Rooms were clean and large enough for us. Location was good if walking around Wicklow. Breakfast was good

Not much to do in the area- but there are two pubs walkable but not much else. It was good enough for a one night stay.

This was basically located 5-10 min away from the area I wanted to hike in in Glendalough and thus was PERFECT. It is also nice that there are a few restaurants/cafes a less than 5 min walk away for a quick morning coffee/bite to eat. The Glendalough cafe is clearly a favourite for local cyclists. In terms of accommodation, the host was communicative and easy to deal with and the space was clean, comfortable and exactly what I needed. I had decided to fit in a fairly significant road trip day prior to my check in here and this meant that I would end up checking in very late. Regular check in was only until 6pm but host was so easy to communicate with to arrange a late night check in. I was so appreciative that after a long driving day that started at 5am and finished at 11pm, that checking in was such a dream.

I have no notes!

The breakfast was very good. The host gave us a great tip for hiking over to Glendalough from the property. The property was quiet and very handy to the sites in the area that we were keen to visit. He also gave us some good dining tips. The house also has some lovely architectural touches.

There was a lovely sunroom available for us to convene in but we had no idea how to access it. Having forgotten to ask someone at breakfast the first morning, we again had no idea how to access it on our second night. We did not know how to contact someone to find out. Certainly not a deal breaker; just a bit frustrating at the time. It in no way ruined our stay.

Beautiful location which was quiet in nature, but 250 m from a lovey Irish restaurant / pub. As a family we stayed in the cabin at end of garden. Cabin had everything we needed. Good car-parking. The local restaurant (Lynham’s at end of the road) had live music and fantastic food. So good we went two nights in a row!! Breakfast was taken on a patio area by the river at the end of the garden!! Fantastic central location to see main sites of Wicklow. Host was just great.

The Tudor Lodge was few minutes away from the Glendalough Monestery Village, the objective of our visit there. this is place is authentic and charming, and the breakfast was excellent with a great view on the backyard. It is easy to find to park our car. With the guest entrance equiped with a digital code, it was very convenient to go in and out. In addition, there are many foot tracks available for pleasant and resting walkings (medium in difficulty). Finally, at 2 minutes walking distance, there is a authentic Pub with a great selection of beers and food (local one).

There was nothing in particular we did not appreciated during our stay at the Tudor Lodge. However, during the fall and winter period, it is not very easy to drive a car (even a small one) on the narrow country roads where the night is quite dark.

Good location near Glendelough and Wicklow Mountains Nat'l Park. Parking was easy.

The only lock on the room door used an old style skeleton key and there wasn't any other way to unlock it - was difficult and could be quite a hazard in the event of a fire or something like that. The time available for in-person check-ins was only 3 hours, but sounds like they will send the door code if you're arriving later, so probably isn't much of an issue.

Spacious, fair quality furniture. The bed size is as advertised: 190-210 cm wide, which was an important selection criteria for us. Easy parking onsite. The breakfast was fair (such as full Irish), the selection for the self catering part although too limited.

It was a bit unfriendly that personal checkin is limited for 2,5 hours timeframe (3:30 to 6MPM). The mattress was a bit soft for us - but being not a big issue.

As it names states Tudor lodge, is a mock Tudor building, a lot of wooden beams. Breakfast is an additional charge. Food well cooked and good quality. Less than 5 minutes from Glendalough. Nice gardens/patio area to sit out on a fine evening.

That the latest check in was 6pm, unfortunately we had to detour due to an accident and subsequent road closure, left us in a bit of a panic to ensure we arrived in time.

Perfect location near Glendalough. The bed was luxurious - so comfy! Friendly host. Walking distance to the 2 restaurants in town. Only bad thing is that you could hear neighbors walking around but that was trumped by quiet hours which were very much observed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

As mentioned in “what do you like about the property”, you can hear the neighbors walking/moving around. But everyone was quiet during the “quiet hours”.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, delicious full hot breakfast and spacious room.

Window in the bathroom should have a curtain to cover at least the lower half of the window to allow for more privacy. Couldn't get warm water from the bathroom sink because the hot and cold water faucets operate separately.
