This hotel is in a good location, while there are ongoing work for the last few years on the new metro system right next to the hotel our room was in the separate block so there was no noise from the 24 hour road works. The breakfast is excellent but what made our stay (2 weeks) was the unbelievably professional,helpful and attentive staff. They just could not do enough for the guests and staying there for such a long time we got to know them quite well. They really do go out of their way to make guests feel like family. They work so hard but make it look easy. NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE. They are what really makes this hotel stand out from many other hotels we have stayed in around the world.

The internet was awful. Having only 2 devices per code is a real pain and then the internet speed was 2 or 3 mbps which by modern standards is actually worse than awful - it was like the old dial up but the way it kept going while with at this hotel after a few minutes it would turn off so had to keep logging in again, time and time again. And then when in the actual hotel our wifi codes did not allow us to use our devices.

The breakfast had both local and western food options. Everything was well prepared. Options changed every morning. Variety was big, and all was of high quality. The service and cleanliness were super good. Personnel was fast and effective yet very friendly.

Fantastic hotel all around. The room was compact but absolutely spotless and very functional- everything worked perfectly. Great location, good breakfast and, the standout for me, was the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff on the front desk, housekeeping and breakfast teams. This is a hotel that gets it just right: I stayed here at the end of a 3 week trip to India staying mainly at Taj/ITC/Lalit properties, and whilst The Residency is a different price point and more compact I genuinely enjoyed it just as much as those hotels( and, in many ways, preferred it eg the smoothness of check in and out was unmatched). Would recommend here to my friends and family in a heartbeat

An amazing place to stay for a night or two. The room, although small, was very comfortable, clean, and had every amenity. The staff was amazing, they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, and honestly made me feel like royalty. Their complimentary breakfast was delicious. The range of food available was really impressive (a live omlette bar, pav bhaji, baked goods, waffles, sausages, and much more). Plus, they also have a peaceful lounge where one can wait or work. I used it to get a little work done, and one of the staff pampered me with tea and cookies! 10/10 would recommend.

The main road leading up to the hotel is all blocked, and I didn't know this beforehand. The wifi was also a little weak. But apart from that it was a wonderful stay.

Excellent service by the hotel and staff members were very polite. Mr Peter, Mr Roshan and Rajesh Bhai made our stay a lot more comfortable and the eagerness to help in any way they could and always with a smile and always at your service. We arrived at 7am and Peter at reception was super-efficient and knowledgeable. He went an extra mile and got us our room by 8am (a big thank you to Peter who made the check-in process seamless). Rooms were clean and comfortable and great fun atmosphere. This was my second stay at Residency Fort and will definitely come back and highly recommend. . The Hotel remains as a very convenient place to start your Mumbai South sight-seeing & shopping Area Breakfast was quite good for the price and had the basics (juice, fruits, tea, coffee, toast, dossa, idli, etc...). Space for breakfast is somewhat limited and you might have to wait to be seated during peak hours. The staff offer a complimentary tea, coffee and refreshments at reception whenever you enter the lobby area. Thank you all and will looking forward to coming back to Residency.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. At breakfast the staff cater to your every wish and the coffee art was excellent 👍. We enjoyed walking around the neighbourhood and seeing life happen.

Unfortunately we stayed during construction of the main road so taxi's found it a challenge. On more than one occasion the taxi would almost arrive and then cancel. Luckily the lobby staff are super helpful and assist you with this. The room was a little strange, it took a minute to figure out the bathroom and you can hear people in the hallway.

The stuffs are so friendly. They gave me such a nice hospitality. Even I left my big luggage until 6pm, and I felt so bad about leaving my belongings alone for many hours, they did not blame me. They told me it’s totally fine, and kindly welcomed me back! I definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Mumbai.

There was a big construction going on close to the hotel, and sometimes it sounds quite loud. But that means “Mumbai is upgrading”, so it was okay for me. I know some people left comments about it, but personally thinking, it worths staying here.

I have been staying here for the past 7 years, despite having options to stay at the most luxurious 5 star Hotels in the Fort area the Residency is my #1 choice! The staff are like family the location is superb.

This hotel has an excellent location close to train stations, the stadium, markets and touristy landmarks. Great place to explore from. The service from the staff was excellent. Room was very well equipped and spacious, we paid premium and therefore were located in the new refurbished building which was very nice. The gym is located in another hotel 15mins walk away but is well equipped so worth the walk. Breakfast was ok. Wifi was very good.
