We stayed at Trident twice whilst we were following the ICC World Cup and at the same time celebrating our golden wedding anniversary. At our first stay we had the suite where we could see the whole queen’s crown and the Wankhede Stadium was visible from our rooms. The second stay was on the last leg of our 30 day trip. We booked club room but on arrival found the condition of the room unacceptable. The room had a bath shower whilst we always request walk-in-shower. Anyway- we had a prompt response from the management and were give a room with a walk-in-shower within no time and had a very comfortable stay till our flight back to Manchester on 30th November 2023.

We think the rooms do definitely need modernising and ambience of the room/suite more appealing to the eye

Staff are always so welcoming. Check-in & check out are really quick and effortless. The location and the sea view rooms are the USP.

It would be cost effective for single parents with teenage kids or 2 adult children to book one room for 3 people. I suggest the hotel consider changing their 2 adults per room policy and have a few selected rooms with an extra bed. The desk and chair could be removed maybe to make space. In todays diverse world, a family unit of three is becoming the norm, and the hotels policy should be revised to adapt to this change.

Everything was great! Luxurious stay!!

We were offered a sea facing room for the last 2 nights of our stay however the room category was older. I am sure all the rooms will be renovated in batches but the newer rooms are luxurious.

breakfast was great location is the best. right in marine drive and the views from different parts of the hotel is just breathtakingly amazing

it was really busy and we did not get personalized service from the staff as you would expect from similar establishments (I compare it to Taj, Oberoi etc). we had booked 3 rooms as we were celebrating new years together and as they were busy we were not given rooms even on the same floor. views from the room were very ordinary. although clean the facility definitely looked old and dated

We loved the Trident Nariman. It's definitely worth splashing out on as we found it v good value compared to the more economical hotel (Gordon House) we moved to afterwards which was not that much cheaper but a big come down in quality. The room in particular was lovely, especially as we were lucky to be upgraded to an ocean view room. Spacious, great bedding, nice bathroom. The staff were all friendly and efficient. The location on Marine Drive is good, though you are 15-20mins walk from the busy area around Fort, or taxis are very easy to come by. The breakfast buffet is impressive, although the croissant/pastries were poor quality which is a pity for this hotel. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel as it was too expensive for us, but there is an excellent South Indian veg restaurant nearby called Status, or there is also a branch of Delhi Durbar nearby. Lots of ATMs nearby too. It's a real pity the hotel don't use the rooftop for a bar. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Mumbai.

Breakfast good. Location is supposed to be excellent. The famed Marine drive (Marine road) of Mumbai. Room was great. The cleanest room and bathroom we came across In India on this holiday. 20 days we were in India. Nearly 10 -12 hotels we stayed. Some claimed that they were 4, 5 stars. but their cleanliness was horrifying. These people don't know what is cleanliness. The first hotel that had stain free, bed linen. And thank god for that.

Breakfast good. After the 3rd, 4th day it was getting a little dull. Should have more non vegetarian dishes. Location is supposed to be excellent. The famed Marine drive (Marine road) of Mumbai. But it was stinking right opposite the hotel on the marine road itself. Not sure whether the hotel has any legal rights, but it can probably get together with the local council and the neighboring hotels and have the Marine drive free of stench or atleast reduce it.

We recently travelled from Australia to Mumbai for surgery and stayed in 5 hotels during our month long trip. Trident Nariman Point was by far the best and it was the hotel we returned to during my recovery. The staff are amazing, so friendly, kind and helpful. The location is perfect. We stayed in 2 different rooms Premier Double City View (slightly dated and not as clean) & Executive Ocean View (modern, recently renovated & super clean). We preferred the ocean view as it’s newer and had a great view. The facilities in the hotel are great. The security is very high and makes you feel safe. The restaurants just as great. We wished we had have known that we could walk through the hotel to the Oberoi next door for more restaurants without having to walk out to the road though. The room service came from the restaurants on site and was well used given the reason for our stay. We very much miss the food now we are back home! The gardens are beautiful and well maintained and were so nice for a stroll during recovery. We were lucky enough to be there during the Indian Airforce show which was really cool and we had the perfect view! On top of all this, the prices were the best out of all the hotels we stayed in and this was over the Christmas/New Year period. We highly highly recommend this hotel and if we ever need to come back we would definitely stay again. Thank you so much for your hospitality in what was otherwise a difficult time in our lives.

My stay at Trident Nariman Point was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire experience. First and foremost, the view of the Arabian Sea from my room was breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of the majestic Indian Ocean every morning was a highlight of my stay. It truly added an extra layer of serenity to my time in Mumbai. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better. As someone visiting Mumbai for the first time, I was initially overwhelmed by the vastness of the city and unsure of where to stay. However, choosing Trident Nariman Point turned out to be the perfect decision. Situated in the heart of the city, it offered easy access to all the major attractions, making my exploration of Mumbai convenient and enjoyable. Moreover, the hospitality and service provided by the staff were exemplary. They were attentive to my needs and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. In conclusion, my experience at Trident Nariman Point exceeded my expectations in every way. From the stunning views to the impeccable service, my first visit to Mumbai was unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in the city.

We decided to splurge and stay at this hotel because the reviews for every other hotel seemed nightmarish. We usually prefer more "authentic" hotels, smaller and in traditional buildings, however we quickly learned that in India if a hotel is not a Brand + 5 stars or at least a very well reviewed Brand + 4 stars (with many reviews), you may be in for all kinds of unpleasant surprises. There are so many scams/ fakes/ half-truths that it felt like even this one was a needle in a haystack find. So we are happy to say the Trident did not disappoint, rooms were very comfortable, well insulated/ silent, great beds, extra pillows, nice amenities, glass bottled water, friendly staff, awesome breakfast.

Let´s say that what we didn´t like was the price, however, we don´t regret the decision. Everything was good and the Trident delivered a professional experience, as expected of a real 5 star hotel.
