Lovely 4 night stay at this b&b. The girl (Marina) was super helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Nice small balcony room on the fifth floor , the breakfast is delivered straight to you and we had it on the balcony with great weather...what a joy !....On a busy road and roadworks ongoing but it never bothered us . The door and window shut and the shutters down (electrically controlled) and we never heard a thing . A ten minute walk to Finnegan's (Irish pub) which served good beer and snacks. All in all a great stay and would thoroughly recommend.

Nothing other than our flight home being cancelled due to bad weather and our cases being lost 😩

The check-in directions were very clear and the hosts were very responsive. There were plenty of bus routes and many restaurants within walking distance. The room itself was exactly as advertised! It got a little cramped with the sofa bed laid out, but a great room for the price. The view over Florence from the terrace was also very nice.

We were unaware of the law that forbids air conditioning before May 31st and it was unseasonably warm. Being on the top floor to get a terrace worked against us as the sun shone directly into the room in the afternoon.

We had the junior suite with balcony. The two rooms were lovely and very spacious. The bathroom was nice although no room in the shower to put things apart from the floor. The cleaning lady was lovely. So nice. Cafe lattia nearby for breakfast was fab. 20 minutes walk from duomo. Parking at parterre excellent 15 euros a day and 3 minutes walk to accommodation

There was building works outside, obviously that's temporary. It's really too noisy to sit on balcony even if on 5th floor. The walk might be too far for some

This is the best place to be in Firenze. Elvira (the owner) made everything easy for us. Check in was a piece of cake as she had sent directions (detailed video) for the entry, check in and everything else is needed. Also as I had problem with my whats app she responded at once in every call of nine. We opened the door and we found a small paradise. It's not a room. I would say a small apartment. Super clean as we were the first persons who got inside. Large room. And hot!!!! As it was at the end of November we needed the heat I must say. The smell of the roof was something else. The building of 5 roofs (don't be afraid, there is elevator) is in a public road but it's quite in a magical way. On the other side there is the Pizza di Napoli, excellent food in good prices. Nice bed, the refrigerator is full with whatever u might want. Water, beers (thanks God), wine and lots of alcohol. U could serve coffee as well in the room. 2 TVs and one big sofa.... And of course Irina. The best lady where she was making us the breakfast and kept us clean!!! A sweet person kind and helpful. Thank u so much for your hospitality. We will see each other soon!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

big light airy room opening onto a big balcony. large and comfortable bed with good quality linen. good shower and separate room for the toilet. check in was easy and the staff member was super cheerful and helpful. our request for mugs and a kettle to make tea was met immediately.

be aware there is a short flight of narrow stairs to the room. this was no problem to us at all but could be useful to know. I don’t think all rooms had this.

there was only one chair in the room, which meant that for breakfast one of us needed to sit on the bed to have breakfast The choice for breakfast is rather limited (only one type of cheese and it’s regular classic cheese), only one coffee and no water offered for breakfast no shower gel in the bathroom (only shampoo) no complimentary water, the aircon was quite noisy during the night

Although breakfast was in the room there was an excellent choice, food was delicious and fresh, great coffee and all served on a trolley that could be a table. All served at the time requested. Like room service in a luxury hotel! The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Excellent communication prior to our stay. 20 minute easy walk from Santa Maria Novella station and outside the main tourist area but with one of the best restaurants in the city about a 1 minute walk (Perseus). Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend. Beautiful large room and bathroom. Great views from our balcony(as attached)

There was street traffic noise but this was only really noticeable when the door was open onto the balcony.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed/decorated. It was nice to come back and relax in. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of selections. Though when we wrote down quantities of 2 (for americano, toast) we still just received 1 serving, perhaps there is a limit that was not mentioned on the form? The bed was super comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. AC was strong and worked well while we were there in mid-May. We appreciated having a kettle in the room & the kind staff who stored our luggage and called the taxi for us

When booking the double room, it mentions a balcony but ours did not have one (just 1 large window) which was a bit disappointing. It was also a bit loud in the mornings when breakfast carts were being delivered/rolled out. When we arrived, the elevator door was left open on the 4th floor (where we stayed) so we couldn't use it. It was only after lugging our heavy suitcases up the stairs that we realized why. Couldn't be helped as it was probably another guest who left it open, but it wasn't the best welcome in

Clean, nice showers, good communication. Pretty spacious rooms with a decent city view. They graciously let us store our bags before checkin. And i loved the cafe Blasio right downstairs on the corner for my morning espresso and schiacciata.

Not in the hotel’s control but other travelers should understand it’s a solid 20-25 min walk from the Duomo. I went 3x south of the river and took a regional bus from the bus station and this added up to a lot of extra walking; the local buses helped though!

Just about everything. Roomy, comfortable bed and linens, excellent shower. Double glazed windows. AC. Our junior suite had a balcony overlooking the Chianti hills. Great for winding down at sunset over a glass of local Chianti. Very good restaurants nearby, as well as a superb Esselunga supermarket. Laundromat about 20 minute walk. We loved being a 20-25 minute walk from the touristed center but I gave it a good rather than excellent in case that’s not for everyone
