Amazing staff! Very helpful and gave us late checkout until 2pm. The guy, Richie, on reception was very welcoming and accommodating on arrival. Hope to see you back in Dubai soon, Richie! The hotel serves a purpose very well. We stayed for 1 night before flying back to Dubai and the location is literally adjacent to the runway, so very convenient for the airport in Jakarta. The resort is very tranquil and beautiful for saying it's next to an airport. The gardens and pool are exquisite and very tropical. The gym is very well-equipped and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent and so much variety! The staff in the restaurant are wonderfully helpful and my husband even got introduced to the Head Chef at breakfast! They offer a free airport shuttle too to take you to the airport upon check out. Overall, a wonderfully pleasant stay here before our trip back home. Thank you! 😊

The room was a little disappointing for a 5 star hotel. It smelt very fusty and was small. It was, also, not very clean and we found black hairs on the bathroom floor. A balcony or terrace would be lovely in all rooms here, as the grounds are so beautiful. The dinner options are limited. The menu in the Daily Social for food does not offer much variety. In the taxi from the airport on arrival, Booking.com states a 10 minute ride, but there are road works around the hotel, so this was double the distance and price for us, which we were not made aware of before arrival.

Location, shuttle to airport, breakfast with very good choice and pool

Would expect hot water in bathroom shower in hotel with 5*, but none (twice). Sink pype was mooving left and right when opening watter. Had to be careful not to pull it. Extremely slow service for drinks at pool. Looks like they are delivering it from very far away even if the bar is right next to pool. But staff is finally bringing it with a smile, so we forgive them, it is just bad organization 😉. Thin walls, so you can hear absolutely everything from outside your room. Sheraton, you could improve few things 😊

Needed a place to stay near the airport not having to beat traffic. Hotel conveniently located near the airport plus they have excellent shuttle/taxi service. Just let the conciërge know when you need transport to/from the airport and it is arranged!!! VERY good service! Very comfortable and spacious rooms and hotel has a wonderful tropical vibe, even though near the airport. Swimming pool much appreciated and the breakfast buffet is wonderful!! When travelling to Jakarta I will always try to start and end my visit at Sheraton Jakarta Soekarno Hatta!

No points of improvement I can think of (other than a clogged shower drain during one of my stays...but quite sure that is fixed now).

This place is an absolute gem. We spent 4 weeks travelling Sulawesi, mostly staying in homestays. It was really nice to finish our holidays with some luxury and relaxation. Nothing is too much for the ever friendly staff, who always try to help you make your stay even nicer. We really enjoyed the excellent dinner and the amazingly extensive breakfast options. We felt super welcomed and definitely recommend you to come and try their hospitality for yourself. Yes the prices are a bit higher than usual in Indonesia. But this level of service and luxury would have a completely different price tag in Europe. So for us this was the perfect opportunity to try out this type of luxury while keeping within our budget. Dear staff, thank you for the excellent service and wonderful conclusion of our holiday.

The staff were very attentive, especially great with our small children. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant food is delicious, the most delicious and extensive buffet breakfast we have had in Indonesia. The pool was big and catered to all ages. Every time we stay it is rarely busy, which means almost exclusive use of facilities. The gym is clean and has good cardio equipment, and a decent size area for stretching and yoga. Proximity to the airport is perfect for a lay over or rest before an onward journey. We will continue staying here for future visits.

We wouldn't stay here if we were planning on lots of activities in inner Jakarta. It takes abut 45 mins to the Whoosh. P

The hotel meets 200% expectations, it is spectacular in all aspects, rooms, services, guest service, restaurant, swimming pool... But I want to especially highlight the attention that two people in particular, Cinta and Diana, gave us in their restaurant. Super friendly and attentive at all times with us, for me it has been a spectacularly special memory, without hesitation I will recommend coming to the hotel to anyone who knows and visits Indonesia, and of course I myself will repeat!

Having to go back to my country

I’ve learnt in the last couple of weeks that the people of Java are some of the friendliest you’ll meet and that’s a theme in this lovely hotel. It’s a big hotel but all the staff are incredible. From a warm friendly greeting when you arrive to excellent service in the restaurant and bar. This was the last hotel on my trip but it sent me off home with warmth in my heart after a wonderful trip to this astounding country. All the facilities were good, rooms were immaculate and I went for a nice swim before my evening meal. I need to explore more of Indonesia and my first hotel to reset will have to be here. Thanks to all the friendly staff.

Nothing

We were only here for a night before continuing on from Jakarta but we loved everything - from the rooms to the food to the layout, and the stunning pool. I didn’t think an airport hotel could be this nice. 10 mins to airport, they arranged a car for us at 2:30 in the morning and even got our room ready early.

The hotel is right next to a lake which meant a large bug showed up in our room at one point. We just chased it out and it wasn’t a big deal, but just be prepared for those surprises given the proximity to water.

Was very comfortable rest between flights & restaurant food delicious. Not too far from airport & free shuttle fantastic. Everyone was very kind and friendly. Beautiful grounds with pool area, workout facilities and koi ponds all over.

Slight musty smell. Just cranked up ac. Being awakened by phone 8 hrs after we arrived from not sleeping 2 days on flights and 3 times. And housekeeping relentless in trying to access & come in our room even though we said we were sleeping.

This hotel is not good, this Hotel, the Sheraton Jakarta Airport is EXCELLENT. I have never stayed in a hotel where the staff is so friendly, attentive, taking care of the guests and always doing a good smalltalk. Special thanks to Fernandes, the whole F'nB Team and the reception staff. You guys rock and doing a superb job. For my next visit in Jakarta I know where to stay ;-)
