Outstanding apartment in the most perfect location. The beds are very comfy, the apartment is quiet, despite its central location. We arrived very early with the train and Alessandro the host he received us with a nice breakfast around the corner. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this apartment again. Highly recommended!

This place is absolutely perfect! The location is amazing! We were greeted by the host, Alessandro, as we arrived. He gave us a brief orientation and escorted us to our room. It was spacious and beautifully designed. Our bathroom did not disappoint either. It had an elevated feel with white tiled walls and black flooring with a very nicely sized shower. Alessandro was always available and gave great dining recommendations as well as "must do" things during our visit. Breakfast vouchers were given for each day to enjoy a variety of meats, cheeses, fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, and freshly squeezed juices at a quaint, precious bistro called Konnubio. It was a very short and pleasant stroll away. We thought that it was a great way to start off our day each morning. If you are lucky enough to visit Florence when there is availability at B&B Dell'Olio, do not hesitate to book. It will not disappoint!!!

This property was a hidden gem! It was absolutely clean and room was much bigger than we expected. The location couldn't have been better! It was in the heart of the city with a fantastic wine bar across the street. Alessandro is a fantastic host and he helped organize a taxi for our early morning departure on the last day. He made sure to follow up with confirmations which was incredibly helpful since we were a bit worried about making it to the airport in time. The ability to do our laundry onsite was a huge plus. We loved everything about the property. It's the only place we would stay in if (when!) we hopefully return to Florence some day.

The host was very friendly and accommodating. He helped us to our room and was thorough in the orientation process. We felt welcome to make ourselves at home. The room was spacious, quiet, clean, and comfortable. We were even able to wash our laundry! It's a great place to relax after a long day of walking around. The breakfast is in a restaurant within a short walking distance, which has great food and friendly staff in a cozy environment. The hotel is close to many great restaurants, bars, shops, and historical buildings where you're bound to find excellent street performances at night.

Staff was very friendly and helpful: Supplied us with a list of restaurants they recommend, offered to do laundry for us, and were clear with directions (check out, etc.). Room was simple but very clean, very spacious, and very nice. Bathroom was nice, as well. Location was A+: very close to all attractions you might choose to see. City is fairly small so everything is within walking distance. Would highly, highly, highly recommend anyone traveling to Florence to stay in this property.

Check-in instructions weren't totally clear: if not for another woman who lives in the building walking in and opening the door for us as we were trying to enter, I'm not sure how else I would've gotten in. There may have been instructions somewhere that I missed, but I didn't recall seeing a passcode/pin anywhere in our instructions.

If you stay here please be mindful that this is not your house and hanging out in the family, room back and forth from your room, slamming your bedroom door multiple times at all hours is making a lot of noise for people trying to sleep.I can sleep with the street noise but the inside noise is different.

On a 2 week trip in Rome with 4 different accommodations, this was by far our favorite place to stay. The location was amazing (one block from the Duomo), the bed and pillows were the most comfortable we’ve encountered in Europe, the place was very clean and comfortable, and the owner was friendly and helpful. We used one of his suggestions for dinner and it was our favorite meal we had in Florence. The floor plan of the room was great for letting our children have their own space and us our privacy. Highly recommend this place.

Location by the Duomo was perfect. Close to everything! Alessandro, the owner-manager was fantastic from initial booking questions to greeting us & giving tips & suggestions for restaurants & shopping. He even offered laundry services which was nice because we were midway into our Italy trip. We had no need to use the kitchen really - but we did take advantage of the common sitting area with our friends. The breakfast location/restaurant was about 50 yards away and super convenient and perfect for our needs. There was coffee available in the kitchen as well. There were 4 rooms - all that I saw looked roomy, modern and comfortable. This was great since we were there for a friend's wedding and had days with multiple attire changes.

Because of it's central location there were a lot of people around all day and into the late evening. The room got a little stuffy at night & the AC wasn't that strong - (OR it could have been that we didn't put it on soon enough to feel the coolness while sleeping.) We didn't really need it during the day because we weren't there. Towels could have been fluffier --- obviously they get washed a lot - but it's always nice to have a soft towel while on vacation.

This B&B was a great place to stay. The location is outstanding, close to everything. The room was very spacious with nice fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. The host, Allesandro,(I probably misspelled his name) was great. We were able to have an early check-in which we greatly appreciated and he even did our laundry for us which was unexpected and very nice. He gave us a list of his favorite restaurants and also helped arrange taxi service for us. When I come back to Florence I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it.
