We stayed in a Superior Apartment with Sea View - it provided everything one needs, and the view from the balcony was great. In this apartment the noise from the quite busy street in front of the building was not relevant (probably quite different in rooms facing the street though). The staff was very nice and helpful, thank you very much ! The beach in front of the hotel is not busy at all - but it is not a classical sandy beach (but with pebbles/small rocks), so it is recommended to bring rubber shoes to go into the water. There are several quite nice (including seafood) restaurants very close by, and walking to downtown doesn't take more than 15 minutes. Free parking close by. If you want to prepare (small) meals in the kitchenette during a longer stay, bring salt, pepper, sugar etc. - otherwise you have to buy it (and sometimes there are only larger packages available in stores ...).

Nothing significant. Some salt/pepper/sugar (see comments above) would be very welcome.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting Rethymnon town. It's located right in front of Koumbes Beach, alongside other holiday homes. The suite was very new and well-maintained. We had a room on a higher floor facing the main road, which could be a bit noisy with the balcony door open. The property has a lift, making it easy to move our luggage. There's an open carpark with a small entrance leading to the beach, which you have to drive slowly to notice.

The only drawback is that you'll definitely need to drive if you want to explore Rethymnon town, as it's quite a distance to walk from the accommodation to the town center. Considering the price we paid, I think this hotel offers good value.

The property was super clean and well situated. it was a bit outside of the city center, and therefore it was super calm and not too noisy. The beach was clean and mainly empty. The cleaning ladies did an amazing job with even washing the dishes at our apartment. I would recommend friends and family to visit

Modern apartments, 20 min walk to the city center

We had side sea view, but also another side to busy road. When going to sleep we had to close window and put protective blind all the way down and still the noise from the road was heard. No fresh air circulation in the room.

Modern, very clean, check in, everything well organized. Very friendly. Arrive and feel at home. App 20 min by foot to old and beautiful town. Suits with sea view are great and privat “ garden are” is one step away from sea access.

Noting. Just small remark breakfast is ok but not at the level of property. You get it at your room. Works perfectly just recommend to make it a bit more creative . Surrounding around hotel may not be the nicest, but nothing what makes this property worse.

- We stayed at the North Coast for our honeymoon and for our surprise our bed was decorated with petals and a bottle of delicious Cretan wine awaited us on our arrival. It was such a thoughtful gesture, we are very grateful for it. - We chose a sea-facing room on the 2nd floor - if I say that the view was outstanding that is an understatement. You could see the sea from the living room and the bedroom as well..just mesmerising. - The young gentleman at the reception greeted us with a huge smile every morning and was ever so helpful. - Tanepa Restaurant is a 5 minute walk away from the hotel, a gorgeous place with mouth-watering Greek cuisine. - Local supermarkets (open until late at night), restaurants, Lidl are all within a short walking distance. - The hotel looks like a brand new building with spotlessly clean amenities. - Just to bear in mind that the suite is located around a 20 minute walk away from the old town of Rethymno and even further from Rethymnon beach so if you like to stretch your leg, this is the right hotel for you. On the positive side it is also away from the hustle and bustle, so you can have a quiet evening on the balcony if you choose so. - Room service was also exceptional, was amazing to arrive back to your accommodation and find your room flawlessly clean again.

- The hotel is in the up and coming area of the town so you will still come across rundown buildings and even homeless on your way to the old town so don't be alarmed to face reality. If you only want to see luxury hotels and restaurants then you'll need to stay at the other end of the town where Rethymnon beach is located. - The building next to the hotel is currently being refurbished and the rubbish in their garden was off-putting but that is nothing the hotel can do about, once that building is fully refurbished I'm sure it will not affect the beauty of the view from your room.

Our suite was very clean, and got cleaned daily. The view from the patio was lovely and the beach was nice. The bed was comfy and the linens were good quality - we slept comfortably. However, be aware that a hotel is going up right next door and the construction woke us up early each morning with banging. Front desk staff was very nice!

When we first arrived, there was a terrible odor - like sewage - in the suite. A plumber came and the smell mostly disappeared! However, everything felt “damp” in the suite - the dishes didn’t dry in the dish rack, our clothes felt damp…perhaps because it’s so close to the ocean? There is no coffee maker in the room, but there’s a nice little shop/bakery 20m away, where I got a morning cappuccino and grilled sandwiches for beach lunches. There is no parking, but we were directed to a lane next to the hotel under construction, which led to free parking. Know that the entrance to the hotel is very steep, if you’re wheeling bags from the car!

Glad to not be parking in town center and had a real parking place off the street. Nice next to the sea. Could walk to places to eat and some were fabulous. We could drive into town early and get parking place outside fortress-there is paid parking inside fortress. Liked Nico very much and he was quite helpful. They do clean room every day.

Not their fault, but there is construction going on next door. Shoes will get really filthy so take off shoes as soon as enter your. There was no broom and dustpan which would have been quite useful. A lot of traffic-so be sure to request quiet room facing on the sea. We selected sea view with side view-big mistake because ended up on the busy traffic road. I would have upgraded had I known.

The rooms and overal building are super clean. Furniture and beds are comfortable. We stayed in two types of rooms, the seaside side view and the city view. The city view was larger with a sitting room in addition to the bed room as well as one extra balcony. Both have a fridge, stove, sink, and washing machine. We really enjoyed our stay here, particularly because of the cleanliness.

1. The location is a 20++ minute walk to the centre. There is a bus that runs fairly frequently and tickets cost only 1 Euro and can be bought at any kiosk. 2. On several mornings there was no hot water. We were there in May. Might not be an issue in the summer months. 3. Breakfasts are delivered to the suite from a nearby Cafe. They are delicious, but cost 15 Euros per person. You can save considerably by walking 1 minute to the Cafe each morning. 4. Next door construction limited our balcony use. Should not be an issue by 2024.

I wish my own apartment were as nice as this high-quality one-bedroom apartment "hotel room" in a virtually new building. There is even a washing machine, and there is a general store two minutes walk away to get supplies for cooking. The building is on the beach (albeit a very narrow beach), and close to the bus station (which is why I selected it).

I couldn't fully appreciate the beachside location as my apartment was on the side of the somewhat busy road, but that was anticipated and incorporated in the price. There was little traffic at night anyway. To get to the old town of Rethymno would be a bit of a walk, but on the other hand there is a bit more breathing room away from the crowds.
