The room was very clean, it only lacked a small refrigerator. Breakfast was very good. The Wi-Fi was good. The location of the hotel is excellent (University, train station, Middlesbrough Stadium, Supermarkets, ...)

It would have been good to have a small fridge in the room.

Very modern hotel. Looks new. All the public area and room looks very clean and esthetical. Great breakfast. I would maybe add some cold meat and cheese as continental option. The staff are very friendly and open minded. Very good additions like water with lemon and fruit for guests. The bed in the room, however, is not entirely comfortable and it was find it difficult to find a comfortable sleeping position. The housekeeping team took good care of the room during our stay, however I left a dirty towel on the floor twice and came back hanging twice. When I asked for a replacement in person, they looked surprised and didn't understand why I was asking for a replacement.

The staff at Holiday Inn Middlesbrough- Centre Square truly went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was exceptional. Their professionalism and attentiveness to our needs were refreshing and made us feel like a valued guest. The housekeeping team has done a good job. Our room was spotless this left a positive impression.The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Thank you from us both.

Really well located, clean, welcoming. Lovely room and breakfast in the morning was excellent. The only downside was finding parking when we originally arrived there - once we were told how to access the linked parking; this was absolutely fine. We were also allowed to check in earlier which was really very much appreciated. Would definitely return.

The directions to the adjoining car park at the Cleveland shopping centre could be made clear from the start - to avoid a last minute panic of locating a nearby parking spot.

Location convenient for railway station and other amenities in central Middlesbrough. Close to Bedford and Baker Street independent food, drink and entertainment venues. Hotel allowed us to store our bicycles in the room. Receptionist and other staff friendly and helpful. Ample tasty breakfast available from 6AM so we could make it to the railway station for 7.10AM. Bedroom comfortable and bathroom was great. Free fruit available near reception which was a nice touch.

Just a bit noisy late at night from people in road and park opposite

A generic Holiday Inn experience, you get what you pay for. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were spacious and well-equipped. The location in the city center makes it great to reach any part of the city on foot. Breakfast is pretty standard and was included. They also have fruit and citrus water by the reception during the day, which I thought was a nice touch.

The beds weren't super comfortable, and one of the rooms had a terrible view of a parking area and a half-roof full with cigarette buts.

Breakfast area very tight . difficult to get a table at peak times. Food area very tight and congested and cooked breakfast choice very restricted .no tomatoes,mushrooms, cried eggs etc Only one coffee machine working and the other machine in huge demand ...too much going on in small area. .

The hotel was a central location walking distance of restaurants , pubs and shops .Staff friendly and welcoming and room very clean and comfortable and parking near by .Turtle bay craibbean social was at left hand side as come out of the hotel food not for me or husband but we give it a go but cocktails are out of this world for me . we also when to Doner Kebab German Doner kebab first time for us we lovely them 112 Linthorpe road TS12JR . we also found micro pub as come out hotel turn right turn right again across road it was call "The" INFANT HERCULES Liz was very friendly and welcoming we will call in next time in Middlesbrough.

we could not manage to put the heating on , it was very cold on arrival in the room. Staff are very friendly put it right for us thanks.

We loved the shower being spacious and our alone time, the breakfast was so amazing and staff were so friendly and approachable, as this trip was about my surprise birthday break i am glad this place was chosen i had 2 wonderful peaceful night's.

We were not so happy when got to the hotel and then told that there was extra charge for parking, we had worked out what money we needed and how much we had to play with, then finding out take away food was available in the hotel after we had already wasted money on take away in the area, we had to ask three times to then finally get fresh towels and when took a cup of coffee from the machine with our breakfast we took a gulp of it to taste dirty soapy water it was disappointing but staff was great and replaced it with a decent cup of coffee.

Room was clean and comfortable Good location for university and shops Fresh fruit available at any time which is a bonus Friendly staff Parking behind the hotel with direct access to the hotel again a bonus

Had problems with my key card, although my bookings were linked I had to keep getting my card reprogrammed daily. However my husbands worked fine. Coffee machines both breaking down at the same time caused issues at breakfast, but it happens.
