The location is impeccable. I had never been to Florence before, and as I looked out my window, I was transported by the view. All around me were outside tables to enjoy a glass of wine, a cappuccino, a meal. Horse-drawn carriages if you fancied a ride through the streets. Vendors selling souvenirs and artists rendering paintings. The bed was very comfortable, there was an electric kettle with coffee and tea, immaculate bathroom with great shower and water pressure. As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe.

If you are early to bed, close the windows! Florence does not sleep here until after 12 pm. If you have difficulty with several flights of steps, you might need to reconsider, though the owners are very helpful with luggage. Thank you, Mrs Giuliana, for a perfect stay.

The location was spectacular, the view was unmatched, looking right out on to the Baptistry. As an Irish couple it was also quite nice having the Irish bar as our neighbours! The hosts were so sweet and helpful, particularly Leonardo who marked off all the best things to do on a map including a yummy lunch in Guidos and a very fancy breakfast in Cafe Gillé. The room was spacious with a comfy bed and good storage for clothes. Fair pricing for the mini bar and free tea and coffee was a very nice touch.

Nothing - it was perfect!

Giuliana (the owner) was unbelievably kind during our stay, a level of hospitality and thoughtfulness we saw nowhere else in the places we stayed at in Italy or Austria. This alone elevated our experience above just being a place to stay. She offered great advice on things to do and see in Florence and accommodated for our awkward schedule. The room was incredibly spacious for a place right off the square. The place was clean, management was commutative, the view was great, the location was extremely convenient and perfectly centered in the city, and there were even little biscuits and coffee in the room for us. If we ever return to Florence, we most certainly will stay here again! Very glad we decided to stay here in a cozy B&B instead of a large, faceless hotel with no soul!

The views and distance to the Duomo were simply breathtaking. It was incredibly convenient to get around the city and everything is within a 10-15min walk. Giuliana was absolutely amazing and recommended many places to us, she even set us up with a map of our own. We also had several heavy luggages and her staff helped us bring them up the stairs to our room. We also left something behind during our stay and she helped ship it back to us. The service and location are truly unbeatable. Highly recommend!!

Only thing to note is that due to the proximity to the square, noise can be a little bit loud at night.

Location was unbelievable just in front of the Baptismal of the Dumuo Cathedral. A bit noisy at night as the 2 bars next door stayed open until 1:30 AM. There are quieter rooms overlooking the alley though. Giuliana was excellent. Stayed for a late morning check-in. Answered the telephone promptly to get directions and answer questions.

Room cleaning did not replenish the Cappuccino mix for morning coffee on either mornings. We had to ask. Also the toilet paper was not replenished and we ran out during the night. Not a good thing. Shampoo was likewise not replaced on the third day. Thankfully we bring some of out own.

The location was excellent. Right on the square near museums, restaurants and shopping. Built in 1400 but everything was updated/great clean shower. All sorts of sweets and biscuits in the room each day. There are amazing coffee shops a few doors down so was happy with no breakfast at the B&B. Fresh pastries and fresh squeezed orange juice. Loved opening the windows and seeing all the people walking and shopping. There is fridge in the room with a cork screw ready-a small bottle of nice wine was reasonable for only $6.50. The noise level was good as everything died down at 9:00. The church bells chiming at 7:00 was quaint and charming. As a solo traveler-I felt very safe. There were 3 safety locks with 3 keys. Easy to get in as the keys were all different and worked perfectly.

At first a little hard to find. As the sign is very small. I was using maps and walked past it 3x. The B&B is right next up MOVEIT record and restaurant. 2 door down from the Irish Pub. The color is more of a mustard color

Location was ideal. The view is just incredible and we were right in the middle of everything. Just short walks to all the major museums and churches. Great host and perfect view. Loved this place and would stay here again if I come back to Florence!

The bed was just ok and the bedroom size could have been a bit bigger. But I’m really nitpicking here. The place is great, the host is fabulous, gave us food recommendations which were awesome. Gilli has the best coffee and hot chocolate I’ve ever had and it’s a 3 minute walk from the place.

Location is absolutely amazing. Right in Duomo Square. The view out the window of the Florence cathedral is magical. Close to many restaurants and just a walk to the uffizi and the Academia museum. Absolutely loved it!

We were blown away by our stay at A Florence View. Guiliana, our host was so helpful guiding us to the B&B. She upgraded us so that we looked over the Duomo. The room had a seperate bedroom and living room and was very spaciuos and clean. The location was incredible and you could walk everywhere. Her recommendations for some local restaurants where spot on. I loved looking out over the square, we seen wedding photos and people just enjoying life. One of my favourite parts of our month long trip.

Absolutely the most fabulous location, right on the Duomo square with views of the Cathedral and Baptistry from the sitting room, in a stunningly preserved 16thC home. Well appointed, large apartments with separate sitting room living area and modern bathroom, and location of the bedroom at the rear away from the Duomo square which made the bedroom comfortable and quiet. Excellent air-conditioning throughout Wonderful hosts who have provided many home comforts, including minibar fridge, kettle with tea, coffee and some snacks as breakfast service was not included. Our hostess Giuliana was warm, welcoming and very helpful in her orientation of the apartment, provided a map with Florence attractions and suggestions for local authentic Italian dinner Trattoria options, as well as advice for breakfast and direction to the local covered food market.
