Breakfast was tasty with a variety of hot and cold food. Double Room was big enough for two people to move around easily with an added touch of a balcony. Everything was comfortable and clean though if you wanted your room cleaned you would have to ask at reception before 10am. Wasn't an issue though. Shower Gel and handwash provided in bathroom. Location wasn't too bad at all with the main shopping areas just down the road.
The bar was in the small reception area and I thought space was very restricted especially when people are sat in reception. Would be good to have it in another area of the hotel somewhere for guests to lounge.

The hotel was very clean and we felt the triple room we had was homely and spacious . The beds were really comfortable and Icelandic wool blankets are provided if you ever need warmth which is a nice touch . We had stayed here before four years ago and had very much enjoyed our stay then so were delighted that the hotel was as we had hoped . It provides what you need and the staff who were at reception were always very friendly and helpful
There isn’t anything I didn’t like

When we arrived at 8 AM, we could have left our luggage until check-in time, but 2 rooms were ready and we took an offer of early check-in for a reasonable fee. It was a great relief to unpack our bags and rest and freshen up before exploring Reykjavik. I liked the location, which was away from the Center and therefore quiet. The Food Hall with several good choices was a short walk away.
The bathroom had only a half sink with a shelf over it, so you had to lower your head very carefully to not bump it. Also we had trouble figuring out the shower controls. It would be helpful to have instructions.

Hotel staff was very polite and helpful Spacious room with both shower and bath in the bathroom Comfy and big bed Amazing breakfast with lots of choice (English breakfast, continental, lots of fruits and veggies, pastry, even waffles) Luggage storage available after check out British TV channels on TV, nothing like catching up on old Kitchen Nightmares episodes after a long day of activities 😀 Quiet neighborhood, just few minute walk to the center
If you are a light sleeper and you pick one of those renovated rooms on the ground floor, I recommend bringing earplugs and maybe a sleep mask. Windows in my room were next to garage entry, not a big issue but there was heavy traffic around 10-11 pm and then in the morning.

Location perfect! Away from the buzz in town but very close to the main streets, restaurants, bars, services. Room: it looks like an old hotel but the room was great size, bed and pillows very comfortable, shower ok, did it's job. Nothing bad to say. Reception: unfortunately I didnt catch her name but the girl in reception in day time was soooo helpful and polite. Breakfast amazing! Many options to choose from for all tastes.
I gave a lower score to value for money only because I think it could be a bit less expensive, but Iceland is expensive, so not really a problem.

Everything! the staff were exceptionally helpful, breakfast delicious and the room were great. The closeness to the downtown. I went to the Sundhollin Public Baths which was a short walk from the hotel and it was a wonderful.
I unplugged the room refrigerator because it made the sound of someone snoring (not a big deal). Just a bit of advise for your city and country: you want to eliminate the rabbits before they overrun the city and country. They will damage your parks and agriculture and impact tourism. I deal with rabbits where I live, they have destroyed my garden and flower beds repeatedly.

Location is perfect just a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants in the city. The guys working on reception were great very helpful and great customer service. The rooms were clean and the beds were really comfy. The breakfast is amazing there is so much choice and good quality. I will definitely stay here again in future when I visit Iceland
Nothing. Everything was great

Location is very good and decent.. Most of the required points are in walking distance.. We loved and enjoyed the Breakfast for quality and selections.... worth the price they charged.. The reception was very helpful and attentive... Altogether we came back happy
No drinking water. They could provide atleast one drinking water Bottle... and my suggestion to install a refill point in Reception area. Water is a basic thing, without which any guest will feel the discomfort..

Breakfast was awesome. Easy check-in. Free street parking across the street. Location was good. Streets were quiet at night as it's a couple blocks away from busy city center. Easy access to highways.
Rooms had everything we needed, slightly outdated design in the rooms. We had two rooms on our booking, 1 came with a small fridge the other did not have a fridge. One room had outlets that only worked some of the time so had to keep swapping outlets for charging devices.

Clean, comfy, easy access, free street parking in front or paid parking in the back. Very friendly staff, accommodating to early check-ins for early arrival flights. Next to Brek bakery for snacks and near an Icewear to grab some warm winter gear. If you get a room on the third or fourth floor, great view of the city.
My partner and I have conflicting opinions on the comfort of the beds. Small shower, just enough room for a person to turn around.
