We stayed here for 3 weeks, the location is perfect ,rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was nice,the food at the chinese restaurant was very good, the staffs at the hotel were exceptional especially mrs Brinda the manager, she is the pillar of this hotel....she did all her best to make our stay pleasant and memorable,all the staff's were good, to name a few mr Keith at the restaurant and Ms Mami at the spa were too good, we will come again definitely....next year. We were fully satisfied with our stay.....nothing to complain.

* The staff were great - supportive and welcoming. Everyone was very personable (including Brinda Das) - which made our stay pleasant. * We had half-board catering during our stay- compared to other hotels there was not an infinite amount of choices for breakfast and dinner but what was served was delicious and high quality. We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner - there was sufficient rotation between the 3 nights stay. The hotel also provided us with a freshly packed breakfast for our very early departure * The rooms (Club suites) were done up really well including the bathrooms.

There was an odour in the corridor (stale smoke smell) which was not pleasant.

Just loved the way the rooms have been designed -/ every element just where it should. Most importantly, the choice of fittings and fixtures. All conforming to the core of ITC Hotels that I have known over the years. It is a well thought out transition from the convention to the new age without sacrificing the soul of what ITC Hotels has stood for over the years.

I liked everything in the property. If there is anything that was missing, it is ‘the total absence of life’ in the lobby. It looks bare. Lacks warmth. That said, it is certainly not a comment on the staff who handle the Front Desk. They are Super Performers. All that I felt was that the Lobby leading up to the Front Desk could do with something that would make the guest feel just so wanted and welcomed. But, please avoid the Welcome Drink ceremony. That is not only so boring , but just so clinical and lacking in warmth.

The hospitality and attention to detail was exceptional from start to finish. Not forgetting the outstanding service received from manager Brenda and Thomson at reception. We were a family of 10 traveling together and celebrated my 45th birthday and renewed our wedding vows. These milestones were made extremely memorable by Thomson going out of his way to ensure that every guests need was attended to from arrival to departure. We spent 6 nights at Welcome ITC Chennai and I will most definitely recommend this fine establishment to all my family, friends and clients. The staffs are really good (Reception- Prabakar, Bala // Bar - Ajith // Restaurant - Keith) Breakfast spread was good, would appreciate more if a non-veg curry was also added part of the spread Rooms are very beautiful, aesthetic, spacious and fresh given recently renovated Had some challenges and the staff step in to fix it, even with a room change immediately

AC issue persisted in my room despite multiple attempts by the hotel staffs to fix it and finally had to change room Restaurant options inside the hotel are less

The location is very good, with easy access to most of the sights, restaurants, shopping, and the beach. The beds were super comfortable, and the breakfast/lunch or main meal options were plentiful. We could book a taxi with the hotel itself when we needed. The staff were really helpful!

As the hotel is near a main road, we could hear the road noise at times (mostly around school/office run). So the rooms could have used more soundproofing.

As a first-time visitor to Chennai, I was somewhat unprepared. Still, Sakshi went above and beyond to provide me with valuable insights on places to visit and sum up an itinerary for my limited time in the city. Her knowledge of the local attractions and dining spots was invaluable, making my exploration of Chennai smooth and enjoyable. Sakshi's dedication to ensuring guests have a remarkable stay undoubtedly elevates the hotel's reputation to a five-star level. Furthermore, I would like to mention Ganesham, the IT guy whose prompt and efficient service resolved any connectivity issues I encountered. Upon noting the need for a stronger WiFi connection, Ganesham swiftly addressed the matter, providing me with a higher-speed connection that allowed me to work comfortably from my room. His professionalism and willingness to assist exemplify the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. Additionally, I must highlight a nearby dining recommendation provided by the staff. For exceptional South Indian vegetarian cuisine, I highly recommend visiting Hotel Maris next door. Their Gheen Masala Dosa paired with their signature filter coffee is an absolute delight and a must-try for anyone staying at Welcomhotel. In conclusion, my stay at Welcomhotel by ITC Hotel was marked by exemplary service, comfortable accommodations, and a delightful culinary experience. Sakshi and Ganesham's contributions exemplify the dedication of the staff to ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay. Property is in a prime location, close to the US Consulate. The property itself was clean and well designed. But the staff was exceptional. Extremely courteous, well-trained and helpful, they elevated the entire experience with their warmth. Special shout out to Manish at the Front Desk, who epitomizes guest relations and customer service. Brilliant experience and will certainly return again!

A beautiful, elegant, well appointed hotel. The service was courteous, helpful and unobtrusive. Our room was upgraded on check-in and it was very comfortable, spacious and thoughtfully designed. The breakfast buffet offered extensive options, both Indian and continental, including cooked dishes.

There was a quirk with the room lighting that meant it was not possible to put particular ones on or off without affecting the other lights.

Very friendly staff, good amount of choices at breakfast buffet, clean and comfortable, great climate inside the hotel and very easy to regulate inside the room. The king size bed made sleeping comfy especially with the pillows provided.

Not much to be honest, maybe the coffee as for my taste it was not strong enough. Also the sachets in the room to make coffee with the water cooker provided could not make a good strong coffee for me (on the other hand this is for everyone's taste different)
