You will not find a better location in the Old City than this. Located in the beautiful Jewish Quarter, everything is within easy walking distance. The breakfast was superb with a nice variety of items. Thanks to Chef for specially making me a spicy omelette every morning. Our room was lovely with a feel for the history of the city and a spectacular view. The bed was very comfortable. Many thanks to Josephine, Andre, Sahag, Amani, and so many others that made our visit pleasant during a very difficult time in Israel. I would have been happy to stay longer and hope to once again stay with the fantastic staff at the Sephardic House.

The staff were very attentive and responded promptly and positively to requests or questions.

First, we were upgraded for free. However, there was a smell of sewer and they sent someone to spray some deodorant. That was unacceptable on many levels and I thought I would have a problem with them. that did not happen though. I told they they didn’t fix anything and I wanted another room. I figured they would just move me back to my reserved room, but to their credit, they readily moved me into another upgraded room and this room was great.

A quiet location in the Jewish Quarter. Easy to walk(some cobblestones) to other areas of the old town and prominent sites within the walls and restaurants. Substantial Israeli breakfast served in a lovely interior courtyard. Room very comfortable with option of fresh air(windows open). View of Mount of Olives from front terrace plus access to wall rampart.

Kind staff and clean room. The breakfast was excellent. When we asked, the staff immediately changed towels and bed linen. The hotel's location is perfect for pilgrims who want to visit holy sites.

Our room was too near the entrance, and it was noisy.

Stunning looking and staff were amazing. Rooms were gorgeous. Location, well you'd be hard pressed to improve on it in the old town. Breakfast was lovely too. It's very nearly an amazing hotel except for a few small but important points.

Not particularly accessible, you have to go up and down a large flight of stairs to get to the breakfast room with no alternative route. Only one lift which is switched off during Shabbat. Shower was also very slippy (although gorgeous to look at!). If you have mobility issues you should definitely avoid booking here. Also be aware there's no bar if that's your thing.

it’s very central! it’s in the old Jewish quarter in typical old guest house of long gone times wonderful renovated. Loved my room, the inner courtyard, its sitting area. Felt very welcomed!

I didn’t like the atmosphere and interior decorating of the restaurant-sorry to say! In sharp contrast to the elegant courtyard. It felt a bit like a waiting area with its cold lighting! It would be a great plus to do it up a bit- wall colour, lamps and no stuff standing around in corners.

We stayed in a deluxe room overlooking the court yard restaurant. I think our room was recently refurbished because it looked very clean and smart. Breakfast was superb and the staff were very helpful - one of them let me borrow his own umbrella when it rained heavily.

Beautiful, clean room. The staff was lovely and kind. A bottle of wine and two glasses in the room, and water bottles during the day. It was very quiet at night.

The location was excellent. Minutes from the western wall, and places to eat were just a short walk away. There are two sections of the hotel. Our room was standard, still a good size and comfortable however, if you can afford it, go the upgrade. The rooms were much larger and well worth the price.

We arrived on the sabbath and no taxis or cars could drive us to the hotel. We had to drag our luggage over cobblestone from Jaffa gate which was quite the struggle. Then we couldn’t find the entrance. It’s up the small steps just to the side of the building. There isn’t an iron in the room, I had to take all my ironing down to an ironing room which was rather underwhelming.
