This is the second time we've been here and it's in a great location, the room was quite small, but clean. We stayed for 4 nights, but in one of them they forgot to change the towels. The breakfast was ok, pretty variate.

The cleaning service is not so great, they didn't change the used glass and the biggest problem was that the maids were sick and coughing all over the rooms and didn't use a mask so i got sick from them.

I choose this hotel because it has a great location, very close to the M3 underground and the 4-6 tramline, both essential to reach great places in the city central. The quality of the breakfast was good, I wish we had a better variety of Hungarian dishes but understandably it was a better fit for international guests.

I think the hotel would need some refurbishment, especially considering the carpets both in the rooms and the communal areas. I also had a bit of a bad experience with the cleaners, who did not ever acknowledge my presence and appeared rather grumpy. To give an example, on our last morning at the hotel, they were having loud personal conversations at our door, including couple swear words which made me feel uncomfortable. Also when we were leaving the room with 3 heavy luggage, they did not bother to move the trolley which was right in front of our door, blocking the corridor. They just simply continued the loud conversation like nothing happened. I would also advise to leave a bit more space between the tables at breakfast, it felt a bit too crowded.

Hotel was fantastic. Room was as spacious as you need for two people and very clean. The location was slightly outside of the main centre, which is what I expected, although only a 10 minute walk to a tram or underground station. Plenty of nice cafes nearby for breakfast or brunch too.

The only con I have was that our original room was adjoining to another room with only a locked door in both rooms separating each room, we could hear everyrthing in the next room, we were lucky that the cleaners were in the room next to us as we checked in as we heard this immediately. This is not good for privacy. I let the staff know straightaway that I was unhappy with this and they were able to find me a room that was self contained and not connected to another. I think these adjoining rooms should be renovated so that the doors are replaced and a wall put in place to ensure privacy for all guests. Apart from this, everything else was perfect.

Despite small, the rooms are ideal for a business stay. There is no useless area and amenities you wont be using. But you do have all that is needed. Bathroom was the best part, almost new with quality fixtures .Lobby isn't big. Few steps from the elevator and you'll find yourself in a nice, quiet street but with interesting cafes and restaurants. Staff was very warm and welcoming.

The room smelled a bit on tobacco but the bed linens were neat. A/C was noisy. Garage requires careful getting in and out but inside it is better organized. What I didn't really like is the breakfast. Not the breakfast as it is, but the fact I couldn't preorder it via Booking , I had instead to register for it on spot, and had to pay in cash. Very weird, as all other services there can be paid with card including the garage, lobby drinks etc.And that breakfast was not cheap for what you get.

Kind and helpful staff. Water and Coffee machine with capsules in the room. Confortable bed.

Room and bathroom were small, bit crowded, and the heating was not sufficient. Parking is expensive.

Everything was good. Room was clean, it was comfortable to stay for 2 nights. Location is good, different caffes really are next to the hotel. Everyday the towels were changed and everyday cleaning was ok. We had reservation wihout breakfast, but we ordered and it was really delisious and enough different items. The staff was very kind. We could also keep our luggage at the reception after check out till our car arrived to pick up us.

Maybe the only thing what can be done : moscito nets. Because not possible to keep windows open, and our additional request was 2 seperate beds, but when we arrived there was 1 big bed, we asked from reception to seperate it, and it was agreed but not done :( so it was not comfortable to sleep together with my daughter :(, but for 2 nights we could survive.

Rooms are not just large, but spacious. It's a quiet residential neighbourhood, close to public transport to access everything in the city. Nearby, as I discovered, are Persian, Mexican, Vietnamese (across the street), Thai (kind of, but nearly authentic), and of course pubs, bakeries, bistros, pizza. Breakfasts at the hotel might cost you an extra €10, in which case it's not worth it - it's pretty standard hotel fare, adequate and filling but far from great. A big plus - the window can be opened to have fresh cool air.

Well, while the rooms (or at least the room I was in) are spacious, there's ridiculously little space in the passage between the end of the beds and the tv hanging on the wall - this needs sidling through sideways. For anyone obese or handicapped, this could be a real challenge. Also the walls could benefit from sound insulation. Neither of these negatives are enough to preclude my rebooking for a work visit to Budapest in September - the location more than makes up for these.

I stayed at Leonardo in Budapest multiple times over the years, and I like the rooms on the top 2 floors, as they are quiet and have a great city view. The area developed very much, and despite not being extremely central, there are many new bakeries, restaurants and craft bier pubs. A few steps away from the tram 4-6, and the city centre is in a 20 min walk range.

Not all the staff members are very professional. Ladies at the front desk were often on their phones and not promptly attending to customers.

Junior Suite - Room was large and clean

Had emailed through booking.com to ask for the sofa bed to be made up for our daughter, which was confirmed. However on arrival this had not been done and the info had not got through. It was resolved immediately though by housekeeping. The sofa bed was a small single, suitable perhaps for a small child, but not our adult daughter, who is actually petite! Also it was a very hard surface and there was plenty of room for a larger sofa bed. The room was on the cool side, not able to change the temperature on the room radiator; towel rad in bathroom also cold for the whole stay and the aircon not working. The weather was cold and wet the whole stay so it would’ve been nice to be in a warm, cosy room!
