Very easy instructions to get access code, to store luggage on site and check out. The view from the apartment was great for sunrise and sunset, the facilities available was everything you can need during a stay, easy to contact the host company for things like extra towels if needed. the apartment is exceptionally clean, warm, and has all the kitchen equipment to cook. Very spacious for a family of 4 (we had a 2 bed apartment, with a sofa bed in the living room which was very comfortable). Personally thought it was great value for money and if I'm back in Reykjavik, I will look to book with them again. The company also had a webpage that explains how to use the hob/induction stove or the machines in the house as some of them were different to how it is in my country. Thought this was very helpful! We visited in April when it was cold outside and we could control the heat in the apartment really well. The closed window balcony was lovely to have a cup of tea in, after a long day out. There's a Large Bonus store within 1km walking distance. Almost all tours pick up and drop from bus stop 12 right outside this place, so convenient for tourists.

Nothing really, stay was exceptionally comfortable. No complaints.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with a balcony. The property was very well thought out. The master bedroom had a walk in wardrobe and en suite bathroom with TV. The smaller bedroom had 2 single beds and a rack whilst the sofa bed in the living room was exceptionally uncomfortable. The layout of the kitchen was amazing and everything was so straight forward to use. Staff were exceptionally accommodating to us and very easy to reach at all times and took their time to help us when we were struggling to get the access codes for the apartment. Didn’t use the balcony as much due to weather but it was very comfy and had a nice view of the park outside which was very pretty when it snowed. Also the house has floor heating so we were NEVER cold!

We enjoyed everything! I think the only thing we struggled with was the access codes and understanding which ones to use but other than that this trip and stay was perfect!

Spacious apartment. Great having a washer / dryer in unit. Not too far a walk from the areas one wants to visit in Reykjavik, but it'll be a bit further away. About 30 minute walk or so. Right near the #12 bus stop where you can get picked up for tours.

Instructions on website were incorrect on code to luggage storage room. Had to call their number early in the am to clarify what it was.

Beds were super comfortable, close to the city centre but no night time noise there. Handy to have the carpark under the building. Kitchen was good and liked having washing machine.

The couch was not very comfortable, looks better than it feels but it was okay.

This apartment was perfect for our trip! We really loved it! The apartment is modern and has everything you might need from kettle/toaster to washing machine and drier! Literally anything you might need! Checking in and out was also a breeze as you get your codes in a text and everything is super easy from there. We were also able to leave our luggage in a storage area after checkout and walk around Reykjavík a little longer before our flight. The location is perfect! Bus stop 12 is just 2 minutes away so very convenient for all excursions and airport pickups. Honestly couldn’t fault it and will definitely be returning!

It was spacious modern, well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer. Easy to find parking on the main roads. Airport transfer bus stops just infront of the property. Sif is right next to the foss hotel. There are some walkable food options around the area including the food hall at Hlemmur. SIF is a self catering apartment so while I did not meet any staff, they were easy to contact and very helpful in letting us know where we could get fresh towels or pillows at the property.

Unfortunately my apartment was on the ground floor so I didn’t get a view of the ocean . Nonetheless, it was still private, quiet and pleasant. It is not in the city centre but you can get to centre easily by driving 10mins or less so I would still recommend this place.

the apartment is very close to a big hotel so it was possible to take breakfast and dinner there. It is not so close to the city if it is windy and raining. Otherwise it was very good location. It was difficult for our taxi to found the place. Easy to say "beside the hotel xxx". instead we went around almost a half our. Furniture was simple, ikea style, but comfortable. The shower floor was slippy after the use of shampoo. The price could be little lower for the kind of facilities. It was a bus-stop just a minute from the apartment there all the tourist transportation pick up the tourist. that was good!

A better explanation for the address. the picture was not easy, but we arrive at night so maybe it was that.

2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with balcony was perfect for our family of 6 adults! Location was great - close to Bus Stop #12 for tour pickups, close to public bus for transportation elsewhere, easy walk to restaurants and grocery stores. Having the laundry in-unit was really handy. Used luggage storage for early arrival before check-in and host allowed check-in an hour early. Floors were heated and apartment was warm. Property was modern and clean and wi-fi worked well. We were able to drink the pure Iceland tap water! Host responded promptly when fire alarm went off in another unit causing elevators and doors to stop working.

Minor inconveniences (we didn't contact host): no toilet paper holder in master bathroom (perhaps a self-standing one would work as there was no place to attach to a wall); missing dispenser for shampoo, but we found shampoo bottle in cabinet. Re the apartment layout - the master closet was quite large, but seems like it could have been a little smaller to make the master bathroom a little bigger - tight squeeze opening the bathroom door. Also, 2nd bedroom was quite small - no real closet or room for suitcases (we left them in the living room).

We booked the 2-bedroom deluxe. The property was perfect. It was huge! The bedrooms were perfectly sized, ample closet space for all our items, including large closets in the foyer for jackets, hats, boots etc. The kitchen was stocked with everything we’d need. The dining area was large and perfectly positioned to enjoy the gorgeous view of the pacific and the mountains. The bathrooms were very clean and new. The location was perfect - the building is right above bus stop # 12 - where practically 99% of all tours do their pickup! So all we had to do was walk down and grab our tour bus! Taxis are easy to call when you want to go elsewhere. All markets and stores are close by and the location is central to all attractions. The building isn’t actively staffed, so all communication is remote. However, it doesn’t feel that way because the staff are very communicative and responsive - within minutes! Just message them and they’ll respond right away. The check in process was smooth and quick (self check-in). Everything worked efficiently like it was supposed to. We will definitely return to Sif apartments in Reykjavik when we visit Iceland again! Thank you!

Great location. The apartment has a nice size and all amenities you may need, it also has heated floors. The people managing the place reply very quickly. There is a storage in the basement where you can keep your luggage after checkout and where basics are available, such as new towels, bed linen, toilet paper.

I made sure before arrival that we will have 2 separate beds prepared, but when we arrived we had them made into a one double bed. Also, although the apartment is nice and has everything you need it is quite worn out here and there (walls, couch). A bed pillow also felt uncomfortable to me for certain reason, although my friend didn't complain about it. Final point - on our 2nd day we were waken up with a fire alarm located in our living room. Obviously for no reason, it stopped when I opened the windows, but the manager of the apartment apologised it was neighbours who were cooking and set it off. The system is certainly faulty if our alarm is on because of the neighbours cooking.
