If you are reading this review then you know that this is a cheap hotel. No pool, no gym, and instead of a 2 minute walk to the beach you have a 10 minute walk to the beach. No frills. NOTE about location - yeah, this is not in the 'touristy' part of Eilat. But there are multiple excellent inexpensive eateries VERY close by filled with Eilat locals who KNOW good food and good value. Yum.... As for cheap hotels, this is one of the BEST. Why? It is NEW and it is extremely CLEAN. I would MUCH rather have a 100% clean room with NO frills, than even a SLIGHTLY dirty and/or 'old-feeling' room - yuck. I stayed a FULL week and I STILL liked it. I am not writing "good only for one night" - this was great for a FULL week. Whenever you go to a cheap hotel, there is a RISK. I report that there is NO DOWNSIDE of staying in the Sahara. I hereby give you PERMISSION to SAVE your money, sleep in an extremely clean [and new and/or recently renovated room] I would stay here again WITHOUT hesitation. NOTE - I also enjoy (and have the funds for) expensive hotels with amenities, but sometimes I enjoy saving my money even more. For this vacation, I skipped the hotel-gym and bought a one-week membership [for NIS 100] in "Fitness Facilities center Eilat" - great gym 8 minute walk. I skipped the hotel-pool and swam in the amazing Red Sea.

Nothing. Everything was EITHER as expected OR better than excepted. Not ONE spec of dirt. I am the kind of fellow that even ONE spec of dirt would make my very angry. Well, it was 100% clean. No breakfast, no pool, no gym but CLEAN. That's VALUE.

Very friendly staff. We arrived early and they stored our luggage until check in. They don't offer breakfast but have a deal with a cafe near them for some breakfast at a set price. The reception sell coupons but we did not avail of this. The hotel location is approx 20mins or so away from the main boulevard and the street itself is very run down. However, the hotel itself is nice and the rooms are clean with a fridge and some complimentary bottles of water. The air con works perfectly and rooms have a large tv though we didn't use ours during our stay. We liked it and would happily stay again.

The bathroom is quite small, especially the shower and it is hard not to wet the whole floor when showering. The only window in the bedroom is a small horizontal window above the door so it may be slightly claustrophobic if you were staying for a long time.

First to greet us was a super friendly Maya at the front desk. My friend and I arrived 3 hours earlier than the check-in time and Maya tried her best to accommodate us. She gave useful advice which helped a lot. Any issue or problem brought to her attention was immediately addressed pleasantly. The cleaning lady was excellent as well. The room was comparatively low cost, clean, convenient and comfortable. I highly recommend Sahara Hotel. 👌

I especially liked the guidance I got by email from your staff on my journey. My trip down to Eilat was marked by a long delay the my flight from Ben-Gurion. (I am not kidding. A bus would have been quicker.) I felt that your staff was guiding me on my journey. I also enjoyed the views of the city from my room, especially at dusk and at night.

The Sahara Eilat was the only "non-luxury" hotel I stayed at during this trip to Israel. Nevertheless, it made no secret of its limits, and I enjoyed my stay and I feel I got my money's worth.

The perfect little silent place for travellers that doesn't take the whole wardrobe with them. We stayed for 1 night during the weekend. Perfect for sudden decisions. The was enough place in the room for 4 people (3 adult, one teen), nice and clean room

There wasn't enough parking lots for everyone, so we had to look for it. The hotel is in building area, so there are no restaurants open during the shabbat nearby, only at the seashore, that is in 30 minutes walking. In the room there was only 2 chairs for 4 people.

the rooms were very clean, and were cleaned every day. staff were very nice and helped with every question. Overall the room isn't big but new and comfortable. close to central station and city center

one issue was no basic cooking/ eating supplies except a fridge - there weren't forks, plates, ect, which is fine for short visits but not so for longer (mine was 1 week). the beach isn't so close (15 min walk) - but many buses to all of the best beaches.

The hotel is new so it's perfectly clean, the rooms are very cosy, beds are awesome and very comfortanle, excellent air conditioning, very silent outside, near the hotel there is a bunch of good restaurants and a bakery. It takes like 20 min to go to the city center by foot or 20 nis using taxi. Perfect for the sum of money paid

It seemed to me that the water in the shower cabin could flow away through the drain system a little bit faster as it actually did

Modern hotel in the city, quiet place, nice yard. Super comfortable bed. Clean room with nice facilities. Tea & coffee availiable. Happy that hotel has a sustainable drinking fountain. Good Wifi.

There is going watter all over the bathroom when showering. The room is small, with a big luggage is very tight. The sutrounding of the hotel isn't any beautiful, from one said there is a squat house and other reconstructions.

Close to the central bus station, a short cart ride from the north beach. the room facilities where all new since it was recently renovated. great value for money and very nice stuff. even the water stream in the shower was perfect.

we had free parking right in front of the hotel, but i don't know if this will be the case in high season.

We took economy room for 3 people (separate beds) was cozy, with enough space for all of us. Free coffee and tea at reception. Warm and helpful staff, available 24\7. Free parking.

Could use a bigger wardrobe, with 2-3 more hangers.
