The hotel was absolutely stunning! Loved the location, overall interior and the tea room. Would definitely recommend!

The breakfast options were quite limited and the staff at the rooftop restaurant seemed rather unwelcoming. First, it seemed like they didn't want to let me in because I was dining alone and not "dressed up," so I had to prove that I was staying at the hotel. After dinner, they initially refused to charge it to my room, even though that was the reason I left a deposit upon check-in. It took 20 minutes before it was finally sorted out, and I left the restaurant accompanied by the staff's dirty looks.

Charming hotel! Feels like a small boutique inn, even though it is fairly large. Three restaurants in the building, including rooftop and poolside bars. Minimart and ATM in basement. McDonalds and Starbucks across the street. MRT is a 2-minute walk from the lobby. Be sure to ask about the afternoon tea service in the Library Lounge. And look for the 20-foot tall peacock lamps!

AMAZING! i definitely recommend Ascott if you just wanna stay in the hotel because it is breathtaking. The pools were out of this world with amazing skyline views. Everything is available and accessible, and you can reach anywhere by taking a taxi and can be arranged by the hotel. The room is spacious and beautiful!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Elevators were a bit slow, but isn’t a big issue.

Everything was great! A very nice staff, a great breakfast with a lot of options to choose. The room was amazing, the bed perfect and the bathtub had an amazing city view from a high floor. We visited the swimming pools several times, they also fit perfectly in the style and atmosphere of the hotel. The style and design are great and everything fits perfect together. We had a perfect stay, thank you!

Had an amazing stay at the Orient. I love all the decor and the details, it’s so unique. We got a free upgrade when we check in. The room was very spacious and also has amazing decor. We also went to the gym and had a swim at the pool. The gym was very well equipped and the pool has a nice view of Jakarta’s cityscape in Sudirman. We had cocktails and went out dancing at their rooftop bar, Cafe Cali as well.

Not many selections for breakfast, but it was not a big deal.

We had chosen to stay at this hotel on the wedding day before we head out for honeymoon. The staff were generous, they had set up a beautiful complimentary honeymoon welcome set up, upgraded our room. Breakfast was ok, but expensive. The selection of the breakfast items was pretty good.

The layout of the room could have been better, but it was clean and unique. Beautiful details were in evidence everywhere, the doors to the rooms were all decorated differently.

We got upgraded and the Orient room was amazing! They gym is incredible, with a great view over the city. The oriental antique decor in a modern setting creates a luxurious and mysterious environment.

Cannot have a free seat at Rooftop bar when we are hotel guests (only standing)

Breakfast is over priced and not nany options Pillos were too soft The toilet and the shower not in same part of the room so it was not comfortable at all Noise from the streets of cars. Rooms are not Sound proofs at all Tv was not in front of the bed which is also not comfortable
