Really enjoyed out stay in Nov, this is the 3rd time in 2023 we have stayed here. Staff are superb friendly and very helpful. My mum (83 yrs old) stayed with us on a couple of days and the staff took care of her safety so well. We will defo be going back here. Location is ideal for shopping in TNagar, so many good shops are in walkable location. The spa members are very good too - the deco in the Spa rooms could be modertised; in need of renovation. The gym is small but was good for us, equiments are pretty new and well maintained. We recommend renting the car (5 seat Innova) from the hotel; our driver Vetrivel was so helpful and drove us around throughout our stay in Chennai. Highly recommend Vetri's driving so we will be requesting him as our driver during our next stay (i.e in 2024).

We were overcharged by £50 (Rs 4800). We stayed for nearly a week and had a early morning flight - so settled the bill in a hurry and we didnt notice that there was some charges for SKY; we had 4 rooms and none of us watch TV. Also, we had so many extra charges (laundry, room service, spa etc) so couldn't see wood for trees in the bill. Lessons learnt is to settle the bill, the previous night so we don't incur any incorrect invoices. And to double / triple check the invoices while we are staying in the hotel!!

The location and the service. The facilities in the room were really top notch, including the tablet for control that actually worked quite well, and the well-appointed bathroom and toilet. We went for lunch at the rooftop restaurant SKY and had a mix of Asian and Indian items. The quality of the food and the taste were both exceptional, the ambience and the service were also excellent. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. The staff at the reception were kind enough to hold a medication for us to be picked up by a friend two days AFTER our stay, very unusual and much appreciated.

We were in a room directly above a party hall and the music, in particular the drums, was getting to be annoying. However, the duty manager acted promptly and immediately offered us a quieter room. Much appreciated. The room shade and the screen controlled by the tablet were excellent, but a minor goof up on the installation has left a large gap at the bottom of the window and hence, the room cannot be made fully dark: so you cannot sleep in late since the morning sun brightens up the room!

Restaurant staff at the entrance need to improve their service knowing it is a service industry .We went down for breakfast at 9am was told no seats available and directed us to 1st floor .We went up were told the same thing and directed to go down.The hotel should have better arrangements. Eg: apologized to guest and make an effort to check if there’s a seat at the other floor instead of sending up and down. Reception staff wasn’t friendly .They didn’t even greet probably busy and tired attending to many guest

The staff were courteous. The property was exceptionally clean. The stay was very comfortable. The controls of the room are remotely operated via i-pad, and all the services of the hotel can be accessed via I -pad, which makes it more comfortable and easier. The facilities in the room were exceptional.

The breakfast was good but the food quality and taste can be improved. For example , the omelette was burnt, the mushrooms were rubbery, and so on. There should be a notice on the mini fridge to say that if we use the contents, it will be charged. Small juices in the mini fridge, a 100 ml pack is charged very expensively. Even a meal from the same hotel's crown restaurant is not as expensive as the mini fridge tetra pack 100 ml juice pack.

The newly furnished hotel is a joy to stay. The staff were excellent and helpful like always. We were given a room to sleep in for a few hours before our room was ready which was really appreciated after a long haul sleepless flight from London. Zubair Khan went to great heights to make sure our stay was comfortable and we were looked after. We were also delighted to have been the guests at the Republic Day celebrations in the hotel and was impressed with the staff parade that took place. The highlight was the newly installed Japanese toilet which we were thrilled to use.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Truly a 5 star service and the hotel is extremely amazing, great in room dining, amazing breakfast, other facilities like airport drop off was super efficient. The driver from hotel airport drop off Mr. Bennet was an amazing person and provided great assistance, his work effort need to be appreciated by the hotel management. I have stayed in many hotels in Chennai like Marriot, Lê Méridien and Taj Conemera but Residency Tower have surpassed all other hotels with their amazing service. For all my next visits I will only select to stay with Residency Tower. Keep up the great effort and awesome services. See you back in August.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. This is my second stay here and I cannot recommend this place enough. Loved the buffet breakfast which had a wonderful spread, and the room was very comfortable.

The only minor thing I would point out is the valet parking. It took quite a while (15-20 mins) for the valet driver to get our car out but this could be because the hotel was quite busy that evening with a lot of visitors. Otherwise, nothing else, and everything was first rate.

1st, i commend the staff coz they are very courteous, warm, helpful and welcoming. From the security at front to the front desk, restaurant staff who brought my food to the room and drivers, thank you 🙏🏼. 2nd, the room is clean and spacious and the amenities are complete which is very good since not all hotels are providing in general. 3rd, I arrived an hour early than the check in time. And i was so exhausted, good thing the check in process was so smooth and fast. In my very short stay, I highly recommend this hotel 💯 %👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 If i will visit chennai again, i will stay at same hotel for sure.

Breakfast was good - wide range and the staff were friendly. Gym - good size, set up well. It is shame that the Swimming and Sun Bathing areas were not open; we were told that they were undergoing repairs. Rooftop Restaraunt - amazing views and good food

The spa's steam room wasn't functioning; this just wasted a 10 mins of my relaxation time. But the team in Spa were so friendly and professional - really enjoyed a good massage, so thank you. Everything else was perfect, thanks

Very attractive foyer and room well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Taxi from aiport and subsequently for a short city tour were well managed, friendly driver. Fast lift!

Pre-arrival information was poor, specifically confirmation of the airport pickup. The room information is on an annoying ipad that took some time to learn and contained out of date informtion about dining. Thus we were led to expect the coffee shop a la carte carried on into the evening but in fact only an expensive buffet was available. Only one member of staff knew that the room information was wrong. We ended up in the restaurant which was pleasant but pricey as we only wanted a light meal. There is no garden and no walks from the hotel. Room view was of a building site. Breakfast disappointing.
