A real budget accommodation for those who want to stay in a nice, cultured place in a good part of the city. I have returned to this place because nothing beats it when you look at the price. The first picture you might get might leave the impression of a run-down dormitory but this is only because the corridors have old rugs... The actual room is neat, cleaned, full of light and has new beds. The reception is 0/24. The shared bathrooms are very recently renovated and the shower cabins look like in a nice hotel. Downstairs there is a canteen where you can get coffee and simple sandwiches. The radiator gave a very comfy warm when the night got chilly. Walking distance from Keleti railway station - or 2 bus stops. I like to come here because if I only need a bed for the night, I don't want to give out a fortune but I'm too old to share room with strangers and here I get my privacy :) There are electric plugs next to the beds and each bed has a reading light.

It would be neat if the rooms had a little mirror if you want to get ready. For the rooms with the shared bathrooms, I wish a big bath towel would be provided, not only a hand towel... Some of the walls and bedlinen would need some further attention. But all in all I have nothing to complain about, you get what you pay for and my expectations are always met here.

The receptionist is always there to greet you and hand out the keys. Although the location is quite far away from the center, it was nice for us to take a good walk every day and observe the Budapest neighborhood and surroundings beyond the center. And a huge city park nearby is a brilliant place to visit with lots of culture and sports activities! Rooms and bathrooms are renovated and look brand new!

One of male showers had a slight smell of urine. Glad there was another one which was my daily choice.

I liked the fact that the room I had was good value for money and clean. It was also very quiet at night time and, after a day out walking and seeing the sights of the old city, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax. There are buses just around the corner that link to the city centre, and the nearest Metro is not far. The shuttle service the hotel uses is very reliable. The hotel staff will either book up a transfer with them beforehand or customers can do it themselves from an easily located desk at the airport. I found the wi-fi in the room was quite fast and always usable.

Good, clean, light, spacious rooms. Very good value for money. Great showers, generous hot water, like at a spa. There's also a very good, affordable, buffet / cafeteria downstairs, with a variable menu, drinks etc. There's also a large kitchen with tables for self-servicing, with microwave, refrigerators and TV. Quiet area, yet with bus stop with frequent buses close by.

For the price offerred, everything was very good.

24 hr reception with pleasant and helpful receptionists. Early check-in and free luggage storage before/after check-in/out. Toilets and showers on the 3rd floor were like in a ***** hotel. Historical building next to the church in a quiet location in a neihbourhood full of historical villas with interesting architecture. Close to the Keleti railway station (2 bus stops, about 12-15 minutes walk).

The bed, pillow and sheets, as well as lacking esthetics of walls etc. of course reflected that this is a low-cost accommodation facility, but I prefer this over to paying more money for something that is not essential for us who come to our rooms just to sleep.

Economical outfit, but very good value for money. Everything necessary is available, rooms are spacious. Rooms face quiet courtyard or surroundings, with fresh air. Wifi is very good. Communal bathrooms/showers have been very nicely renovated and are excellent, with spa-type showers with very good water flow. There's a bus stop close by with several buses going in both directions. Further up the street there's another bus stop with an M bus going crossways even directly to Szechenyi Baths and the Nyugati Station area. Bottled water and drinks are available at the reception. Hotel was very accommodating with late checkout.

Electric sockets and the window (closing fixture) in the room were a bit dilapidated. An added chair or other additional sitting facility would have been good in the room. Room walls are quite thin, so that sounds/conversations from next door can be quite audible.

Basic but comfortable stay decently close to the Keleti train station. The bathrooms were always available and were always clean, the reception was also always available and everyone there was very courteous and spoke excellent English.

The floor in the room could have been cleaner, there was dust, crumbs and hair left over from previous stays.

I am giving a good score mostly because this is a very cheap accommodation. It is not for the faint hearted, but if you just want 4 walls and a ceiling, it is perfect. It is a bit of a run-down dormitory. But everything necessary is new and good enough -- the mattress seemed new enough and the bathrooms on the corridors are actually beautifully renovated. The location is amazing and my view was very pretty. The wifi worked well. I always wary of bed bugs due to past bad experience but I left the place bed-bug free!!! The mattress was quite hard which was to my liking because soft mattresses make my back ache. The reception is 0-24 and the rooms are cheap so be ready to all kinds of folk arriving and roaming around the corridors anytime in the night. I will continue to keep using this place as a cheap night's sleep.

Small room, if you get the room without the restroom there isn't a sink. It is all very basic - two beds, some shelves and a tiny desk. But I don't want to complain, I got what I paid for and I would be going back. There was a bit of a sour smell in the room, possibly some harsh cleaning material?

For the price, this was a great stay. The location was great, so close to the park and public transportation. Clean and fresh bathrooms. Fan in a room. Quiet.
