The hotel itself is fantastic. The rooms are lovely. We had two rooms both with balconies and one was an accessible room which was large with a lovely wet room.

The restaurant staff overall were OK but they were badly organised in the mornings with the area around the tea and coffee messy with rubbish strewn everywhere. In the evening the restaurant offers a set menu which includes a choice of 6 mains. We were seated and left to peruse the menu and it was only when we ordered that we were informed that two of the options were unavailable. We should have been told this when we were taken to our table. Overall it was a good stay but the restaurant is definitely the weak part and definitely not up to the standards expected from a Marco Pierre White one.

Room was as expected and comfortable. Parking was easy. Breakfast was enjoyable and the lady who looked after us at breakfast was excellent.

My daughter requested water for her room ,as the fridge was empty ,after dinner on Friday night. The member of staff on reception rolled his eyes but did not get the water delivered that night. She restated the absence after breakfast this morning -as she did not want me to get a charge for bottles which were not there. The water was delivered promptly this morning

Location was superb and the shower was amazing!!! Extremely powerful as well as the extra shampoo, condition and body lotion in the bathroom was an extra bonus

Restaurant food was terrible especially for the high price bracket!!! Main course had to be sent back twice as I was unable to chew the steak. I usually would not say anything however I had to speak up as it was that bad. They did however give me a complimentary drink but it did spoil the evening considering it was a very well needed break and a special occasion after dealing with cancer treatment.

The shower was to die for! Meal in the restaurant was lovely and I wasn't made to feel uncomfortable for being on my own. the free shampoo and conditioner was such a bonus.... and I enjoyed my cup of tea in the evening and the morning

The room wasn't particularly sound proof, you could hear loud traffic from outside, and every time a large vehicle went past the room actually shook. it was fine for me, but I would imagine some people would find it mildly annoying.

Cooked breakfast layout could be improved with more variety , it is was not the best presentation of food that I have seen in other hotels in the past, just rather dull to look at and the sight of fried eggs wallowing around in fat is enough to turn anyone of fried eggs for life. Cold buffet was okay but more room is needed as just not enough space. Another coffee machine would be nice as the queue was a bit long at times.

Bedside lighting not working and usb sockets not working.

The room was lovely, large bed, very clean

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that we couldn't turn off the lights behind the bed which were lovely and bright, but when we wanted soft lighting with just the bedside lights we couldn't turn this light off without turning all lights off. And I wasn't told to register my car licence number into the tablet when I payed for parking

Room comfortable, spacious and clean

Check in at was at unattended free standing desks in the centre of the entrance area. Staff seemed to generally hide in the "private" office nearby. Communication was poor. They did not tell us that the room key card was needed to call the lift, or get in the hotel late evening - we had to find out by trial and error.

Breakfast was great with plenty of choices and waitress was brilliant. Told reception i didn't want to use lift alone so was going to use stairs with case, she insisted on escorting me on the lift which I was very grateful about.

Didn't really like the location but I didnt come for the location, it was just a stay over for a christening so it was fine.

It is a good location in Somerset, not too far from the places we wanted to visit when we was there! We got room upgrade when we was checked in which was a great surprise especially that is was our last get away before our baby comes so was extra special.

The rooms and the rainforest shower was exceptional.

The staff member working that night was rude to me because I didn't see that i wasn't supposed to use this particular door as it was late at night, so the staff member told me off for manually opening the doors, there was no signs to say use other door.
