Great location just on the edge of District VII (Jewish quarter) with easy access to dining and public transport within 500m and access to tourist activities in the surrounding 2 km. Quite side-street, extremely comfortable bed, fast WIFI, excellent wellness centre (gym, massage, jacuzzi and sauna). Great reception staff. Gym is open 24 hours, bar open from 3 pm to 10 pm (drinks only, no food). More designed for business travellers or couples who are happy for either a quiet hotel or to do their partying off-site.

While there was plenty for breakfast, the western style items (eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans) were all very cold - like they had been cooked at 7 am and then just left to cool for the next several hours. The 'balcony room with city views' had a small balcony you could walk out on but not sit on, and looked down into the quite side street. There were no 'city views' unless looking at building opposite the hotel is considered a 'city view' because you are in the city.

I found all the amenities very good and really enjoyed the breakfasts. Service was very good as well. For my stay the location was also very much ideal and gave very east access to the Budapest centre. Staff were all very kind, available at all times and spoke excellent English.

I found the layout of the building a bit odd. I was able to find my way around fine but it is not an intuitive building to walk around in, somewhat disorientating. For the beds I would have prefer a single blanket instead of two smaller blankets; for taller people like myself the single blanket felt rather small.

-Professional and friendly staff, everyone was helpful. -Excellent location of the hotel, in an ideal place for exploring Budapest. -Clean room, comfortable bed. -Excellent price-quality ratio. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

-The only minor complaint is for the spa area. Sometimes there were no towels, the water pressure in the showers was often bad, sometimes without hot water, and it happened that some people entered the jacuzzi without showering, which is the basis of all hygiene. However, the SPA was clean, and it was really pleasant after long walks. Also, the gym is not that functional, but you can certainly do solid training in it.

The location of the hotel is ideal for working around the inner part of Pest. Near the Jewish area, the Museum and Kalvin Square and the associated transport links there. The room was a good size, the bed comfortable. The breakfast had a good range of food and always plenty of fruit available. The staff were very diligent at breakfast, welcoming and hard working. When it was crowded in that breakfast space they needed to be so.

The door frame was springing off on one side of my entrance to my bathroom. Early October was still unusually hot, but the hotel had switched off the aircon as nights were getting cooler-this meant that my room was very hot as I was up on the 8th floor. I was not the only guest who found the rooms were too hot. The carpets were showing signs of wear in many parts of the building. The chairs in the room were not comfortable with their plastic backs, I think a hotel like this should have better furniture in the rooms.

We spent a few days here and have some observations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but it would be even better if showers were available instead of bathtubs - that would be more practical. The breakfasts were delicious and varied, which certainly added charm to our stay.

Unfortunately, I must note that the rooms had insufficient light, which was sometimes a bit inconvenient. The price for the stay was quite high compared to the offered standard. As for the SPA, it was a bit disappointing. The jacuzzi was dirty, and the sauna temperature was rather low, limiting the enjoyment of these amenities.

quite a good location however the street was a bit shady. renovated facility. very nice breakfast (good selection).

quite a shady street, however in a good location. The whole facility after renovation but the room itself and the floor (maybe because of the price level) was below 4-star level. Also, the carpet's cleanliness was a bit questionable.

I really liked the location. It's very central and has a lot of good cafes around it. I also liked the staff and the overall experience at the hotel. If you're looking for something quiet, not luxury, but a really good 4 star experience, then this hotel is for you.

House keeping does not always do a 10/10 job. I'd give them 7 or 8. They don't seem to truly clean up thoroughly , but rather replace towels and make the bed. Sometimes I felt the room could be cleaned up more thoroughly.

The location is close to metro stations (Astoria and Kalvin) and bus stops (the Airport Shuttle 100E). A pretty quiet neighborhood even though the hotel is located in the heart of the city. Nice restaurants and shops are available in every direction within walking distance (the famous New York Cafe is a 7-10 minute walk). Breakfast is rich, fresh, and tasty suited to almost everyone's liking. Staff are professional and yet friendly while taking care of your requests. Miss Refika, who happens to be a trainee at the Reception desk, was extremely helpful both while checking in and checking out in meeting our kind requests. What I liked the most was the window which could be opened to get fresh air and to listen to the sound of falling rain through the night which facilitated sleeping.

The mattress of the double bed was highly deformed towards the sides, and thus not very comfortable. But the pillows were just great. Even though the room was cleaned properly every day, we had to ask the cleaning staff to change the towels, which we had left on the chair and on the bed. I believe you have to leave them on the bathroom floor. That's how they understand that you want them to be changed with fresh ones. There is a small refrigerator in the room, which is empty. A bottle of water would be nice, at least upon arrival from a long way.

Close proximity to the city for walking everywhere if you choose . Eg - it's a steady walk through the city to Parliament within 30 minutes. Tram lines and all main bus routes are within 5 minutes away from the hotel. Very pleasant staff and a modern clean hotel. Large clean bedroom serviced daily with towels and toiletries etc. . Good choice at breakfast with a good time frame to suit all . Spa facilities were well maintained and had a relaxing feel . We would recommend this hotel to others and we would stay ourselves again if in the city.

Our only issue was the cost from booking.com differed from actual cost but the hotel manager was quick to deal with the matter and raised a credit on my card Please note when paying at the hotel costs are only taken in local currency and not in euros as this site states.

- The location is great and you are at around 10 mins walk distance from any important attraction. - A private parking is near the hotel and it costs around 12k HUF for a 4day vacation. - Near metro station. - 24h shops around the corner. Great coffee place around the corner. - Helpful stuff and eager to help with anything they can. - Breakfast good and has enough products for everybody - it gets refills very often.

- The standard rooms are quite small compared to normal hotels. You have enough space to be comfortable though. - Some improvements are required in the bathroom: toilet set needs to be changed as it is a little bit worn (yellow mostly), the shower head was broken and sprayed water everywhere, etc.
