During our stay the facility was almost empty due to the current situation in Gaza, which was a shame because the people we spoke with (Christian, Muslim, and Jew) all very much in favor of the elimination of the Hamas terror. Israel wants peace, but is unwilling to sacrifice their existence or to submit to their own destruction. Go and visit Jerusalem. It is the center of the world. You will not be disappointed.

They could have turned on the A/C . In the afternoon our room was warm, but once we opened the windows the afternoon breeze was sufficient to cool the room.

I was very pleased with my stay despite difficult circumstances due to the war that developed while we were visiting. The location is excellent as it is a walk across the street to the New Gate at the Old City. I felt safe during the conflict. The facilities were clean. The food was solid. The staff were very helpful and easy to communicate with, and they were especially helpful with arranging transport out of the country and providing guidance as flights were cancelled out of Tel Aviv.

No complaints.

Just next to New Gate and Jaffa Road! The semi-closed off area felt like an oasis in the city with a small bistro and cafe. Has a great roof-top restaurant with breathtakingly view of the old city. Staff is very kind and helpful, and has good English-speaking skills! The breakfast buffet was very good. Evening buffet also very good and varied.

Not enough parking-spaces available, with lots of tour-busses making entry even harder (both expected and manageable - but dont bring a car unless you absolutely have to!). Some of the rooms face Al Mozllen-road, but not too big a problem!

This hotel is a very short walk from New Gate which provides excellent access to the Old City. It is also close to the Light Railway (tram) station. It has a great roof terrace with views over the Old City and the Dome of the Rock. It is a beautiful building with lovely rooms (some with terraces) and all the facilities one might need. The bed linen and pillows are high quality. So often, these days, a hotel is disappointing but this one is excellent and hard to fault. Frankly, it must be one of the best places to stay in Jerusalem.

It really is difficult to fault this hotel

Located just by the New Gate into the old city and at the head of Jaffa Street, the Notre Dame of Jerusalem location is second to none. Being close to the light rail station means exploring further afield is also easy. The hotel is small enough to feel at home but not too small, and the team is amiable and helpful, even on the busy days leading to Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, there is no better place to experience it in Jerusalem than the Notre Dame of Jerusalem.

The breakfast buffet was basic. We found it sufficient as we traveled with kids, but you may want to explore the nearby New Gate Street cafes for more inspiring options. Also, while our suites were spacious, check whether simpler rooms are large enough for you.

The location and if you drove to Jerusalem the free parking. The breakfast is great and the manager that helped us with our first night issue.

The first night was terrible, our room’s A/C was not working and the construction outdoor was just noisy. The gentleman at night couldn’t do anything and said “it is 2am nothing else I can do” he was also on his phone playing a game while I waited on the elevator. The manager the next day moved us to a better room.

The hotel is located in the center of Jerusalem, right in front of the New Gate and has its own parking so we didn't need to take a car or taxi to get to the Old City. It was very convenient. My special thanks to the staff who were very helpful and resolved my case where I had booked one room but arrived unexpectedly with my parents and they found the best rooms close to each other at the best price which suited us perfectly. Thank you once again, Murad, Susie and others! The food was very tasty - both the included breakfasts and the Allegro restaurant. The cleaning service was just fine and invisible. Also we had a kettle in the room, a set of different teas and coffees, a coffee machine with capsules and a mini-fridge. It was very unexpected and pleasant. So I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. See you soon, Norte Dame Center!

Everything was just fine!

The hotel is uniquely located at the junction between Jerusalem of old and new, within walking distance of many major touristic sites, restaurants and shops. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a terrace offering a unique view of the Old City of Jerusalem. There are 3 restaurants: 2 on the main floor and the Rooftop Cheese and Wine Restaurant with one of the most spectacular views across the Jerusalem skyline. The food is good for the price. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely go back!

The hotel could offer bottled water in the rooms — rather inconvenient to have to purchase them at the restaurant.

Amazing property, located just 2 minutes away from the New Gate to the Old Town, a must-go-place in Jerusalem. The hotel is an amazing building from the XIX century, with amazing views and facilities, located in a top place that enjoys incredible views of all East Jerusalem. The staff members were very helpful with us. The room was very clean, espacious, comfortable and with an incredible terrace with all its XIX-century style. Definitely a landmark on its own. The hotel is home to many Catholic people coming to see the land, which gives good vibes and highlights the importance of such area. There are no words to describe the area, just walking through the New Gate, all the way down through the market until the Wall, with a huge confluence of cultures, languages and religions, which makes the Old Town in Jerusalem one of the best places I have ever visited.

Overall the property, staff, breakfast and room exceeded our expectations. Perhaps if I had to say something that would be that I missed a bit more kindness from the staff members in the reception. They were very willing to help but maybe a smile, or a "you are welcome" after the multiple "thank you" would have made it a bit more pleasant and not like we were annoying them :-). Regardless, they were very helpful and professional.

Everyone super kind, we had an issue with a room and it was our mistake, however all the customer service including the general manager helped and accommodated our needs, even more than expected, went extra mile. Breakfast is amazing, wine restaurant and rooftop bar is great, there’s also a place for lunch/dinner and the food is great everywhere. The hotel is just across the old town so it’s pretty amazing. Super recommended.
