The hospitality of the staff was top tier! Michele helped us with reservations, getting taxis, directions, and even an umbrella escort from our taxi to the front door of the hotel upon return from dinner. The staff was so kind, went above and beyond. The included breakfast was delicious and helped start our days off right. The location of the hotel right in the piazza by the lake was perfect, easy to get to the ferry. There were fireworks our first night right outside the hotel, a discoteca on Thursday night in piazza, and located next to great restaurants. The room was charming, the bathroom was a bit of a tight squeeze, but comfortable. We didn't have a lake view, but we do recommend getting one if you book as the balconies overlook the water and have great views!

The bathroom was a bit small, the toilet was right against the shower so slightly challenging.

The name of the hotel roughly translates to view of the lake which you clearly have from the front door of the hotel.The lake is SO beautiful and it's nice to be able to see it in full View right from the window of your room. every member of the staff was super nice and helpful when we had any questions about nearby sites and services. the rooms are pretty small but quite comfortable and clean. Breakfast is included and pretty good Definitely recommend

If I am going to be really picky I would say I would have preferred a larger room and maybe a slightly more comfortable bed although the bed was fairly comfortable

This hotel was an unexpected gem. We arrived late 11.30pm due to a flight cancellation and the hotel had our booking ready with our room keys on arrival and a car parking spot for our car. We went for a stroll around the town and then went to bed. The location of the hotel is very central and while not on the lake, it is very close and central to everything. We had a family room and while the room had some wallpaper peeling/ tearing in a couple of areas everything else was above expectation. The beds were super comfortable and the shower pressure amazing. 1x king bed and 2 x singles. Windows had exterior roller shutters for noise and darkness. The breakfast was amazing and everything was delicious and very high quality. I would go back to this place in a heart beat. We had a hybrid car and was able to charge the car before we left and the hotel held our bags after check out until our return.

All the staff are nice and amazing rooms with amazing view And its location is beautiful and near to everything. You can ask the staff in the reception about the way of transportation and best restaurants and they will lead you, they are amazing

All good but small note that won’t affect the experience, the room comes with two cans of water and that’s it, no more water and the next days, if you want, you have to pay, it would be better if it comes daily free during the stay. However, everything is amazing and I would love to come back one day

Authentic Italian baronial style hotel, right on the lakeside with malvelous view to the lake and hills. Helpful and attentive staff. Excellent catering service. Nice terrace facing to the lakeside you can enjoy having a drink at night. Good Italian restaurant right behing the hotel. Ideal for couples viewing the surrounding beauties of Lake Como.

Room was rather small, balcony was so small that it cannot be used at all.

Location was first class right on the edge of Lake Como and close to the docking area for the water buses. We had a room with a side view which was disappointing because our view was mainly made up off a tower crane and an old hotel whose refurbishment looked to be at a stand still !! Room was small but adequate for us as a couple.

Would have preferred a room where we weren’t looking out at a building site and tower crane. Can’t really blame our hotel for that. All the staff were fabulous, only disappointing thing was that not once during our nine night stay did any off the senior staff or owners ask us how we were getting on, were we happy with the hotel, did we need and help or guidance etc etc.

This old school hotel was in a perfect location in Cernobbio on Lake Como. The flat stroll to the ferry stop and surrounding bars and restaurants is gorgeous. Breakfast included was superb. The staff were attentive and lovely. A view room over the lake would be amazing. we had a side view to the village church which was ok.

The room was small (which we knew) but the electricity was faulty and kept turning lights on during the night. bathroom light didnt turn on without the noisy fan, Balcony was nice but tiny so couldnt sit on it (chairs need replacing).

A fantastic location, and a classic hotel. Staff was mostly friendly, parking was appreciated and though a little different easy to access with the help of staff. We stopped in front of the hotel to drop off our luggage and checkin, then the bellman went with us to show us where to park. Parking is very limited, five spaces I think. Safe and secure, though behind two steel gates. The room was nicely appointed and clean, but fairly small. The balcony facing the lake was good and a great place to spend some time in the evening.. The location on the lake is perfect, right near the ferry station and with good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was very good, a blend of help yourself and made-to order, such as for eggs and pancakes. Cappuccinos, lattes and Americano coffee were very very good. Definitely recommended. Prices a bit high but we think worthwhile. Location, views, comfortable and a very good breakfast.

A bit small for a deluxe room but very nice.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Cernobbio is much more quaint and calm than Como, yet close enough to explore everything and the hotel is right by the ferry pier. The view is amazing, definitely pay for a room with a view if you are staying here, although you couldn't see the view from our bed which would have been lovely. The balcony was a real bonus. After comparing so many hotels, this one definitely seems to have been great value and we would stay again. Breakfast was also great.

The room is very small but we were prepared for this. We loved the 'old romantic' style of the property, if you like modern then this may not be for you, again the photos show this fully.
