We were at a wedding and the food and service was great. Location is beautiful.

I found the ceremony roo. And bathroom where the wedding was, was absolutely freezing. Our room was cold when we entered and it was such a cold time if year it should have been on. We turned it on ourselves and got warm after.

Clearly the Hotel had been updated as very clean and new looking inside. Golf course looked great, but a shame you're not allowed to have a walk around unless playing gold. Views over lake were lovely and in the sun the grounds were amazing.

Food choice wasn't great especially at breakfast. If you're a veggie or Vegan then it's very limited. Breakfast was meat, meat, meat, egg or potatos, so limited again. first day at breakfast I was essentialy ignored, so sat myself & had to go and ask for a coffee.

A beautiful and romantic spot located within minutes drive of a lot. Restaurant, located on-site, was great and staff were wonderful. Views are great! This location was owned by a family I was friendly with as a kid and it was so nice to return to the spot where I hung out as a teenager.

Room smelled of cigarettes even though they say they have a strict no smoking policy. I did advise reception of the smoke smell situation the minute we walked into the room and I never heard anything back from them until I was checking out. The staff advised management would be in touch with me and the reception staff did apologize profusely. I never heard from anyone in management.

Breakfast was superb, and the staff are out of this world!

The location and views and the friendliness of the staff. Excellent service. There was a problem with 2/3 things in the bathroom ( broken flush and toilet seat not fixed) however when we told them these were corrected. It rained alot when we were there and it was great that umbrellas were provided.

When we booked we thought we had booked a ground floor room in the hotel. However we seemed to have been upgraded to the Manor House and a 'suite' on the second floor, which was actually two big rooms. Disappointed that we had to report the problems in the bathroom as I would have thought that should have been checked prior to arrival. Beautiful rooms however the window in the bathroom is clear glass overlooking the small car park so you have to make sure that you stand well away when getting out of the shower etc!! Not sure how this can be overcome in an old building.

Other than the central location to the Wicklow mountains and the beautiful villages surrounding, above all else the staff made it by far a trip to remember. Attention to detail from the chefs and an amuse bouche to start the dining experience off with a bang. Beautiful evening and beautiful people there to do their best for you. Happily return

You can't stop progression and even though facilities works were ongoing for our short stay the staff and management were very apologetic. I believe that may have even been represented in the very delicious price for two people to stay with breakfast.

Excellent hotel, I have stayed in hotels on the Continent and in the US but I think this one is one of the best if not the best. Don't expect convenient public transport, this hotel is in a beautiful location in rural and picturesque Wicklow with a top class golf course.

A swimming pool would be nice but I guess that is more than offset with the really nice golf course.

Breakfast was good. Bed and bedroom was comfortable. It was clean. News Papers supplied was great. Location of bedroom was quiet and still close to reception and bar and restaurant. Late breakfast at weekend

Gardener blowing leaves and cutting lawns early on the weekend. Drunk people ‘singing’ (more like shouting) in the bar and no one asked them to keep it down. Location according to booking.com was 8km from our event but it actually was 18km that was dissolved

Very spacious room. Brought to our room from the main reception by golf cart which was a nice accommodation. The grounds are beautiful and the views are stunning. The breakfast was delicious. Great menu with lots of choices and accommodations were made that were not on the menu, always a bonus!

The WIFI in the room was very poor. The tea/coffee facilities could be better. There were no other toiletries in the bathroom only handsoap and bodywash.

Staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much. breakfast is excellent and a great choice as is getting dinner in the bar. Twin room very comfortable as was bathroom with power shower.

small issue - I knew it was under refurbishment- it could have done with security light or similar outside of hotel block as was very dark - easily fixed
