The rooms are surprisingly spacious and well furnished. Decent size fridge in the room and lots of shelving and space to put things. Nice sized television and couch. Staff was great, especially Carmit, who was so helpful throughout my stay. In a country that has zero concept of decent customer service, Carmit was a refreshing change. The Reception area is nice, modern. The location is really up to you. It’s not on the water. I, however, like the location because it’s right off the main road with tons of shops and restaurants and mostly kosher. Next door is a 24 hour pizza shop, that closes only on shabbos. And It only takes a few minutes to get to The water. Parking, while totally strange in ways only Israeli’s can create, was actually ample.

The balcony is really small. It barely fits a person, and getting a chair out there was a task. Left me wondering where’s the rest of the balcony?

We booked last minute because we had trouble getting across the Jordan border and had to find somewhere to stay unexpectedly. But we arrived to a warm welcome, Ida on the front desk knew we were coming, had rooms sorted and got us checked in quickly. We had a long day and she really took care of us, making sure that we had what we needed for the night and arranging breakfast for us the next day. We were so grateful to Ida for level of service but also the kindness she showed to weary travellers.

Very confortable and quiet room, fresh towels and shower gel in the bathroom. Coffee and water is provided for free in the room. Down the lobby you get fresh cold water for free. The staff is friendly and helpful. Supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. Very close to the central bus station. 10 min walk to the beach and stores. We had a pleasant stay.

The area around the pool could be a bit nicer.

A staff member, Ilona, greeted us upon our arrival with a glass of champaign, and offered us a free upgrade. That put us in a large room overlooking the pool area, with a view of the sea in the background. That pool, and its setting, were both beautiful and restful. When we asked the desk attendant for a recommendation for a dinner restaurant, her suggestion was wonderful (Pastoris's). The next morning, the breakfast was exceptional. The selections were abundant, freshly prepared, and beautifully displayed. Everything was delicious. Having cold water and lemonade available at all times for guests was a plus in the hot weather. Finding a bottle of sparkling water in our room was a nice surprise, as were robes and slippers. We requested a late checkout, and were generously given that extra time. Upon our departure, travel bottles of water were offered for free, along with a packets of nuts to munch on. Clearly, the Palms is getting is right all the way around. Itzik, the general manager, was very available and eager to help in any way. Our stay was so delightful, and our location so close to the Sea, that we have decided to gift our son and his family with a short holiday at the Palms sometime in the near future. I will be eager to return to Israel. When I head to Eilat again, the Palms will be where I stay.

Adding a full length mirror to the room, and slip strips to the bottom of the bathtub, were the only two minor suggestions that I made. I would change nothing else.

I want to praise first of all Shoval the receptionist shift manager, second Alaa from the Household department and Sheila the Security women and Ahmed the dining room manager all of those do their job above the expectation, But all the hotel employees from the first to the last whom I had the chance to encounter do an amazing job and my stay was amazing thanks to them. It is important to remember that good service it is the most important thing.

Staff was very helpful, good size room, modern decoration, clean, nice swimming pool, room very confortable.

Aircondition control panel was old, could not see the tempretures and so how to control or change it, also it required force to prss on-off button. The bath room is dated and feels not very clean. The location is not ideal but OK for the price. On shabbat no cafe or resturant - that's very annoying. Confusion direction signes from parking to the hotel.

the staff were amazing! Anat and Stephanie on arrival were lovely and Shoval at check out was friendly and helpful. I also noticed Tigran dealing with other guests who were not so happy and he dealt with it very calmly and professionally

i got stuck in the toilets at the swimming pool and it wasn’t very clean in that specific area. I also noticed some of the paint finishing wasn’t perfect.

The location was great, near the center. Can easily reach everything. It was quiet in night. Has a parking lot just under the building, very convenient.

The breakfast lobby has poor ventilation. The smoke from the omelet-making area filled the entire lobby. My cloth was fully permeated with the smell within 20 minutes while I was eating there. That day I had a business meeting and I smelled like a burned kitchen which made me so embarrassed.

The hotel is in the centrum, bus station, shops, car rental companies all close. Good starting point. The staff was really professional and kind, always trying to fulfill all wishes. Their attitude was excellent. The breakfast was superb, with wide selection of food.

The building could use a renovation. It's not terrible though and the price of the room compensates a lot.
