The guesthouse is recently renovated, both kitchen and bathroom were super modern an spacious. We shared a bathroom with only one other room, and never encountered the other guests. Host was very kind upon arrival even though we were a bit early. Nice location as well, close to a supermarket and well situated for an evening walk along the harbour.

Our room was very small, next to the bed and sink we rarely had space to lay open our suitcases, let alone dry our clothes. But you get what you pay for, of course, I believe the size of the room was indicated in the booking.

Exceptionally clean, beds very comfortable and bathroom was large, clean and updated. Although we didn’t have a chance to use it, the kitchen was large and looked well stocked. Restaurants nearby.

Rooms are on the small side. Don’t have much room to move about once you have a couple carryon suitcases and daypacks in it. We were only there one night so it was fine, but it would be a pretty small space for more than that - as there really isn’t any other common place to sit other than the kitchen.

This is a beautiful guesthouse. The interior seems to have been updated recently and it looks even better than the photos. The exterior is currently being updated. Everything was spotless. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. You cannot beat the location.

The bathroom access can be a little tricky since three rooms share one bathroom. I had a bit of a bathroom monopolizer in the room next to me, but thankfully the one downstairs was always available. It is helpful to have a small sink in the bedroom.

The room was comfortable and clean. We were very grateful for the kitchenette within the room that had a coffee pot, coffee, microwave, fridge, dishes, etc. It was perfect for our needs. We did very well with a family of four. We spent very little time in the room -- just to clean up and sleep before heading out for adventures. We had a nice view out the window to the harbor. We did not use the common area at the guesthouse.

I wish it had been a better value, but I understand supply and demand. The property was just what we needed -- a clean, comfortable place to rest. My kids reported that the sofa bed was very firm. Thank you for a very nice stay!

Nice, new renovated room (we stayed in the apartment). We stayed with 4 persons there. Everything clean and a parking space in front of the apartment. We also used the kitchen in the first floor. There is also a terrace, but we could not use it because of the weather. The location is nice, close to the Harbour.

For 4 adults (family) it's quite small. Unfortunately no cooking plate in the apartment. We went to the group kitchen in the first floor, what is a great kitchen. So it was okay for us.

Was upgraded to private bathroom. Beautiful scenery. Good location.

Reception for check-in was not obvious. Many buildings when you pull in. After checking in, we had been upgraded (which was very nice) but then had to drive an additional 6km to another set of buildings. Thankfully, it wasn't dark because it really feels like you're in the middle of nowhere.

Rooms were clean and ready when we arrived. The follow-up instructions were timely and accurate. No problems checking in. Easy access to all the restaurants.

They were preparing to paint and the scaffolding was set-up around one side of the building. Although not a problem nor inconvenient. Understand that they would like to put on a new coat of paint to refresh the building.

The place is cozy, clean, and in walking distance from everywhere! Fun to see the harbor from our window too! We recommend Viking Cafe for breakfast and Z Bistro had THE BEST LOBSTER EVER! There’s a full kitchen for anyone eating in. These are the best shared bathrooms (and honestly better than our private bathroom at one stay) in all of Iceland!

Good location, easy to find and very close to good restaurants. The whole building is renovated. Kitchen has good equipment. Bathroom is modern. Very good communication with owner before my arrival - i recieved all instruction on mail.

My room was really really small (less than 10 sq.),cso that my wife and I had no place to put our luggage and to move around.

Newly renovated, very nice, modern, comfortable, state of the art coffee machine and coffee (took a little time to figure it out 😄. Great location right in front of the port, very nice view. Studio with bed and pull out couch, an additional couch, kitchen table, fully equipped kitchen. We were 2 couples so little tight but comfortable nevertheless.
