We were upgraded to Deluxe King room, which was a very pleasant surprise for us, thank you! The room was clean and modern, we had everything we needed for a weekend. The receptionists were really nice and spoke perfect English.

I totally agree with all of those complaints about breakfast. I think the breakfast in Verdi Hotel is appropriate for maybe a 3* hotel, but not for 4* hotel. Mediocre variety of foods. No omelets because of pandemics (even though at the time of our visit, there were no restrictions because of covid). Cereals of the cheapest brands. Almost no veggies. The worst thing about breakfast was the staff - we could notice only 2 ladies, without any uniforms, dressed like any other guest, in flip-flops (!). Almost no cleaning of tables during breakfast, so we ended up eating in the middle of mess. Service like this is not a standard in 4* hotel, it was very weird and unpleasant.

The hotel is clean, in a nice location, only half an hour's walk from the center. The beds are comfortable.Breakfast quite satisfactory. For this price and more than expected. It was just a little short of an excellent rating.

Only one iron for clothes in the hotel. The gym is poorly equipped There are no disposable slippers in the room. The staff should have been a little more friendly. When we went to the center, there were empty beer cans on the table in the lobby. Upon return after 4 hours they were in the same place. Likewise, the garbage bag that was at the reception was also there in the morning. What do cleaners do? After leaving the hotel, I remembered that I had forgotten my T-shirt in the room's closet I immediately informed the receptionists, who were kind and recommended sending me an e-mail. No one answered my email. The guy from the daughter was in Budapest, he went to the hotel and asked for my shirt, he got it. What if he hadn't come to pick her up in person?

I've booked 2 nights at this hotel. I'm very satisfied with everything. Initially, my partner and I was assign a smaller room without a balcony than we expected. However, when my girlfriend asked the reception lady if there was any chance of getting a larger room with a balcony, she was very kind and immediately moved us to another room, fulfilling our request brilliantly. The breakfast was amazing, the chef was very professional and exceptionally kind. He came to our table and asked, 'I can make you anything you want, guys.' He has a really warm hearth.

I really liked that the hotel was close to major transport hubs and it was a clean hotel. Staff was nice. Accommodated my request for a quiet room.

If I need to include something here, I would include these below. Room was not as large as a similar 4-star hotel’s with the same price, but there was still enough room. Breakfast was good, but selection could have been better. They tried to charge me with city tax, although price already included it. They admitted their mistake, so no harm was done. All in all the hotel was nice! These should not be ‘showstopper’ next time I’m in Budapest!

Not my first stay in the hotel, but good as always. Well located, along the metro line 4, easy to access famous landmarks. Staff is always nice and friendly, room is clean, comfy (and warm during winter time), bathroom is also clean. Did not try breakfast, no input on that.

My only negative is that the internet does not seem to be too secure (I am not a specialist, but it is a public wifi, not password protected). I did not have to work during my stay, but I am also unsure if I would actually do so.

Big crowd and waiting time for check in (cca 30-45min). They should improve this process to avoid 5 min check in per guest. Sound insulation in rooms should be better. Brekfast should be improved - this type of hotel and this price require much better brekfast

the room had a king size bed, comfy, good breakfast options, good location - we walked to all sightseeing spots we came to Budapest for. good experience overall. a bonus: the Spanish guy at the breakfast buffet saved the day with his involvement, because he had a massive crowd to attend (a few dozens of Israelis fleeing the starting war) that overwhelmed the Sunday client list. Great value for money, the rooms are big and comfortable. The receptionists are very friendly – I send my regards to the red-haired lady. The rooms are cleaned daily, however when I checked in the floors were dirty. Breakfast is good, I'd prefer better coffee though.

Laundry service didn't work, the bar & restaurant didn't work. Thermostat is shining brightly at night, no way to turn the backlight off.

The Bed was very comfortable, the stuff was very nice & friendly. We arrived very late, but it wasn’t a problem as there is a 24h reception. The room was very clean.

One thing the hotel can work on is the breakfast. They told us the breakfast is until 10 am, but as we came at 9:20 there was no milk, just a little bit of scrambled eggs left and no stuff we could tell them to bring anything of this. I would also be happy if there would be a few more choices for the breakfast
