The hotel has a great location to explore Lake Como area. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection of fruits, yogurt and freshly made eggs and other options. Also, the hotel offers paid parking which is an asset in this area where parking is not easy. It is very clean. Our room had a little fridge which was very useful. The restaurant was very good and we had dinner twice in the restaurant and enjoyed the food very much. Very reasonably priced compared to the prices in the area.

Everything about our stay was lovely. The staff was super communicative and responsive to our needs even before we arrived. My husband and I were in Como for a friend’s wedding and this hotel came recommended by a local friend - it did not disappoint. Apart from its convenient lake-front location across from the ferry, the staff is what truly sets this place apart. Family run hotel staffed by wonderful and caring people. Theresa at the front desk was a gem and took great care of us from arrival to departure. Lucky for us, there was a cancelation and she quickly upgraded us to a room with a beautiful balcony and view of the lake. The room itself was spacious, airy and felt like home. We also had lunch and the restaurant which also proved to be an enjoyable experience, excellent food, great wine and attentive service. My only regret was forgetting to snag one of the homemade panettone’s that they bake and sell daily on the premises. We will definitely be back!

The location was fantastic! Extremely convenient for getting around Lake Como as it is directly opposite a ferry port. It is situated in a very pretty little village on the Lake with beautiful views, a wonderful restaurant and pizzeria with The Grand Hotel next door, where you can utilise their Spa services. there is also a bus stop directly outside. It is 30 minutes by boat to central Como so it's very easy to get to the airport. A great choice for solo travellers.

I thought all the rooms had a lake or garden view but mine had neither. My balcony looked over the back of the building which was a little disappointing.

Very quaint hotel, perfectly situated in front of the Moltrasio water ferry terminal. Super easy to hop on and visit other ports on Lake Como. Our room was spacious and the little balcony overlooking the lake was lovely. Breakfast was excellent with the bonus of made to order eggs. They were fresh and absolutely delicious!

We were a little disappointed to find that when we sat out on our balcony, the high, front-facing, tiled wall blocked any direct lake view. When standing, though, the view of the lake and surrounding area was gorgeous!

The staff were amazing. One of our group had very poor mobility & everyone in the hotel went out of their way to help & accommodate us. Dinner was fantastic & service excellent Location was great if you don’t want to be the bustle of the city centre which is within easy access with water bus stop for touring the area located just across the road.

Taxi service is very expensive. We visited for a family wedding & chose Hotel Posta as it was only 12 minutes drive to the wedding venue. We were charged €60 on way to the villa & €53 return! Taxi to airport was €170 (if booked through the hotel) Some friends were charged €240 by individual drivers

Breakfast fine. Served at table to restrict indulgence. Room lovely, spotless though dark. Good to have minibar fridge (with water and soft drinks). Location just by the ferry. The town itself lovely. Great views. Restaurant excellent. Staff great, cheerful, expert and helpful.

Nowhere really to sit and relax, apart from dining room or it’s outside extension - which I used, but it is chaired for dining. A dim well furnished upstairs lounge had free coffee and tea but was a constant thoroughfare for staff going outside to smoke, phone, listen to football, collect laundry, etc. Also as a store for a broken chair and bundles of spare curtains. Shame.

This is our third visit to this wonderful family run hotel. We had a very spacious room, with huge en-suite and balcony overlooking beautiful Lake Como. It's a real delight to stay at Hotel Posta and it's convenient as boat stop is just over the road. Also parking garage is available. Breakfast and evening meal very good, with variety of choice and extensive wine list. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to return.

The location was perfect right across the street to buy tickets to go all over lake , the staff was warm and friendly. Teresa gave us suggestions were to go on the lake, which was perfect. The breakfast and the dinners at the cozy and charming restaurant was beyond delicious ,our room was large, modern , clean , the bed was comfortable, we slept like babies loved Lake Como , we highly recommend Hotel Posta😀

Hospitality: despite arriving quite late on a last-minute booking, we were received very well, with cordiality, understanding and smile. We were lucky to get a late dinner as well as a wonderful reception - overall, a heart-warming experience. This is a traditional, solid hotel of its class. The room had a high ceiling, all the amenities as expected, a wonderful breakfast, and the location is just amazing: lake view is hard to top.

This was an absolute delight! Returning from a days sightseeing, back to your delightful room, shower and then sit in front of their secondary pizza restaurant by the lake for pre dinner drinks was just delightful! Then it gets even better the Hotel Posta restaurant is simply Ooh La La! The food is outstanding with an excellent choice of wines! Special mention to the personnel…….so charming and welcoming……….this is a delight! ‘
