We had a lovely stay at Aryavilla Heritage! The manager and his team were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We arrived early in the morning and were kindly given a room to rest and recover from our jetlag, and by midday, our beautiful room with a balcony was ready. Communication before and during our stay was easy, eg, the transfers from the airport and to Munnar were organized quickly, were safe and reliable. We can highly recommend Aryavilla Heritage!

Just minor improvement for the room: some hooks or hangers for clothes would have been useful.

We stayed here with our teenage daughters. We really enjoyed the homely feel and personal touches of this homestay. The hosts had excellent communication from the time we booked and were so friendly and helpful with everything we needed from booking a driver for us to get from Thekkady to Varkala, to breakfast, tuktuks, providing a cutting board, knife and plate for fruit we had bought - honestly, nothing was a bother. The room was comfortable with our own bathroom and private balcony and a kettle with cups, tea and coffee. There was a shared eating space with a water filter to fill up bottles, and we were able to use the fridge and kitchen facilities if needed. You are a 2 minute walk from all the restaurants and beach area. If you are looking for a chilled accommodation with a personal touch, we would recommend Aryavilla.

Location was great and room was spacious and clean. Bed was good and we slept very well. Private terrace was nice and the garden will be too I imagine. Staff is friendly and they helped us rent scooters and hire a taxi .

We paid €50 per night and would have liked to give a 10 if everything worked as expected: The first room we saw had a very loud airco and after some persuasion we could move to another room. In that room there was no socket by the bed so they had a cable with powerbank across the room between the bed and shower (not safe). We managed to find a solution to this ourselves. Also the switches for the lights are in strange places and no reading lights by the bed. Hardly any shelves for storing clothes so we moved the outside table inside. Waterpressure in bathroom low and showerhead could not be attached to the wall to shower ‘handsfree’.

In a quiet location just 2 minutes walk from the busy tourist strip on the clifftop above the beach. Loads of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. There was some sort of mix up with our booking so we were upgraded to an AC room which was nice as it was very hot! However that was only available for 2 nights so we had to move to the non-AC room which we had originally booked for the 3rd night. The AC room had a nice 1st floor private balcony, although the room was a bit small. The non-AC rooms are much larger with larger bathrooms and have small private terraces to sit outside. Despite the lack of AC the fans kept the room comfortably cool.

We had a very comfortable stay at Aryavilla Heritage. The location was very convenient for the beach and restaurants. We loved the balcony, comfortable chairs, and very peaceful. (Some music could be heard at night, but it didn't disturb our sleep.) Mohamed was an excellent host, arranging auto rickshaws for hospital visits, taxis and helping us with travel arrangements. He did everything he could to make sure our stay was pleasurable. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

More storage space for clothes would have been helpful.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Spacious room. A pleasant sitting area outside the room to relax. A pleasant and welcoming atmosphere to the place. A cattle and cups in the room and a common fridge outside.

A lot of noise. The noise began early in the morning and went on late into the night. The hotel is located just behind Varkal's busy sea promenade. We didn't like this area and preffered a more peaceful and laidback area of town. Nowhere to put your toiletaries and cosmetics in the bathroom. A small shelf would be helpful (probably more to women).

I enjoyed my stay at Aryavilla so much that I extended my trip twice! Everything was perfect. The room was comfortable and clean. The location is great for enjoying both the south and north cliff. Suresh, Mohamed the manager, and the entire staff were all incredibly kind and helpful during my two week stay. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe and looked after while there. Would highly recommend staying here when visiting Varkala!

Nothing I didn’t like - everything was perfect!

The villa is beautiful and well kept, and the room was comfortable. I loved being able to 'work from home' out on the balcony with the beautiful view. The property is very conveniently located next to the beach and strip of restaurants and shops. The staff were very accommodating and went the extra mile to take care of us, answering any questions we had. Thank you Mohammed and Suresh! We had a great time and can't wait to come back!

There was an issue with the wifi but it was promptly fixed when we brought it to their attention.

Location is a USP for the property...North cliff is only 50-60 meter's from the property and easily accessible.. All the major cafes are nearby from the property... We did not have our breakfast at the property but breakfast is available if you inform the owner one day before in evening. Property is neat and clean and host "Suresh" is very welcoming and also help us in planning our itinerary. Scooty is also available in the property for hiring purpose. Suresh has also helped in booking our taxi.

It will be good if you put slippers in washrooms as most of the times we are keeping our slippers or shoes at the property entrance. In washrooms, tissue papers too.

Pros: Early check-in was permitted at NO extra cost, which was a lovely bonus. We received outstanding support from Suresh, Mohammed, and their team, who went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Despite not having AC, the Revathi room remained surprisingly cool and comfortable.

Cons: I dont see anything! Suggestion: It would be helpful to have a nightstand or a small table, near the charging port to place our phones and other belongings.
