Ann was a wonderful hostess - accommodating and kind, since we added an adult daughter to our stay at the last moment. A great cook and baker with a varied and delicious breakfast - from fruit to fresh hot scones. The room and bath were spotless and comfortable. Hairdryer, toiletries, tea/coffee fixings, and plenty of towels were a plus. The room was cleaned and sorted for our second day. The house is lovely, bright, and very welcoming - it has a cozy sitting room as well. Plenty of off-street parking. Plenty of lovely flowers. Very convenient to Glendalough and Glenmalure, our destinations, it is located about 1 mile from the village of Rathdrum with a choice of eateries. Wicklow, a lovely town of 10 thousand, is located 20 minutes away and has everything you could need. We warmly recommend Ann to anyone and herself and Lettermore Country Home without reservation

Only reservation: We asked for a triple, so there was a single bed in addition to a double. This met our needs perfectly, but the room size is more suited for the double only.

The lady of the house gave us a very warm friendly welcome throughout our stay,it was a very comfortable and quiet home 2 km fom the town.We eat in two of the recommended places Jacobs well and Bates The bedroom was perfect ,tea and coffee provided each day exactly what we needed whilst visiting Co Wicklow. It was better than any 5 star hotel.Lovely dining room and breakfast each morning were perfect with homemade brown bread ,toast scones, and cake! There were many choices from the menu from continental to the full Irish with tea and coffee.

Everything was perfect for us a great place to stay

Very welcoming host with good tips about the Wicklow Mountain area. A great (cooked) breakfast menu with lots for every taste. From the B&B we had a walk to the Avondale House, Treetop walk in the nearby woods. On a short drive from Glendalough Wicklow Mountains.

For a couple, the bed is a bit small (width), but any larger would not fit in the room. There is hoever a large living room in the complex that one can use with comfortabele sofa and chairs.

Wonderful service. The most friendly helpful people you could ever stay with. Spotless clean, breakfast amazing. Full Irish second to none, omelettes perfect, french toast to die for as they say. Hot tea, toast, cereals, continental everything. Rooms perfect for guest house en suite new and vibrant. Lots of parking but lots of cars also so full but everyone looked after so no problems. I will go back

Everything was perfect for a guest house but of course versus a 5 star hotel room space was smaller, but not an issue.

Everything was just great! Meeting Ann, who was so welcoming and friendly. The room was bright and airy and the bed so comfortable. Breakfast was super too, with lovely home made scones & jam to finish. Would highly recommend staying at Lettermore Country Home, as its an ideal base for visiting Mount Usher in Ashford and Beyond the Trees in Avondale.

There was nothing that we didn't like. All was great.

From the moment we arrived Anne was so welcoming and gave us tips on great places to eat and visit. Her home is lovely, clean and bright and convenient. The breakfast was fantastic and we must mention the freshy baked scones and breads every morning. We had a lovely stay and Anne was so helpful in getting us sorted with an extra room when we had an unexpected visitor come to stay. She went above and beyond to put us at ease and help us out. Thank you.

Anne's B&B is spotless, very comfortable beds, it is a very bright house, and warm. The dining room where we had the breakfast also very charming and bright. Well insulated from the noise. We could only stay one night because my family has to take a flight at the following day, if not, very happy if we could stay one night more. The place is a walking distance 20-30 mins from Rathdrum, but you can safely walk the footpath along the road. The breakfast was also superb. And Anne was very kind with all of us amd she offered us to book our dinner in Rathdrum, where we enjoyed a very tasty dinner in a lovely place too. We went to Glendalough at the following morning - short drive 20 mins to the West, and later we went to Britta's Bay, which is also very convenient located - 30 mins driving from Glendalough. I would strongly recommend you to spend your time in Anne's home to enjoy of Co.Wicklow.

Breakfast, quiet, clean, helpful and fun landlady

Our room was a little small, we didn't have quite enough space for our bags and since we stayed for 5 nights, it would have been better to be able to unpack and put the cases in a closet. But it was comfortable and we dealt with it fine.

Great location. Quiet, clean room with all the facilities we needed. Ann was a wonderful host. Chatty and entertaining, but a good listener too. She provided great advice on dining locally. There is an extensive selection of breakfast options and the Full Irish was one of the best. The B&B was full but it didn't feel busy or crowded. It's on a main road but no noise and felt like it was away in the country.

The host,Anne,was extremely professional,easy to talk to and a wonderful host. The bedroom was clean. Breakfast excellent choice as for example on the Saturday morning we knew that we were running a parkrun at 9.30 am locally so Anne cooked us a quickly prepared omelette as requested.
