Abraham Eilat

The hostel is great, clean and wonderful position.

Unfortunately Tomer the staff at the desk was rude and unpleasant. When asked if check out after Sabbath was optional with additional payment he rudely told me Abraham Hostels don't cater and target religious audiences. During check in we waited 40 minutes while he had ongoing conversation with a group checking in. They were joking about sexual harassment issues, reccomended bars, where to meet hot girls ect...all while my young daughter and I were waiting patiently. When I politely implied that we are waiting close to 40 minutes and perhaps they could chat later he snapped at me and told to wait my turn. Our check in took 5 min. SUGGESTION TO TRAIN STAFF NOT BEHAVE LIKE 16 YEAR OLDS AT A PUB. YOUNG ATMOSPHERE DOESNT EQUAL CHEEKY AND VULGAR.

Me and my friend stayed for 8 days. Everything was wonderful. Big hostel - 5 floors, clean rooms, a lot of sitting and chilling areas and even a swimming pool and a bar. The staff are all very kind and patient and the prices are good. The location is one short bus ride from every main attraction. Overall the vibe of the place is very friendly and positive.

The breakfast is quite plain and not so varied. There was a night when the intire place was full of school kids and it was very loud. The shower doesn't have a window

Breakfast - although I don’t know if we were just lucky as there was a volleyball team there that seemed to get special food. Bar staff gave nice recommendations for snorkelling.

They don't take personal data and credit card information security seriously! They had a security breach and I got a ton of phishing emails - that asked for my credit card number. It seemed this was nothing unusual for this hostel as nobody at the reception mentioned anything! I remember noticing phishing email, and do not remember giving my credit card info. And yet there's an extra charge on my credit card to Abraham Hostel Eilat for 220€! Update: The hostel responded very kindly and apologised for the security breach. We are refunded for our stay and I reported the extra charge as a online phishing scam to my credit card company. I updated the rating to reflect their response.

The stay was amazing! Was expecting an hostel style stay, and got high quality 3-4 start hotel stay. The breakfast is full of options from cornflakes, salads, pasta, tuna salad, variety of cheese and various types of breads. The pool is partially covered which was important during the summer time, The location is 10 minutes walk from the main promenade and main restaurants. The staff is friendly and attentive. There is a parking lot which happens to be available during the day right next to the hostel for free. In conclusion, i'm glad i was able to save $ and have a decent stay in Eilat and didn't have to break the bank for the same type of activities (Which was mainly going out to eat, some pool time and beaches).

There is nothing much to dislike in my opinion. The pool probably should be available for more hours, but also maybe not (if you want the kids to leave).

1. Communication: Extremely helpful staff. Whatsapp & emails quick responding, English spoken very well. Informative website and IG. 24h desk open. 2. Location: next to restaurants. 20mins walk to the beach. Bus stations close by. 6mins drive to Jordanian border (by taxi). Free street parking. 3. Wi-Fi: fast, everywhere. 4. Bathroom: very clean bathroom, towels provided and changed when necessary for free. 5. Kitchen: didn’t use kitchen facilities but available, massive kitchen! coffee and tea for free, water stations everywhere. 6. Bedroom: dorm of 6, bed already made for you. comfortable mattress, AC in the bedroom. Safe and secure. 7. Shared Area: 10/10. BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN FOR A HOSTEL. New rooftop, very clean swimming pool (10-5pm). Massive communal area. Beautiful, artistic design. 2 bars available. Lots of activities within the hostel. 8. Meals: traditional Middle Eastern breakfast (included in price) Lunch- all you can eat. Very healthy, filling, delicious. 9. Accessibility: multiple lifts available, disabled access everywhere 10. Price: £35 11. Overall impression: AMAZING hostel. Everything about it is beautiful.

Good location for transportation - next to the central bus station and a free public sheltered car park. The whole pace is very new and in good condition with a great vibe. The 4-bed dorm room has two single beds (not bunk) which is a great plus. Private toilet and showers. Clean beds. Helpful staff. Actors from a local theater came to the hostel and put on an excellent show.

Shower was a little cramped, showerhead had to be held be hand, and didn't feel very clean.

Everything was perfect - location, staff and the place itself. Hostel is located next to the bus station, which was super convienient for us. Nice restaurants are 10-15min walk away. You can easily get to snorkeling beaches by public transport. Kitchen and loundry room are available. Also, drinking water is available for guest, so there is no need to use many plastic bottels. Every evening some activities are organized (you can paint, dance etc.). Plus the hostel bar is open till 11:00 pm. The place definitelly exceed our expectations.

Abraham is made BY people FOR the people! This little gem of a hostel provides more than I've got in many Hotels I stayed in! Amazing interior design. More than great staff! Everything is welcoming, fun, hype, clean, neat, smiling, and enjoyable. In the center of Eilat city with easy access to all.

No parking. Paying for parking is a bummer and there's not much around. If you're coming by bus it is not a problem at all. That's really all.

Beds were comfy and it was clean. Laundry room great, kitchen nice though it could have had more sharp knives. The location is close to the central bus station and a few minutes walk to the beach and supermarkets.

I didn't like that there were no curtains at the bed, it would be easy to add some. Also, there were a lot of families, and therefore, the pool was always packed with little kids.

The place is nice and welcoming. facilities are simple but very convenient. We had everything we needed, breakfast is simple, nothing special but fairly cheap. and you can easily make your own if you want to save a bit..
