Location wise its right opposite to the Light rail stop of Damascus Gate, about 30 sec walk to Damascus gate or Old City. Its walking distance to Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Garden Tomb is in the rear Street 2 minutes walk, and the Al- Aqsa Mosque/Temple Mount. Well connected with the public transport to Central Bus and Train Station. There are so many resturants ranging from quick bite on the go or dine in. So many food choice. There are grocery, mobile phone/sim card and other shops around littrelly Room was nice, well lit with natural light with a view. Nice curtains to block the light and provide privacy when required. Power socket was close to the bed and of good number. Have a Free WIFI, a common are with Tea/Coffe facility. U can sit in the area or go on the terrace with the view of old city. Mattres was very comfortable with mattress covering, bed sheet and comforter. Bed sheets, pillow case very cleaned and pressed. Pillows were very comfortable. Toiletires were provided. Shower have both hot and cold water. Staff is very helpful in guiding you around. They do there best to resolve any issue and provide you with the best HONEST advice. Reception is 24 Hrs Overall nothing to complaint about.

The accommodation offers great value for money. The staff is extremely welcoming and always willing to help. All my wishes regarding additional requirements (extra blankets, extra towels) were met. Coffee and tea are always available, the location is ideal for exploring both the old city and the new city center. However, you should know that this is a budget accommodation, however they really try to make the experience as good as possible. My goal was to have my own room with private bathroom in a good location for as little money as possible and this was definitely met. If you are looking for something similar, I would definitely recommend it.
No bad experiences. Once again, I would stress that you should look at the photos and read what they actually offer, so that there are no unnecessary disappointments.

Location, location, location This place has the perfect location if you are coming to Jerusalem to visit the Old City, just a 5 minutes walking distance to the Western Wall, 3 minutes to the Garden Tomb, across Damascus Gate. I walked all over Jerusalem day and night , very very convenient. Two minutes to the light train, buses to Bethlehem and other places just across the street. Restaurant, Groceries store, Western Union, Bakery, fruits , everything just on the street. You can take the light train from Jerusalem Central Station. Taxis just right there They also provide coffee, a microwave and a refrigerator so guests can use it, good Wi Fi. The bed was comfortable.
Depending on the bedroom, in summer time, please make sure you book a bedroom with AC, sometimes it doesn't say when you book, and will be awful without. Also make sure if you are booking just a bed in a shared room , that will be without AC and sharing the bedroom with 6 or 7 more people each in a bunk bed and shared bathroom if that is what you want or can afford, it is okay, if the price is too good to be true, it will be probably a bunk bed The bathrooms are very very small, and not very clean at least the one where I stayed, but have hot water and good water pressure. There can be a little noise depending on the room you stay in.

The most perfect location, a very affordable price, I had single room with my own shower and toilet, the bedding was fresh and the bed good strong comfortable foam in mint condition. I enjoyed my interaction with all the staff and thier unique dry humour 🙂great fun, and they gave me great guidence throughout my 10 day stay with them, making sure I had problem free stay, and to finish off the hotel will arrange a very affordable Nesher taxi back to the airport for you. Big thumbs up from me 👍
I have no dislikes, total value for the money I paid.

You cannot get any closer to old Jerusalem!! You can see the walls from the window and you're literally, one minute walk away from the Damascus Gate. It's super convenient!!! We came with the 234 from the "other side" and it was only 100 meters walk to get to the hostel. And upon return, only a few hundred meters to the tram to go to the station. Suuuuper convenient. The place itself is an old hostel (huge, by the way) so don't expect anything flashy, but it's nicely maitained and clean. The owner and the facility manager are super kind and helpful. You enter through a veggie/fruit shop (so you can grab some vitamins on the way up or down) and, despite the hustle outside, we didn't have any problems to sleep with noise, as it quietens in the evening. Bed and pillows are comfy.
The only thing that was a bit messy was the bathroom. As it's quite small, the shower really flooded the floor and it went outside towards the room (could not make it go through the draininig system, as it was in the bathroom, not in the room) so I had to dry it with towels. So just be careful when showering and see how you can dodge the flood. Apart from that, all great!

Location, location, location is everything.
Construction @ all hours of t night was a problem with my 1st room which had a window overlooking t street & Damascus Gate. After protesting they quickly, with stealth, moved me to a private room @ t back of t building - bravi, brava, bravo! T problem now was that there was no window to t outside world. I settled that issue by leaving my door open a crack overnight, allowing fresh air from hallway windows to permeate my humble abode! Much cheaper than a hotel!

It was a solid no frills experience -- affordable, well-located, with friendly staff. "If you are looking for luxury, you have come to the wrong place". But the facilities were clean enough, the staff were kind and helpful, and the location has the old city and great eating options right outside the door.
There was construction around the Damascus Gate intersection at the time, which created a bit of noise. Of course this issue was outside the hotel's control.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The price is affordable and considering the location and Proximity to the old city it is very good. Complimentary tea/coffee making facilities was a nice bonus. Beds are comfortable. Clean.
When showering some of the water would leak outwards. Not a big deal as it didn't flood. Not a negative but might be good for business if there was breakfast available.

This place is right next to Damascus Gate, the light-rail station and both bus stations (the one for Bethlehem & the one for Mount of Olives). The Al-Ayed Arabic restaurant serving great food at sensible prices is right next door. The staff are very warm and accommodating and the mattresses are good quality. Yes, the hotel is a bit run down but better places are at least 50% more expensive and considerably further away from the old city which would involve expensive taxi rides. Here you can walk to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in 10 mins! For us, location was everything and we stayed here twice.
Our room was in the eaves and had only a light well at floor level for natural light (some rooms have no windows at all but we found that often to be the case in cheaper places in Israel)
