The property is in a great part of Catania. Close to walk to the markets, and about a 10 min walk to the train station. The owner was great and handled our late check in well and also organised a transfer from the airport. They also allowed us to keep our bags at the reception area until we needed to catch the train later in the day. They also allowed my friend to stay with me as they surprised me on my trip.

There is heaps of scaffolding on the exterior of the building so the balcony is basically redundant. You can’t see anything from the balcony. The room I was put in didn’t match the room that I paid for. I paid for the Superior King room which was supposed to have a couch and a larger bathroom but I didn’t get this room. It made me feel a bit cheated.

Roberta who I was dealing with had the best follow up from any of the people I dealt with over 4 weeks of traveling in Europe. She messaged clear instructions a few days before we were due to stay there. This was great. She arranged a fair priced car to collect me at the airport after I had to drop my car at the airport rentals. It was complicated but the driver Francesco went above and beyond to make sure he found me. Roberta even told us a scenic route to take from Giardini Naxos rather than the freeway. She met us at the hotel and even sent instructions on where to park to get closest access to the apartment with our baggage. Bonus as they had a lift/elevator. Roberta was the best And I would recommend Tre Stelle to everyone . Catania was a surprisingly great city and we thoroughly recommend visiting.

TOP location of this B&B next to the Duomo in the heart of Catania, this B&B is located on 3rd floor (you need to walk one floor up with your suitcase, elevator only up to 2nd floor) there are 3 rooms in this B&B, very clean & modern, all information sent for self check in is very convenient, at checkout you can leave your luggage if needed, they offer ticket for breakfast 3€ at coffee bar 1 minute from the B&B on the plaza, this is very easy and the coffee bar is VERY nice, very good communication with the B&B, small kitchen with fridge available, they give lots of tips for the city, Catania is a very nice city with MANY beautiful churches & buildings and MANY shops & restaurants, we took a guided visit of the Palazzo Biscari (10€ per person, different languages)

The room was simple and clean. The location is incredible with beautiful views over the main square.

Don't stay here if you want somewhere quiet. It is in the heart of the city right across from a busy, noisy cafe and there is a lot of foot traffic passing below. This wasn't a problem for me but I could understand it may be a deterrent to others.

it was so central to our needs … restaurants and bars really close and the chapels and cathedrals… Roberta was very friendly and helped us by giving lots of information … although on 3rd floor was manageable with lift to 2nd floor … room was very clean and spacious .. we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it

was a bit cold in the spacious shower room …. as weather was cold aswell … would be nice to have a small heater

The location was impeccable and the people running the B&B were amazing before, during and after our trip. It seemed as though we were old friends, messaging and keeping in touch, even though our interactions were mostly via phone/messages. This made us feel very comfortable and at home. The room was thoroughly cleaned every single day as though new people were coming in.

We had a minor issue with the AC but the owners resolved it within minutes. They responded to our Whatsapp messages and calls immediately and issues was resolved.

This is a modern apartement with a great location. We got advise on a carpark nearby, which was cheap and easy to get to. Just outside the front door, you will find the Duomo, fish market and lovely sights. Despite being right next to a busy square, the sound proofing on the windows were very good.

Even though this is advertised as a B&B, one of the B's are missing. No breakfast facility. We can't say anything about the host, we didn't see anyone before we were checking-out.

The room was modern and had a very comfortable bed, though a bit short for a tall guy like myself. The location was amazing! Within walking distance of many things.

The room was a bit small and the noise as people walked in was noticeable. The street noise wasn't bad at all though.

Location was absolutely perfect, communication was excellent in the lead up to our stay, and the room was great. Couldn't have asked for a better base whilst staying in Catania, would 100% recommend if you're thinking of visiting.

Absolutely great location! Very helpful staff. Great room with enormously big bathroom and wonderful view to the Duomo. Self check-in option is very convenient for late arrivals, not very easy to use though. Highly recommended!
