Good location. Near public bus transportation, grocery shopping and synagogues. 20 minutes via bus to center of Jerusalem.

No bomb shelter on premises. People were smoking outside near A/C I take - need a no smoking sign outside basement rooms. I was locked out of the hotel one night when I came back after midnight (security code was supposed to work, but didn’t. Fortunately, I called the 24-hour number and manager came in less than 30 minutes to let me in.

Breakfast was fine. It was not 5* but we did not expect that. It was certainly value for the money spent. We appreciated the quick appearance and plentiful HOT water when we bathed or showered or shaved. The location was GREAT. Bus lines on both major streets took us everywhere we wanted to go that was too far to walk. The staff was very accomodating. We will certainly give serious consideration to staying there again next time we visit--which we hope will be SOON.

Comfortable, great location. The hotel is quirky and kind of fun. There are lots of stairs, so anyone with mobility issues should be aware. Staff was helpful, though.

When we have stayed in the past, breakfast was complimentary, but they said it wasn't available due to the war. I understand, but missed it. The hotel is in a great place, but the halls were loud in the morning when other guests allowed their kids to run up and down yelling at 6 a.m. I did enjoy hearing the voices of young children at this time, but it did wake me up.

It has a lot more PROS than con's..the staff was wonderful!! The breakfast was good..it was the same stuff for the most part, but they had a variety so it worked. The location is central and easy to get a ride by taxi or by bus..the room has everything we needed, simple; since we used it to sleep and shower. It could be updated some, but it has a nice atmosphere to it. Love the outside patio (front and back)with seating and It has a flower garden to boot. They were very good to us. Hospitality, kindness and social is a good mixture to have personal and business. Next stay with be there again. Enjoy!

For us, the location was good. The room was simple, but more than sufficient for our needs. We were looking for a nice place to sleep after an event in Jerusalem. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, with a good variety of salads, eggs, baked goods, fish, and vegetables.

The building interior is a little tired-looking. There is no elevator to the second floor where our room was - not a problem for us, but those with mobility issues should take note.

OK...the property is a historic building and the standard rooms are a bit small but the location is great and the people are great and the breakfast is great and the outdoor sitting area is great. What more can you ask for at the price paid?

This is not a fancy hotel, but it is clean, the staff is very capable and kind. The breakfasts are excellent. This neighborhood, like much of Jerusalem observes Shabbat and holidays. Restaurants and shops are closed from Friday afternoon through Saturday night or Sunday morning. Plan meals accordingly.

I have been staying here for years and I will again. No complaints.

Checking in was easy once I realized the info was in a WhatsApp message. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

It was a little hard to get coffee when breakfast was busy.

The breakfast was so nice and the room was very comfortable! Staff was friendly and helpful.

It was noisy a few nights because of parties going on. The room had a slight smell, maybe it needed some air freshener.

Room was on the 1st floor and private and quiet. Had a balcony. Breakfast is simply the best with so many salads, cheese variety, eggs, cereal, breads, etc. It is the best I have ever had. Great person in charge. Hotel was in walking distance of family location with several restaurants, shops and groceries. Just a great location for us. Was on a bus line and bank across the street.

Everything was perfect.
