The room was large, extremely well equipped and very clean. The staff was very helpful at check-in even though it is contactless there was someone there to help. Before arriving they sent us a WhatsApp message with all the details we needed to enter the property and parking with one space allocated for electric charging. There is even a courtyard with a well kept garden if you would like to read or relax with a beverage. Overall this property is excellent. We had room 11 and the AC was also excellent.

The location of the hotel is excellent (very near the centre of Bergamo Citta Alta). The contactless checkin process worked well. The staff were cheerful and very helpful. Daniele kindly booked us a 4am taxi to the airport. It was good to have air conditioning in the room and a fridge. The breakfast was superb and the lady who cooked and served the breakfast was very chatty and friendly.

The room size was adequate but I was expecting something rather more "palatial" !!! There was no curtain in the bathroom. There is no lift, so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up several flights of stairs to the room, which was on the third floor. This would be very difficult for some people.

We were doing a whirlwind trip traveling around France for a week, and Switzerland for a week, and just barely squeezed in ONE day of Italy to piece the trip together. We arrived by plane and cab in the middle of the night, and were able to check in flawlessly with the contactless checkin. The inn was beautiful and quintessential Italy with cool art (including a Reservoir Dogs rust etching in the hallway 💗), free water available in the hallway, AC, large windows that open for fresh air, a stocked mini fridge… we felt very welcomed without even seeing a soul. When we woke, we had the best breakfast we’ve been offered at a hotel in Europe so far! Between the four of us, we sampled house-made apricot yogurt, croissants better than we had in France, delicious juices, local cheeses, fresh apricots and grapes, perfectly fried egg, raspberry tart, bacon, and a delightful cappuccino. This old town Bergamo was the perfect place to feel like we experienced true old-style Italy. The inn was only a few minutes walk to an impressively painted Basilica, beautiful old buildings, restaurants, cobblestone streets, church bells ringing. The garden was a serene spot to enjoy the Sicilian style pizza slice purchased nearby. All of this « Italy «  was experienced between 1am and 10am! We would LOVE to come back to visit longer! We all loved the bathroom too!

Very good location, 3 min walk from the center of Alta Citta. My room looked out on the tiny street which was nice, with tall windows. Breakfast staff was very sweet and helpful and breakfast was quite nice. Room was extremely clean!

The private bathroom across the hallway was a bit inconvenient. It’s an old building so understand it’s hard to convert to hotel, but it’s a kind of an odd layout overall (I had 4 different keys). Contactless checkin worked. But I did miss seeing someone I could ask questions during the day.

This is hidden gem on booking :). I do not even remember the last time when i felt so good and welcome somewhere as i felt here ( and i travel a lot). Location in old town is perfect, just behind the corner from piazza vecchia. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Room is nice, clean. Its a lovely old house, little bit cold as i was expecting, but dont worry, you can heat it with ac (i was here in october). Very lovely garden. Breakfast were very good. We must change our plans due to flight cancellation very very last minute and took the car. i texted the owners that i need parking only day before arrival, i recieved video with exact navigation and this was very very helpfull and comforting (after very stresfull driving in milano and troubles to find hotel, this was really big help), they arrange entance in the old city. I was so sad that we must left so early in the morning (9hours of driving back home). If i will go to bergamo again, i wanna stay only here :)

The hotel was a lovely mix of old world charm and modern features. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff were all really lovely. The view from the window was beautiful. There was also a little garden you could sit in.

The room didn’t have the usual European plug socket but there was one in the bathroom which meant that you had to charge your phone in the bathroom next to the sink.

Good communication with owner, smooth self check-in, available parking in gated area. Good breakfast with salty and sweet options. Friendly staff. Ecxellent location in the hart of cittá alta.

Small roads lead to the location, must purchase a ZTL car pass due to city regulations, but the owner provides great instructions including video of the location and parking. Parking might be tricky with bigger cars. The room was located on 2nd floor, no elevator (good to know for those with limited mobility).

Very friendly (and talkative) staff; very comfortable beds and the most comfortable pillows I have ever experienced in any hotel; nice garden that you can rest in; complimentary coffee and tea on the 2nd floor that you can make any time of the day; practically in the centre of the old town, very good communication with the hotel.

The breakfast was tasty but a bit small (I would argue that 2 croissants, 2 rolls, 4 slices of ham and 6 small pieces of cheese in total for two adult people is simply not enough, so if you don't prefer sweet breakfast, it is a problem a bit), and the fruit at breakfast was lying there for the whole week, so it did not look very appealing after a few days, and no one changed them for new ones. The armchairs in the room were very uncomfortable to sit in, especially the seating part. The last thing, which was not a problem for us but might be a problem for those with limited mobility: the hotel has 4 floors without a lift, especially the stairs from the 3rd to the 4th floor are very steep.

Excellent location in the heart of Bergamo Alta. So easy to walk the entire town to see the major sites, enjoy a drink at one of the piazzas and shop. Bonus to have parking on site. Although it’s a contactless check in, staff are on site to offer assistance. Breakfast was delicious and abundant.

Although the bathroom is across the hall, it is dedicated to your room so nobody else uses it.

The room is beautiful, very clean and spatious. We went by car and it was very easy to find the place and park there. Daniele was extremely helpful and the contactless check in is quick and easy. The location is great, very close to all there is to see in the old town of Bergamo. Breakfast was also delicious.

This is a minor issue, but the heater in the room was very dusty. It's the middle of summer, ofc there is absolutely no need for a heater, but it perhaps could use some dusting to make the room look even better.
