The location is impeccable. I had never been to Florence before, and as I looked out my window, I was transported by the view. All around me were outside tables to enjoy a glass of wine, a cappuccino, a meal. Horse-drawn carriages if you fancied a ride through the streets. Vendors selling souvenirs and artists rendering paintings. The bed was very comfortable, there was an electric kettle with coffee and tea, immaculate bathroom with great shower and water pressure. As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe.

If you are early to bed, close the windows! Florence does not sleep here until after 12 pm. If you have difficulty with several flights of steps, you might need to reconsider, though the owners are very helpful with luggage. Thank you, Mrs Giuliana, for a perfect stay.

Location is absolutely amazing. Right in Duomo Square. The view out the window of the Florence cathedral is magical. Close to many restaurants and just a walk to the uffizi and the Academia museum. Absolutely loved it!

The location was excellent. Right on the square near museums, restaurants and shopping. Built in 1400 but everything was updated/great clean shower. All sorts of sweets and biscuits in the room each day. There are amazing coffee shops a few doors down so was happy with no breakfast at the B&B. Fresh pastries and fresh squeezed orange juice. Loved opening the windows and seeing all the people walking and shopping. There is fridge in the room with a cork screw ready-a small bottle of nice wine was reasonable for only $6.50. The noise level was good as everything died down at 9:00. The church bells chiming at 7:00 was quaint and charming. As a solo traveler-I felt very safe. There were 3 safety locks with 3 keys. Easy to get in as the keys were all different and worked perfectly.

At first a little hard to find. As the sign is very small. I was using maps and walked past it 3x. The B&B is right next up MOVEIT record and restaurant. 2 door down from the Irish Pub. The color is more of a mustard color

Location was unbelievable just in front of the Baptismal of the Dumuo Cathedral. A bit noisy at night as the 2 bars next door stayed open until 1:30 AM. There are quieter rooms overlooking the alley though. Giuliana was excellent. Stayed for a late morning check-in. Answered the telephone promptly to get directions and answer questions.

Room cleaning did not replenish the Cappuccino mix for morning coffee on either mornings. We had to ask. Also the toilet paper was not replenished and we ran out during the night. Not a good thing. Shampoo was likewise not replaced on the third day. Thankfully we bring some of out own.

Absolutely the most fabulous location, right on the Duomo square with views of the Cathedral and Baptistry from the sitting room, in a stunningly preserved 16thC home. Well appointed, large apartments with separate sitting room living area and modern bathroom, and location of the bedroom at the rear away from the Duomo square which made the bedroom comfortable and quiet. Excellent air-conditioning throughout Wonderful hosts who have provided many home comforts, including minibar fridge, kettle with tea, coffee and some snacks as breakfast service was not included. Our hostess Giuliana was warm, welcoming and very helpful in her orientation of the apartment, provided a map with Florence attractions and suggestions for local authentic Italian dinner Trattoria options, as well as advice for breakfast and direction to the local covered food market.

The room was exquisitely appointed, radiating elegance, cleanliness, and a sense of pure comfort. Nestled on the vibrant Piazza de Duomo, it offers an unparalleled location that exceeds all expectations. Its proximity to the train station, Palazzo Vecchio, and the magnificent Pitti Palace is a delightful surprise for any traveler. In the morning, the hotel's advantageous position provides easy access to a myriad of charming cafés, ensuring a delightful start to your day. As the evening unfolds, picture yourself relaxing on the picturesque Duomo square, savoring a refreshing beer, exquisite cocktail, or classic spritz, just a stone's throw away from the inviting entryway of the building that leads to your sanctuary. Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly endorse this enchanting locale to our dear friends who plan to embark on their own Florence adventure.

- Without 24 hour front desk service, you need to coordinate your arrival to check in during the hours of operation. After booking, I realized the check-in time was before 1300 (1 pm). I arrived in Milan from the Philippines at 0730, and while on the train to Florence I booked my stay. After booking, I recognized the check in requirement by 1300. Pressure. It all worked out. What a day! Be aware of this time limit, which may or may not be adjusted, if you coordinate with the hosts.

A perfect location and a lovely property in Florence. Our accommodations were very comfortable and spacious for our family. Very clean, with thoughtful touches provided by the hosts such as coffee, cookies, and extra towels to make our visit special. Great view from our windows, looking directly at the Duomo and Cathedral. We did some fun people watching during the day and were able to walk to any restaurants or shops in just a few minutes. Loved it!

There is some (understandable) noise from the piazza directly below but it was not overly disruptive. The location and the hosts more than make up for it.

Location is excellent! Walking distantce to most landmarks. The staffs are nice and helpful. They provided good room service every day. I did appreciate that they allowed us to leave our luggage in B & B after checked out, and offered opening the sitting room for us to rest if we needed. This is a huge help for us so we could go sightseeing for the day and without heavy luggage.

The wardrobe door could not close properly, although it doesn't a matter for using.

Breakfast was not included at this time, due to renovations taking place, The location was magnificent and suitable for walking all over Florence. Walking from the parking garage (arrived by car) was a bit stressful with heavy luggage, so would suggest traveling lightly (and taking the train). Giuliana, the host, is just wonderful ... so friendly, helpful, and accommodating with everything. She is applauded for her excellent customer service.
