Location, room size, elevator

Building was covered on scaffolding so vie was limited and access to windows poor. Workers stated early so noisy. We should have been notified of this condition before any cancellation deadline in or to determine whether we would want to cancel.

Beautiful room, very well located

There were ants in the room ( a lot of them) and there was construction on the building so therefore we couldn’t enjoy the balcony and the view

Clean and central location

We paid €30 for a welcome aperitif, in which we got a very basic bottle of Prosecco and some nuts in a bowl, which was a little underwhelming

The location was superb, can't beat it. Room size was great and good aircon

One of the biggest selling points was the views from the balcony. Sadly it is non existent and will be for a while. They are fixing the outside of the building and have entirely covered it with scaffolding. Fair enough I say, but what's not fair is that no one is informed of this during the booking stage. I've booked places before where I'm told of works being done so I can know before I book but not here sadly. Both my wife and I hit our heads of the scaffolding which force protrude into the windows. You have to keep ducking underneath to even get a glimpse of the outside. Sad actually, which should have been advised

Amazing location on Piazza del Duomo with the view on Catania Cathedral. The room and bathroom were clean. There is a couch in the room, that can be used as an extra bed. Depending on your arrival time contactless check-in is possible (after 20:00 for extra charge though). There is a small and very slow elevator (we used it only once as the room is located on the 1st floor). We enjoyed our stay and will come back.

There is a contraction going on on the Piazza. It did not bother us as by the time they start working we were already out and about. But this is something worth to mention.

The room is spacious and comfortable, overlooking the square and the dumo, easy access to the property, we enjoyed our stay. It can be a little noisy at night because the square is alive with people well jnto the night. But that can be nice too, .lots and lots of places to eat nearby. We would stay again, good value for money

The Juliet balcony overlooks the square but there is only one chair in the room, it needs a second chair and a coffee table so you can make full use of watching the square (people watching ) while having a coffee.

The Piazza is just an amazing place to be, right in the centre of everything. Shops, restaurants, safe, friendly environment. As for any excursions (Etna, Taormina etc) don't worry about anything, just across the road they offer everything. The staff of the Duomo Suites are extremely kind and helpful. The place is kept clean and the room is easily accessible and comfortable. I was so happy to have Kids Netflix available.

The scaffolding was still there, set across the facade, which blocked out balcony and the magnificent view of Piazza Duomo.

We stopped in Room 4 and in opened straight onto the square which was so nice. At night the square came alive with live music and people out for dinner it was so nice. Great location and the beds were so comfy not what i was expecting.

I suppose the noise form square could have bothered you but once the balcony doors were shut we didn't find it distracting at all. You cant park near the property but the secure public car park is a few minutes away down through the square.

The location of the hotel is great and the view from the balcony is stunning! A lovely cafe across the square where we had lovely croissants and coffee. Very comfortable beds and pillows, very large and spacious room, crisp white bedding and towels. Air conditioning was very effective. Bathroom facilities very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Incredible value. Don't hesitate to book this hotel

Everything was perfect for the price point

This is fabulous accommodation. We booked a Duomo view (104) and got exactly that - a wonderful view of the World Heritage Site. The room was large, well furnished with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was well fitted and exceptionally clean, as was the room. The location couldn't be better for exploring Catania as virtually everything was within walking distance including the fish market, restaurants, bars and cafes. It felt like a safe area to stay. At night it was quiet, especially with the window shutters closed. All in all a fantastic stay - highly recommended.

The actual door to the accommodation was a little difficult to locate, but apart from that, there was nothing to fault.
