This is a clean hotel with a friendly, helpful staff. It is good value for the location close to the tourist areas. There is a Netto supermarket not far away.
The bathroom light is not very bright. Also, the water flowed all over the bathroom floor when I took a shower. Couldn’t they put a bigger lip on the enclosure to prevent that?

the staffs were very supportive, and the breakfast was brilliant! also the location is fantastic which is just on the side of Bus13 pick up point.
I booked on August with the price of around 90Euro, but my flight was cancelled due to the sever weather, I had to change my booking. Then I have to pay the new price which was showing on that day (around 160Euro). The staff told me its automatically from the system, they can do nothing... Of course I think the staff has done their best, but if you cannot keep the price which showed while you were booking in advance, then what's the point to plan and book the hotel much in advance. And for 160Euro I could have booked a much better hotel at the first place...

Spotless room/bathroom. Amazing breakfast spread, well worth the 18Euro or so since the city is so pricey. Super-friendly staff, always smiling, especially at breakfast and the lovely Olga at the front desk. Great location at the far end of the shopping/restaurant street. Last pickup and first dropoff for tours....Had a nice sitting room in the lobby, but not much to choose from other than bottled drinks. Wifi good. Reasonable price for the room, which was small but easy. Close to major bus station and hotel tour stop #13 for convenience for excursions.
The room was a bit small, but ok for the price. It was next to the elevator shaft, so a bit noisy with the sound of the cable pulling up/down, close to the stairwell so a bunch of rowdies headed for their flight affected quality sleep. No real view of anything. I always want hotels to highlight how to get around, so they could stand to update the description w proximity to tourbus pickups/airport shuttle dropoff sites on the hotel website.

This hotel was situated minutes from the main shopping street in Reykjavik, and adjacent to a bus stop for tour pick-ups and airport drop-offs. The staff were extremely helpful at all times, spoke excellent English, and the desk was attended 24/7. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast (although pricey like everything in Iceland) was superb. I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast.

Nice stay in the Center of Reykjavik. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very attentive and nice. We had a kettle and tea and coffee in the room. Even though we had a room on the first floor, it was still quiet. Bus from the bus station (if you take the bus from the airport, it first brings you to the bus station and you take another bus to the city there) stops 1 min walking distance from the hotel.
Be prepared that the hot water coming from the tap is with smell of sulfur. It was ok to wash the body but not very pleasant for brushing the teeth. The furniture in the room is a bit old but good.

My room was at the end of the corridor with a view of the street. It was nice to have and open a window. Breakfast each morning was pleasant in the restaurant downstairs. Food selection/variety catered for all nationalities. All staff were polite and helpful. I enjoyed my stay, thank you.
Groups allocated multiple rooms were inconsiderate/noisy when arriving departing the hotel. Obviously the hotel has little control over this.

The room had everything I needed in a compact space -- comfortable bed and pillows, desk and chair, storage closet, easy chair, and private bathroom. The lighting was good. The staff were very helpful, even providing me with a small refrigerator, as I was isolating there for 5 days due to Covid. The breakfast buffet was great, in a spacious room so I could go down late when it was uncrowded and isolate in a corner. A good location, it was an easy walk to the waterfront and to restaurants for takeout.
It's not unique to this hotel by any means, but I don't particularly like the showers without a separation for the floor, so the entire bathroom floor gets wet. The cleaning staff would exchange the soaking floor mat for a clean one, though.

Hotel room was quite basic but perfect for a long weekend trip where not much time was spent in the room! Good variety of options for the breakfast including tasty pastries and fry-up items! Staff were so friendly and helpful, spoke very good English and gave us their recommendations for where to go and where to eat. Plenty of free parking outside the hotel if you’re hiring a car! Visiting in the summer meant the sun is out most of the day- the blackout curtains in the room were great! Perfect location just a short walk to the main shopping street.
Nothing to dislike! Safety deposit box in the room had been locked by previous guest, but the hotel staff allowed us to use their safe in the office which was really helpful.

The staff were lovely and very informative. The rooms were not serviced due to strike action, but this didn’t matter and the staff made sure we could access new towels etc whenever we wanted on each floor which was useful. The beds were very comfortable. We had a limited breakfast due to strike action, but it was still good.
The room was a bit of a tight squeeze with 2 suitcases but was clean and comfortable.

Everyone working the front desk was beyond kind and helpful. They gave us suggestions on places to see and eat, also when any of our tours/trips changed they contacted the desk as well and they would relay to us as well! The location is great, you’re one block from the main shopping and restaurants. Overall best hotel we stayed at.
