An absolute delight! The staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly, the room was beautiful and the right size, the bathroom was particularly nice. They went above and beyond to make the stay special for my guest who was celebrating a birthday during our stay. The real things that set this place apart are the terrace which every room has access to 24/7 which has unobstructed views of the Cathedral and Il Duomo. It's just a "wow" moment. The other thing is the location, nestled between Prada and Jimmy Choo but very unassuming you could literally throw a stone and hit the Duomo (please don't) but it's a max of 15 minutes to most of the sights you'll want to see. When you need to find your way home but follow the Duomo.

Operating the elevator does take some getting used to and if someone hasn't closed the doors properly you won't be able to call it. There are signs on how to get it workingWe worked it out completely by day 2 and it worked really well. Whisper quiet as well. I really struggled to find anything to put here.

The location next to Duomo was fantastic! It was easy walking distance to all other main museums and sights as well. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was quick and typical of a standard European breakfast. We felt safe with multiple locking doors at night. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Our shower did not drain well and flooded the bottom of the shower. We ended up turning the water on and off to allow it to drain while showering. There wasn’t much of a change after it was brought to the staff’s attention for the next day.

We were so thankful to come across B&B La Terrazza! We booked at the last moment due to a non-functioning air system at the place we had originally booked. And they say there is a silver lining to everything, for us it was La Terrazza! The view from the rooftop was amazing and the rooms were cool, clean and comfortable! The breakfast had many delicious treats and options. We were so pleased that when returning to Italy, we will choose La Terrazza first!

The location of the hotel was very close to the duomo and easily accessible walking from train station. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room right away. the room was very large, bright and clean. Ceilings were 12' and the room had two large windows looking out to the street which brought in more light. large king sized bed was very comfortable, linens clean and soft. Bonus amenity is access to the rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the city!

Beautiful property in the heart of Florence, perfect location. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff - from the moment we booked, helped us with restaurant (strongly recommend Trattoria ZaZa a short walk away - must book), taxis and trains.Immaculately kept, gorgeous room with excellent air con. The roof terrace has the best views of Florence. What a find and we’ll definitely be returning.

There’s nothing not to like. I noticed a couple of reviews mention the stairs, but there is a lift so if you have luggage or would find the stairs challenging, this shouldn’t be an issue.

The location is hard to beat, with the terrace obviously being a showstopper. The windows were soundproof enough that the central location wasn’t too noisy.

We walked around the block a few times looking for the entrance (in a lot of heat). Some better advice on the website would help travellers (a small entryway between the Pravda and Jimmy Choo, take the historic elevator to the 2nd floor). And the first night we didn’t realize the AC panel was by the door, there was a “cool” knob on the radiator that we thought just didn’t work. That was unfortunate but probably our fault.

The locations can't be beat. The B&B is right on the square with the Duomo (Cathedral). Everything is a short walk. The rooms are very nicely decorated and clean.

Google Maps (and Apple Maps) have the location wrong, by about 150 meters. They bring you a point where you would have to drive the wrong way up a one way street crowded with tourists to get to the hotel. So, if you are driving, be careful with the navigation.

The location is fantastic- just steps to the Duomo and just a short walk to the Uffizi, Accademia and Ponte Vecchio. Many cafes and restaurants nearby. Our room was comfortable and quiet and very clean. The staff is the best. They are so friendly and helpful and quick to respond with any requests. The rooftop is amazing with stunning views, perfect for a wine and cheese sunset viewing.

The high ceiling room was spacious and elegantly decorated. Super clean and comfortable. Location was superb, right on the edge of the bapistery. Tea, coffee etc provided in the room was great and the roof terrace views amazing.

Being so central it can be very noisy and the bins get emptied through the night by refuse lorries so it can be hard to sleep as they were right outside our window.

The room and location were so much grander and better than we possibly could have hoped for! The room had an amazing view of the duomo and even more incredible was the roof top terrace and view overlooking all of Florence!! Truly beautiful! We were only steps away from the Duomo and situated right between Prada and jimmy Choo!! For any fashionistas… this was thrilling!!! The staff was so friendly and accommodated our every needs! We highly recommend this apartment!!! You will not be disappointed!!
