were very friendly, and made sure that we had all the necessary information to enjoy our stay The room was small, but it was scrupulously clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable few hours sleep before we had to catch our ferry in the morning. The balcony was nice too. Not a sea view or amazing cityscape, but it gave you a definite feel for the town. We would happily stay there again.

There was nothing that we didn't like!

The location is very central. Close to the port and also walking distance to taverns. There is a small market right across the street. The reception staff were very friendly and kind. Great value for money. I will come back again for short stays.

Our room had no balcony and we also didn't have a drying rack in the room to hang our wet bikinis & towels. A laundry drying rack in the room would be a good idea so that guests would not try to find (or invent) ways to hang their wet stuff. We didn't mind it though as we had a pleasant stay.

We can't recommend Paradise Hotel highly enough. The location is a stone's throw from the harbour, the price was amazing value plus Nick and Hope on reception went above and beyond. N and H made the room available in the morning so we could check in early, they provided a map and gave recommendations and printed out bus timetables and answered our endless questions, looked after our bags and could not help us enough. The hotel is also a 5 min walk from a Special gelateria..

Facilities were basic but everything you need and the price combined with the service more than makes up for that.

The kindness of the staff is excellent. They are speaking many language. They are helpful and smiling. They let us leave our baggage before check in and out. We can use the bathroom of the hotel. The location of the hotel was excellent. You can walk anywhere.

The lids of the AC in the room were broken and strapped. It was blowing only at one direction. The converter of the shower was not working properly. One bed was making noise.

I chose the property because it was near the port. It was closer than I expected and also easy to walk to the sites and the old town. Very comfortable bed, good wifi, good shower pressure in room 112. Reception staff were welcoming, accommodating and unbelievably helpful. Yiannis was amazing! Perfect place for a stopover. I would definitely stay there again.

Others have commented on the shower curtains, loo paper, tired decor, etc. They aren’t deal breakers. It’s all perfectly adequate for the price.

the shower was very small and the curtain was too short (doesn't reach the floor level) so it doesn't stop the water for coming all over, so unfortunately after taking a shower you have a completely wet bathroom

The staff is so very lovely, making the place extremely welcoming. The location is very central and the AC worked well. The breakfast isn't amazing but is very convenient to have it included. The balcony was a cute touch.

It's a very basic accommodation and showering is a bit uncomfortable because of how small the actual shower is. But the price in our case was very good so it was a small inconvenience.

Location and staff was great. The room was clean and spacious. Had everything I needed. I liked the balcony and the little fridge in the room was very convenient to have to keep the bottles of water fresh. The breakfast was also good.

The amenities included shampoo, however they had a soap that could be used for hairs and body but it was not good as shampoo. Had to buy it there. The shower head holder was broken.

Excellent location between beaches and restaurants in center. There is plenty of nice restaurants just in 3 minute walk from the hotel. Supermarket is just nearby. Rooms are cozy. We stayed in a 3-bed room with a nice small balcony. Bathroom is outdated but remember you are staying in an island not like big city hotels. Almost all hotels in Kos are 30-40 year old. There is no smell or mould in bathroom. Beds and bathroom was clean and everything functioning. If you dont expect 5 star hotel comfort but a nice location with friendly staff then Paradise is one of the perfect option.
