Breakfast was good, they were wonderful about making sure there was gluten free. The staff & owner were incredibly helpful & friendly, really bent over backwards, communication was excellent. They put me on the first floor when I told them about my heart condition so there were as few stairs as possible. Owner got me on Northern Lights tour when my credit card was acting up, and then texted me the forecast! Allowed me to leave luggage there after check-out. WiFi was excellent, they had plug adapters as a convenience. Just loved everything about them!

The location was so close to the city center. The breakfast was delicious and plenty available. Also tea and coffee throughout the day. The house itself is very charming as well as the owners.

The breakfast was nice, there was a decent amount of choice available. It varies day to day, but will have some cheese, ham, bread, sliced fruit and vegetables, some buns and yogurt, and some cereal. Coffee, tea and juice were available. The owners were really nice and friendly, and let us keep our things at the hotel after we checked out because our flight was at night. The room was cozy and had a coffee maker, and the windows had blinds so the constant daylight wasn't a huge issue.

It would have been nice to have a small wardrobe or chest of drawers in the room, as well as a hanger on the door for coats.

Snorri's Guesthouse is a true guesthouse. The owners are onsite, super helpful with recommendations, and they themselves made the morning breakfast, which was outstanding! Homemade pastries, super fresh breads, meats, cheeses, fruits, juices! Coffee was plentiful. The facilities are quite nice, perfect for travelers, and also in a quiet area so very restful. The bed had a traditional Scandinavian style comforter, which is so cozy! The guesthouse is perfectly located close to the buses for excursions, to and from the airport, and also close to the large church, Iglesia Hallgrímskirkja, and to restaurants. Loved this place!

Staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Extremely helpful and quick to respond. Due to internet issues, we were not receiving the messages they were leaving us regarding our late arrival. When we called at 2am, they immediately answered with such smiles in their voices, happy that we had arrived safely. Our room was readily accessible. Super clean and so comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful as well. They are well situated to the down town area and easy to get to. My son has stayed at 5star hotels in the downtown area. He said Snorri's was much bette. Will absolutely stay here again.

What a gem! My 1st time to Iceland and was there for a cycling event which was in another part of country. I had 2 nights in Reykjavik and wanted to talk with locals, be close by for walking the city etc. Hotels are fine, but I wanted something more personable. I was late to arrive - which was no issue with a quick phone call. The location was easy to find and park. My room was clean, warm and cozy. Breakfast was perfect - good coffee, yogurt, fruit, pastry. The family and staff were lovely. My friends were jealous of my find. Would 100% recommend and return.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. Sirry and Armann are the owners and they are so incredibly hands-on and personal that it truly felt like I was staying at a home away from home. Every little detail from the breakfast to the amenities in the room itself were phenomenal. I arrived a few hours early before designated check in time and Armann let me know right away that I could check in earlier if a room was available. When I got to the property, Sirry let me know that not only was my room ready, they had actually upgraded me to a double room from a single and gave me a room with a better view. What a kind gesture already off the bat!! And the room itself was so clean and absolutely gorgeous. It had everything I needed and I loved the little add-ons in the room like extra towels, fridge, coffee machine, and water boiler. I only stayed 1 night but I wish I stayed more. This will be my accommodation whenever I come back to Iceland. I LOVED it and the owners are truly such caring people and it shows in the whole experience!! Couldn't recommend this place more than I already do :)

We loved our stay at Snorri’s Guesthouse! Great location, comfortable room with a cozy bed and private bath. We enjoyed the in-room coffeemaker and the easy, free street parking all around. Armann and Sirry are Wonderful hosts, so accommodating and hospitable. Staff member Yon was great too! We will definitely stay there again if we go back to Iceland!
