So peaceful! It had everything I would need, without me even knowing it. I was in cabin #1 and the bunkbeds I thought were going to be small were a full/queen, everything in there was clean and they even had a french press with fresh ground coffee for me to make in the AM -as well as some teas. The wind was nuts the day I arrived so I was stoked to get to a safe haven, the views were glorious and it was the perfect little cabin to help me feel safe. The wind was so strong the entire cabin was shaking but I found it oddly adorable and comforting because the structure/bones were quite strong and the energy just felt so nice :) I slept so well and check in/check out was a breeze. I was alone and have been touring all the nature baths on island so I didn’t have to use any hot water/shower, but the toilet and kitchen had everything.
The only thing I have issues with is unsecured wifi networks. It’s my own thing but that is literally all I had issues with so I didn’t use it. It is great that they offer free wifi, I simply wouldn’t log on cause networks that don’t require passwords sketch me out.

So it is a small and simple cabin with all the necessities. The panoramic view was incredible - multiple glaciers in sight was just beautiful. But it was safe and quiet my boys loved running around jumping on the trampoline and played with some other kids staying as well. The staff was nice and I was desperate to have laundry done and she charged $20 US for 3 hours but was totally worth it (in the middle of nowhere).
You do need to plan how to shower (get wet, Turn off water, soap over, rinse off) if you are a family as limited hot water but realised not unusual for cabins in this area.

The cabin was very cute, delivering a lot of privacy out in the country and a distance away from the nearest cabin. It was a bit more rustic than some of our other accommodations, but that really added to its charm. The room had plenty of space for three of us, providing multiple options for sleeping arrangements. We didn't ever interact with our see any staff, but our check-in/ checkout went seamlessly. There were Adirondack chairs set up to view the glacier in the distance, three were horses nearby, and a football/ soccer net and ball a well as a trampoline that helped my son blow off some steam.
The bathroom floor got quite wet while showering and it was a bit of effort to use the provided squeegee to remove the water. It wasn't a big deal, just a little inconvenient.

The view of the mountains and two glacial tongues was stunning. Nothing but farmland separates the cabins from the hills. The kitchen area is tiny but sufficient for a short stay. Although some reviews complain about the lack of sufficient hot water, we read their posted information and had no trouble at all with hot water.
Getting into the top bunk proved impossible for either of us. The rails on the ladder are too far apart for a short, middle-aged woman to climb up. Instead, my friend slept on the sofa, and I crawled awkwardly into the bottom bunk.

Lambhus cabins were amazing! We loved the cozy double bunks which allowed our family of 4 enough sleeping space to still enjoy the table and sofa. We ate a few meals in the cabin and the kitchenette was perfect! We absolutely loved waking up and looking out the window to see the horses in the pasture, and the glacial outlets across the field! Our two boys had so much fun with the trampoline, frisbee golf basket, soccer field and swing set! We wish we could have stayed longer!
Nothing- it was wonderful!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this location. We loved waking up early in the morning to see the horses on site. The views were amazing, you could look out the window and see the mountains and glacier in the distance. The only thing that we would recommend to other travelers to this location is to go to a grocery store before arriving to make meals on site. They provide you with pots and pans for cooking in the mini kitchen in the cabins. There are no restaurants or grocery stores nearby.

It was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend this place. Beautiful cabins, beautiful landscape and very kid friendly with an area for them to play when there is good weather. The cabin is well equipped and clean, we were 5 for a studio cabin, we were warned it might be tight so we were ready for a small space, however the space was definitely sufficient for 4 adults and one child, since we were most of the time out and about exploring. Didn’t meet the staff because the place is this organised and efficient, however they were very fast to reply and accommodating. Amazing stay!

The location is fantastic. Although they are on the horizon, one can see several glaciers and the ice cap. Beautiful light at sunset.
The cabins are very clean and modern. The only negative aspect was the construction of our bed: It was a bunkbed in a nook between the outer wall and the inner wall. One has to crawl in the foot/head of the bed and do a u-turn and then lie down to get your head towards the open end of the nook.

Amazing views of the glacier! Located perfectly amidst a lot of viewpoints and places to visit in Eastern Iceland and right on the route around Iceland but away from the road. Nice rural surroundings with a lot of outdoor space. A trampoline, swing and soccer field for children. The cabin is not very big but definitely very cosy and welcoming. Funny local brewery with simple restaurant and entertainment next door (Jon Riki).
Pillows could be better and it is difficult to get in and out the bunkbed because of steep stairs and low ceiling but that’s just minor stuff.

Fantastic location, with a beautiful view of the glacier. Our cabin overlooked a little pond. It was tiny, but cosy. The bed was too small for two; my husband ended up using the pullout couch. This cabin is probably better suited to younger people. Great value for four people, since there are two bunk beds and a sofa bed. Very close to the Ring road, and it would be a good base for exploring the area.
