Beautiful hotel, minute we arrived the receptionist could not of been any nicer, we have stayed in many hotels she was by far the nicest person to greet guests on arrival

We had breakfast the following morning, we were standing for a min waiting to be seated and a lovely girl that was on breakfast duty approached us took our room number and the woman that must of been head of service gave out to her and told her not to be giving tables, the poor girl was working on her initiative to give us a table as we were waiting, if she was my employee I would be happy that guests weren't waiting , she served us our tea, coffee etc and she was so helpful and pleasant

Cosy room and the breakfast buffet was top class. Staff very friendly, both receptionist and dining room staff were very helpful.

Wasn't too happy with the fact that once booking was made and paid for, there was no provision for a cancellation refund. We were attending a wedding reception at the Bloomfield Hotel and received a call from them a few days before saying they had a cancellation and could offer us a room at a lower (wedding guest) rate.

It was easy to find and well sign posted. It was close to town. The leisure centre was spacious and hydrotherapy pool was a bonus

There was no map of the town or surrounding area available at reception. Was disappointed that there was no massage available as I was looking forward to having one done for my birthday

Friendly, approachable, and professional. Very inclusive for all classes,and down to earth. I would recommend this hotel for relaxation and a place to stay.

Just some things need to be renewed, stair carpets wallpaper in the bar, but mainly good elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel space and facilities. Staff were excellent and very helpful.

I felt the dinner menus in both bar and restaurant were very pricey. More gluten free options would be good. The bedrooms are not to the same standard as other parts of the hotel. The foyer and restaurant etc give an oppulent impression however the bedrooms are quite basic bit comfortable.

Nice Hotel, plenty free parking. Has everything you need in one place, resturant, bar, pool etc. bonus was the chinise also on site. Entrance is very impressive, staff were were great. room was fine as youd expect clear but noting spectacular. view of rear of hotel (nothing to see really). Pool & gym facilities were great. Really good breakfast - plenty choice. only stayed one night before going on to a wedding but was everything we wanted.

A bit out of town so if yoiur spending time in the town would need to get a taxi or drive - not an issue for us but for others could be. other than that met expectations

Our room was on the first floor spotless clean - Breakfast was serve yourself the variety was sensational all food was hot and well presented the service was impeccable there was plenty of food and also you could order some items off menu very impressed with the standard. We will be back.

Dinner was very bad..a roast beef carvery, self service but not a roast potatoe,yorkshire pud or even a bit of stuffing! Meat was ok.but no choice other than mashed turnup,mash spud and frozen broccoli.not one bit appetising .for €16.50 a head it was awful but Staff were nice so didnt like to complain..wouldnt have dinner there again.

there needs to be more communication between front desk and the housekeeping to let them know who has checked out. I got 3 knocks they thought I had left. I left at 11am but was woken at 8.45 by housekeeping. I have 2 autistic kids who have me awake all hours of the night every single night. This was my one night away in 6 months I was looking forward to uninterrupted sleep for once. Other than that the hotel is gorgeous that’s my 2nd time staying! and I would definitely stay again.

very well run clean, excellent facilities

making people wear swim caps to go into the pool is ridiculous and I didn’t use because of this. I have less hair on my head than my beard so what difference does it make, but o was refused entry without one. it’s not a requirement in public pools so why here? also a squat rack in the gym would be useful
